Everyone is welcome, but then only a few hotels outside big cities would accept foreigners. Welcome to China, but good luck finding any service workers while looking for the hotel who speak decent English)
Other than that, yes, very welcoming country

Your video just showed up in my feed and I’m glad it did. I’m an American and I really appreciate you showing us what China is like for you. Please don’t be discouraged by some of the negative comments you receive. Please keep sharing what you love about your home and workplace. It’s very interesting to see and you have a very natural way about your content that’s refreshing and not over the top. There’s lots of options to choose from and I’d choose you over the rest so please 🙏 don’t stop.

There is no money left after all the wars , weapons ,military bases , sending weapons to Ukr and Israel lol. And it will take too too long and cost too much money to do anything. Just 1 station will probably cost US20B and take 15 years. Well they can ask the Chinese , nicely. Nah China would say - sorry , we too busy helping Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil , Hungary , Laos etc etc.

Thank you for doing these videos!! ♥ As a Chinese living in US for 20 some years. I have seen most of the kind of prejudices toward China.
I used to simply dismiss it before, as per my preference, there were still much to improve when I went back to visit. But the development in the last 10 years are simply surprisingly strong and people's lives have been improved drastically, despite COVID and international whatevers. One has to be absurdly ignorant to hold the same kind of prejudice as they did 20 or even 30 years. It's no surprise some folks from US and European never changes their views on China, many of them are either conservative in their world views, CCP = bad, therefore China is no good, therefore anything good came out of China must be CCP propaganda. Willfully ignorance are from their low self esteem, or their SDE, and keep having to find something to poop on to help them feel normal.

US government is not supportive for their people, and the country spends more on international affairs rather than sheltering so many homeless people in US. Many cities in throughout America are teeming with homeless people. If go to a city in China, big or small, rural area or wherever you want to go, you won't find any, or it will be very difficult to find any. America's homelessness problem is out of control and they also have homeless war veterans. WAR VETARANS. Can you believe that? Can you imagine fighting for your country and then they leave you homeless on the streets? That's what America does to its own citizen who fought for their country. Can you believe that?
The US government can help other countries with trillions of dollars or getting them ideas of military, ideas on this and that. But what's up with USA? The people need you, the homeless need u.
Just look at where America spends most of their money, and then take a look at where China spends most of their money. And there you will find your answer. One country is rising, the other is falling. Most Americans are mad at China because China is doing better than them. It's hard for the Americans to take. The truth hurts. Most Americans are jealous of what China has managed to do. It's not all Americans, some are waking up and seeing the real China and seeing the truth.
US public policy decisions are made not to benefit the population at large, but the public policy decisions are made to benefit a small sector the top 10%, top 20% of the population.
That's why the standard of living at the bottom 50% of the America's population hasn't gone up in several decades.

@@Aroundthecorner1727 As far as i know, most of these Chinese people choose to go to the United States because they have a huge debt in China. The houses and cars of those who cannot repay the debt will be auctioned off by the court, and they cannot take high-speed trains or airplanes domestically, which leaves them with no choice but to come to the United States. Of cos, this does not mean they are all bad people, but going to the United States to start over might be a good opportunity to them. Wishing them all the best. If they fail, they will be joining the homeless masses all over US.

During the 2008 economic crisis, China spent trillions of American dollars to build these beautiful buildings to stimulate the economy and deceive you foreigners. This money could have been used to increase medical insurance and welfare. The Chinese government only cares about its own rights.

America GDP is to bluff Americans so that they can still feel proud.Recently only I found out that GDP is a joke.
    As an example.
You go to a dentist in America to pull a tooth out and the charge is US$200.
You go to a dentist in China to pull a tooth out and the charge is RMB$140 , that is US$20
America had just generate a GDP of US$200
China had just generate a GDP of US10 ( only ).
A main course meal per person in America generate a GDP of US$100
A main course meal per person in China generate a GDP of US$30 ( RMB$210 ).

I ve been to China recently and i feel the same way as you, Lizzie. Most places in china are so clean and more modern than in the us or even more than europe (which is also a lot more modern than the US). I really love to travel trough the US, the nature there and all the national parks are fantastic, but the cities are really lost. They are like ghost towns or towns in a dystopia or something.
The two things that i hated in china are: the food. wtf. there are all parts of animals in every food. nearly no vegetarian options. and the people. all men smokes here and everyone is spitting around.

      中国政府做了他们能做的一切,然而人民的素质没法瞬间提高,很多中老年依然保持着他们年轻时候的生活习性。我承认我抽烟,但是我不吐痰。

NYC will collect the congestion tax for entering Manhattan. It is literally a toll and they say they are going to use the money for improving the subway and buses. I live in Queens, part of NYC but a forgotten step sister, and already pay the city tax. The only time I drive to the city is to take my grandma to the hospital. I need to park my car in the garage since no parking available, which costs me around 40 USD for a couple of hours. My subway station is so deteriorated and covered with bird poop. I have no idea why people don’t realize the real problem is not changing their mindset. They need to see this video. Oh, well.. never mind. Living in the NYC for more than two decades, I presume NYC is dead anyway.

Aimed at "image damage control" I visited China a country with NO human rights protections, softer regulations that are aimed at protecting the consumer, where your neighbors will turn you in if you're critical of their government 🤫.

To me Chongqing is one of the iconic cities of China with good city planning, it's not easy to build a metro system that can cover a big city, one of the cities i wish to visit.
Some might not like the surveillance camera, but it will come in handy when something's bad happened.
It's not necessary to argue who's better between US and China, people always have different point of view towards something, US have their goods too, but at least I don't have to worry too much on life threating activities like gun shooting in China.

I like my spacious yard. Spacious camper, and freedom of hobbies not allowed in China. 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hour drive to hunt and fish. China is nice, and it appears the people care about their country. Even with all the cameras, I have no problem with that. I have only used a subway in Korea not the US. I'm no fan of concrete city living.

Not surprise when it comes to infrastructure engineering, no one in the world can beat China. They are the master of their craft.Just look at their bridges. It would take the U.S too many years to do what CHina can do. And too expensive for what the germans can do.
