She was featured performing on television and radio, and her TH-cam subscribers grew from 12,000 subscribers to 450,000 subscribers. Her cover of P!nk's "What About Us," now has more than 11 million views, and she got a number one song on the Dutch charts.

It actually does intrigue me how a person can conceal dialects when singing
Thing with singing is that u change the way u say words for projection and stuff. An example being in choral music the words and sounds become tall so it sounds kinda British. U also use a different part of your brain to sing, because of that ppl either stutters can sing perfectly but speak with a stutter.
Have you ever listened to Lewis Capaldi sing and talk ? It’s completely different, when singing his voice is strong and beautiful and he has a light Scottish accent but when he’s talking oh god like the accent is so thick omg

I remember when Pink did the video that Davina is talking about. I immediately went to her channel to listen to this beautiful woman with the amazing scratchy voice. I was blown away. I subscribed to her channel and I remember thinking , wow, how does she only have 13,000 subscribers. I’m so happy for her that she is getting the recognition she deserves. Her talent is off the charts, her voice is beautiful and so rare. Love Davina❤️❤️

I have had the opinion since the first time I heard a Pink song that Pink has the best voice that I’ve ever heard. My opinion on that has not changed. Your cover of her is very very very good. In fact, One of the best covers of her song. When comparing one’s self to Pink is a very big challenge. Pink is a whole package of Style, personality, showmanship, writing ability, singing ability and it goes on and on. You put all of that together I’m a fan. Congrats on your success. It’s well earned.

I went to the beautifal trauma tour with davina michelle being the support acct and i am so happy that pink did that and got her were she is now. In holland she was and still is spoken of bc of her new music and i am getting more and more hooked on her new songs everyday. And am happy that this generation still has this female performer showing love to all woman. So thank you davina and thank you pink for giving her this chance i see you dont regret it❤❤

I have been listening to Pink for as far back as I can remember. I listen to genres that are not hers for the most part. But there have always been songs she has done that I have absolutely liked. She has grown and her style has changed a bit. I’m loving her new stuff lately. What I have always liked about Pink is she has owned who she is and always feels authentic. Great music, great voice and just a good person. Finding out she did this for someone else doesn’t surprise me but it does make me appreciate her even more. What a great thing to do. I hope they will both collaborate and sing a song or two together. Both of them are incredible singers.
