  • In this short video we will be going over the primary and secondary immune responses. The primary immune response occurs during the first time the immune system is exposed to a particular antigen. The secondary immune response comes into play when the immune system reacts to a previously known antigen.

tq .. that was short and simple. Enjoyed it . I thought dentrite cells were the cells that take the virus, antigen to the lymph node to process the suitable antibody.. Here it seems macrophages are APC .. Are B cells a short form for Blood cells ?

Dendritic cells interact with the T cells in secondary lymphoid organs (such as lymph nodes). Certain dendritic cells are able to stimulate B cells. B cells refer to B lymphocytes which produce immunoglobulins/antibodies.

A lymphocyte is a type of white blood cell. This video discusses B & T lymphocytes (typically called B & T cells). IgM, IgA, IgG are antibodies produced by B lymphocytes.
