Most countries now trying to adopt UPI concept. 2, 3 months back one of my office client side employee came to India. We team went to a lunch there I did google pay he was so amazed to see that. He asked me in detail how this implemented . He said I never expected that India has progressed so much in digitalisation. I felt so proud in that moment. One of colleague told him that even vegetable vendor, tea stall owners, smallest shopkeeper has UPI system. I told him whatever foreign media showing about India, India is not like that anymore its progressing , speed is slow but we surely are progressing . Still there is poverty , uneducated people , dirty places , traffic or huge population but we are working on it and we will overcome it if every citizen will think that this is also my duty. I have to keep surrounding clean , I have to educate my kids, I need to support government, we need to focus on Made in India . 🇮🇳

When digital payments were introduced I remember how Congress rediculed it saying only the elite urban class will be able to use it. Demonetisation was a catalyst in all of India adopting UPI. This is still being criticised.

@@davelawson2564 no it's not problem of money limit, it's number of transactions that is just 10 per day. It doesn't matter if you do 1 rupees or 1 lack per transaction,but you while shopping you pay small amounts like 10rs to 80rs many times as many the shop or whatever you want. So 10 per day is bit too less, make it 20 per day(to RBI). I myself have many times exceeded the limits (of 10 a day just after buying while on out). I will have to wait 24 hours to make another transaction doesn't matter if 1r or 1lakh.
If this is successful , people who visit singapore also , no need take cash . That's great news . I hope more countries involve in this payment system.

I am USA citizen, it’s true that in USA it takes two to three BUSINESS days to transfer money. This means if I initiate a transfer on Friday , the my beneficiary will not get funds until following Wednesday or Thursday!!
There is miracle or something fairy in West there is no concept of adjustment and compromise they can invent upi of their own it just app but here in India we do it for free.. I know they charging little bit now if you crossed certain numbers but still its dirt cheap all international cards charges up to 3 to 10% just for sending even with turtle🐢 speed, here in India we do many things that they can't afford even like changing sim like clothes having multiple bank account in West services are too expensive.. In India you can hire help to cook food I know cook would just make normal dishes but in Europe and usa only rich people can hire cook and mostly cook would come 2 to 4 days and make large batches to freeze it for weeks
