Her voice gives me EVERY SINGLE FEELING IN THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE. It’s almost unnerving. Dang. I’m happy i found you! NOT a singer but very recently just felt like it’s something everyone should do even if they don’t think they are. It feels soooooo good. Love this ❤❤❤
After watching/listening she said that she now knew how the song was supposed to sound. :-) And Davina's reaction to Pink watching her was great to see too!
She went to my school, they guide you a little bit but there is no extreme vocal training. The school is very music focused but not a school you can only get in if you want to learn about music.
@@manelmanel3492 Research vocal techniques, get a good idea of what it's supposed to sound like and feel like. Take it slow and build up, stay within your limits, don't push yourself too hard or expect too much from yourself. Practice everyday, strengthen the most comfortable part of your voice aka the place where your voice naturally sits and practice your lows and highs. You can go on to learn belting etc. Just be careful and gentle and remember you're an individual person, our voices are so different from each other, what works for you might not work so well for someone else and vice versa.
I subscribed to Davina's channel immediately after watching this video when PINK reacted to fan's covers for Glamour. After hearing this PINK actually said that she now knows how the song should really sound. PINK has reached out to Davina, and if I remember correctly, I believe Davina has even opened for PINK. This cover put Davina in the spot light.

This was amazing analysis! You're right, when she just sings it like that it seems like some kind of magical unattainable thing, but when you broke it down it's easy to see that it's just technique that can be taught and learned.
The special thing is that Davina Michelle has never had singing lessons! I was beginning to wonder after Dimash, Daneliya Tuleshova, and Diana Ankudinova if I would ever find a vocalist that could really move me. Then BAM, here comes this young lady. Absolutely stunning vocals. I agree her texture is her own and she knows how to breathe life into the song. Finally, a new favorite! A part of me pondered if the vocal emotion was just the slightest bit over the top, yet the whole song worked for me. I don't think ever singer can get a way with that, but she did. Again, stunning.

We are now 3 years later. Davina has grown a lot. She's now one of the best singers we have. She had the honour to sing our national anthem at the Formula 1 race in Zandvoort, followed by Floor Jansen, arguably the best and most versatile vocalist in the world at this time. We begged Davina to participate in the Eurovision Songcontest, but I think she's outgrown this already. If she partipates, she would win without a question.

Now this is what a reaction video should be. Too many people are too stuck on themselves. They sit there and say "Wow" and make faces, like we place such a great value on their opinions. Most of them can't tell us any more about what we're hearing than what is obvious to the most casual observer. You offered a complete analysis of exactly what makes this performance great. (Rick Beato does this with music "What makes this song great") I was impressed when you repeated the "us" perfectly. In fact, I was so impressed with your talent/skill I was watching on TH-cam music and came over to TH-cam just so I could express how much I enjoyed this video. Now I'll have to see some more. This lady was on Beste Zangers, a show that Floor Jansen was on(different season). That means she's Dutch. The Netherlands spits out great singers about the way The Philippines does.
What makes her an incredible musician is her ear. Every cover she has, she completely changes her vowels, her diction, her inflection, her placement... she even changes her facial expressions and body language... to match whoever the artist she's covering is. You watch her do Beyoncé, and she embodies her. Rihanna, Gaga, Sia, Demi Lovato... whoever it is. It's fantastic to watch!
I also love her newer original songs, especially live. The live version of “better now” from when she opened for P!nk is great for example, probably my favorite! I also liked “liar” a lot.

You can always identify exactly a singer is doing and how to do it. Not only that, but you can always demonstrate the techniques. Bravo!

If you are really really wanting to learn to sing and pay attention to the little details that will really make a difference, then please listen to this woman and what she's pointing out. What’s so awesome about the incredible voices on Beste Zangers. They all can sing wonderfully in 2-3 languages! I encourage you all to go watch videos of them all. The band along with singers. All live just 5-7 singers showcasing different kinds of songs. Wish we here in the states. Did this
