watching back at old episodes and as someone born in 2008 who was half asleep, I whipped my head around. Ted's my fave sooooo that was pretty cool. also, I like the ramps, my bias toward Ted aside.
It was reassuring to hear that these guys were nervous about the world ending back in 2012 too. I was 12 and was trying to make peace with the world ending because it felt so real.
On like my 100th listen to this episode I am observing that the arguments Schlatt make for not wanting to be a part of Ted's zombie power scheme pretty much fits perfectly for industrialization itself. He doesn't want to get his hands dirty with the labor because there could be an accident. He doesn't want to put people to work to do it for him because doing that is "terrible", risking their skin. So what we're learning here is that if industrial society isn't already prepared for Scatt, he would rather take himself out than spend any amount of energy trying to do something constructive beyond a very non-committal amount of "playing" for some vague scientific purpose.
I can not believe there are tucker haters out there. What a sad life to live. We love Tucker. Tucker I hope you are well and happy and had a nice little treat today. ♥️
The same thing that happened to Schlatt in DayZ happened to me and my group of friends in Ark, we played with this guy for well over a month and one day we wake up, we're all blocked by him, everything we had is gone, oh boy.
