Hey travelers! Do you want to win one (of five) signed postcards from Antarctica?! Comment A) your favorite moment of the video, B) where you are watching from, and C) your bucket list trip!! Bonus points if you say something creative and stand out 😍 I’m picking winners in 48 hours from now, and I ship worldwide! PS - I want to genuinely THANK YOU for watching this story - it was (by far) my biggest production yet in terms of planning, budgeting and overall epicness. Thank you to White Desert for putting on this once-in-a-lifetime expedition! In case you are wondering, they offset ALL of their carbon emissions from flying & daily activities - and have been completely carbon neutral since 2007! I love you all and stay tuned for more awesome adventures ahead!!!! ❄🐧🇦🇶
My Grandfather use to do expeditions in Antarctica during and after WWII. He was a weather analyst back then. He still has the gigantic zippo style lighter that he cooked food on. Hes 95 and still does work for Shriners hospital of StL. He said it was so cold sometimes that it would freeze his mustache curls. 😊
That still doesn't change the fact that there are 49million kangaroos in Australia and 3.5million people in Uruguay which means if the kangaroos were to invade Uruguay, each person will have to fight 14 kangaroos ...
I'm 56 and the moment you all made it to the South pole put me in awe. EXHILARATING!!! I am from the Philippines and obviously not used to cold. So i would have wanted to go to Switzerland before my journey on earth ends so i'll just dream. But hopefully it will materialized. God bless!!!
Incredible experience. I find it fantastic that after visiting every country, you keep finding new places and experiences. My son and I have been your fans for 5 years now. Your adventures helped us go though COVID lockdowns and install the travel bug for him. This year i will be visiting my 50th country and my son will go to his 6, 7 and 8th. Cheers from Mexico!
Drew, I recently discovered your videos and I can’t stop watching. I love the way you connect with people all across the world and try to embrace and understanding their cultures without ever passing judgement to how you live. You are truly inspiring and I wish I could travel the way you do! You have gained a new fan and follower! Keep on doing what you love and showing us
Drew I’m watching this episode from my bunk in my semi truck, I deliver specialized freight and often find myself exploring areas away from the highway all across America! Your channel inspires me to always explore no matter where you are!
I lived in my 1979 Pete 359 with flat top walkin for almost a decade running booze from California to Nevada over Donner 6 times a week. I loved it. Then hauled fuel in Nevada and then dirt in an end dump. Miss my jobs but it got me to Hawaii in 2004. Take care. ❤
I felt very hot earlier, but after watching this episode I felt a lot cooler, perfect! The snow scenery there is really magnificent, and enjoying five-star food there must be the happiest thing in life! Thanks a lot for sharing, you did a great job. I wish you happiness, health and joy! 👍😍🙏
Drew, your video "I Visited the Actual Southernmost Point on Earth" is absolutely mind-blowing! As someone who has always been fascinated by remote and extreme locations, this video was right up my alley. The way you captured the rugged beauty of Antarctica and the thrill of reaching the southernmost point was truly inspiring. Your adventurous spirit and passion for exploration are contagious, and I found myself completely immersed in the journey. The stunning visuals, combined with your informative commentary, made me feel like I was right there with you. This video is a testament to your dedication to showcasing unique and off-the-beaten-path destinations. Can't wait to see where your next adventure takes you!
Drew, your videos really make a positive impact. Every time I watch one, I completely forget about whatever is bothering me, my own life circumstance, and for just that length of time I am whisked away to an amazing part of the world. It makes me dream of travel, it makes me hold on to hope that there is so much goodness to experience in life. Thanks for taking us on this awesome journey :)
im a teen descended Korean, parents from Busan to the south , living in the UK , my favourite part was around 18:51 with the ice cave. It was just so majestic to see such a unique wonder of our world! I would love to go to Istanbul or somewhere in the balkans or southern europe some day just to get little sun and some amazing food and to witness culture!
Thank you drew for sharing this amazing adventure....... Since I've been watching this channel I've learned about a lot of places without even visiting there..... Can you imagine through your Antarctica trip I've learned new things about this continent, I've never known that during summer doesn't set, or there is an ice cave , there even some dry land with stones, or this continent is bigger as twice as the USA.... And a lot of things I hope to learn in the near Future through your adventures ..... Love from Tanzania 🇹🇿
I hope to visit Antarctica one day! 🇦🇶 I’m from the US 🇺🇸, but currently traveling Europe! Watching from country #16/197, Poland 🇵🇱! I’ve wanted to travel the world before, but it was you who opened my eyes in 2018! Thank you for the inspiration, Drew! 😃❄️
RUSK!! I'm South African and just saw the part where Drew eats his first breakfast in Antartica. For those wondering the "granola stick thingy" is called a Beskuit in Afrikaans and a Rusk in English!!! It's a super delicious and filling type of biscuit that you dip into coffee as it is too hard to eat without coffee, tea or milk
Baby penguin was amazing, watching from Bellevue, Michigan, Okavango Delta is my bucket list destination. Love you brother. Thank you for opening up the world to us!
Favorite moment was when you finally reached your destination. That feeling of achievement is truly genuine and can be relatable in lots of aspects in life. It wasn’t an easy journey for you and your team. There were storms along the way and sometimes it made you doubt whether you’ll make it or not. But at the end of the day, you just keep going. For me that was the message of this vlog. Just Go! I’m watching from the Philippines and my bucket list trip is Iceland. I want to witness the Northen Lights and the beauty of this place. Nature has this magnificent power of healing. Congrats on this achievement Drew! 👏🙌
Hi Drew. This is my mom’s youtube account because the comments are disabled.😅 Since I was 7 years old my dream was to go to every country in the world. That’s basically my bucket list and visit south pole of course. But a bucket list trip would definitely be the Caribbean. I’ve been watching you since I was 8. I’m 14 now and I still watch you’re videos with the same passion as I did when I was 8 when you didn’t pay the barber a visit as often as now, just kidding.😂 I sent you an email back in February and you answered like 20 minutes later, trust me that made my day probably 10 times. I am sending this from Hafnarfjörður in Iceland near the other pole. The 2 best parts of the video is when you touched the pole at the end and when you flushed the toilet. 🤣 I hope you visit Iceland sometimes and if you do, you know who to call. Keep doing what you’re doing❤🥶

im watching this 6 months later and I just love it ,Favorite moment was when you were taking Amarula with the natural ice cubes , Im watching from kenya , My bucket list trip definitely has to be to Egypt
Two Belgian explorers Dirk (dixie) Dansercour and Alain Hubert crossed the South Pole in 1997-1998. They covered almost 3,932 kilometers in 99 days with a power kite, a record. Dansercoer died on June 7, 2021 during an expedition in Greenland after falling into a crevasse.
After watching many of your episodes throughout my life, I've got to say this one is the best. I wouldn't say the editing is any different or the video quality. Antarctica is just insane. The weather, temperature, winds, light, snow, ice, camps.. All of it. Been watching for so many years and still to this day have the same drive and hunger as I used to have 5 or 6 years ago when I was watching people travel. Currently I'm 18, studying, and can't wait to get myself a job and spend absolutely 100% of my income towards traveling to obscene and absurd places like this one. All the love from Serbia
Hi Drew Binsky, I'm Kiran Parmar from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. I hope you and your team are doing well. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your incredible travel experiences. Watching your videos has been inspiring and helps me appreciate the beauty of different places around the world. Your positive attitude and adventurous spirit are truly motivating. Keep up the fantastic work, and stay safe on your travels! Best wishes, Kiran Parmar
❤🎉My wife and I had tears in our eyes watching this video as we were so happy for you. My favorite moment, every time you had heart eyes because of what you were experiencing. Writing from the Netherlands. Dream destination atm is traveling around the Philippines. As I'm chronically ill now it's a lot harder to travel. Before it would have been easy to travel around there but I focused on different countries in SEA. I may not be able to do it the way I used to but I for sure will still make the most of it when possible. Just go 🎉
The most favourite moment from the video is where you eat the ice , people in India who have zinc deficiency or just like to eat ice , eat ice a lot and i mean a lot that includes me too by the way the nature , the wildlife over there in Antarctica is so fascinating and how the sun reflects over the white glazing snow and blinds you at every moment possible as there is no light as a continent that never sleeps in specific seasons . Love from India Drew!! 🇮🇳, I would definitely love to visit the Egyptian pyramids and explore it's wonders
I loved the moment you meet the imperial penguins, I love them so much, thnx Drew for every story you give me, I like to travel with you in every contry, to see the whole world through your eyes! My name is Leila, I'm from Romania, and I have 53 years. Thank you, Drew!!
Only that it's not the "real experience" you get sheltered like a millionaire. Who gets hot showers coffees all the time etc in Antarctica? This has nothing to do with actual exploring
Incredible journey, Drew. You have taken us to a place where I would never have had the opportunity of visiting. Thanks for sharing it with us. Respect from Bangladesh
This whole video was amazing. Thank you for these videos you bring us ... My 9 year old was just asking about Antarctica and he loved this video. You answered his questions he had. Thank you again from Ohio!!!
I am so frickin jealous! I have NO fear, just the realities of life and limitations of money....but I would go ANYWHERE if a ticket is provided, life is an adventure...58 countries, and counting 135 more to go!
My favorite moment from the video is learning all the facts about Antarctica. Seeing the wildlife, the tents, how everything functions, etc. I never knew just how huge Antarctica is. I’m watching from Arkansas, as someone who would never see this with my own eyes. That’s why I love travel channels… My bucket list trip would be visiting Europe again. Italy. Croatia. Seeing more cities, taking my time truly immersing myself. Scotland, New Zealand! SO many places… lol Thanks for the beautiful video!! ❄️ 🏔️ Had to edit to say- Wow!!! That tent/pod thing you stayed in… omg! It’s amazing!!!!
I looked up the price for this tour with the company he mentions several times he went to Antarctica with. Space is available for them this year and the starting price is listed as being $110,000 per person from South Africa so getting there is more expense. Looks very interesting and the vast vast majority of people in the world could never afford it in their wildest dreams.
Thank you for sharing these travels with us, Drew! I don't ever see myself going to places that you visit, but I am SO glad that I get to visit them through your vlogs. What a gift!
This one is special, really the pinnacle of this channel. It’s an absolute blessing for this channel to be free to watch. Thank you Drew for your inspiration and sharing all of your incredible adventures with us.
Wow, you’re so lucky to have made this incredible adventure to south pole. Mother Nature is truly beautiful 👌🏾 I hope to also make it one day and experience the beauty of the most southern part of the world where everything else points north. One love ❤ a young TH-camr from Africa looking up to you.
Idk why, but I teared up as soon as you stepped foot off the plane on to the geographic South Pole. It is so very amazing and I am so very happy for you! 🥹
oh my g, I cried too when he touched that south pole! felt deeply for the earth nature by watching this video! will never visit there but nice to learn!
Man I’ve been binge watching for hours!!! Thanks so so so much for the videos!! Really feels like I’m there with you! I’ve got to get out like you do! So inspiring
Similar weather for half the year as Antarctica here in Alberta, Canada. 🇨🇦 Also, my favorite part of the video was seeing upclose and personal footage of the Emperor Penguins, such cool and majestic animals! As for bucket list trip, it would have to be Northern France or really any part of Europe that played a big part in World War 2 as i am really interested in that part of history. Lastly, I'd love the opportunity to be mailed one of the postcards! ❤🐧
Lol yeah I was gonna say aside from the penguins, you could see everything in this video in 🇨🇦 for a small fraction of the price :) and as a Canadian, the time of year when these kind of experiences are possible here is when I'd most like to be somewhere else lol
Favorite moment so far is when the baby penguin got close to you guys and started flapping its wings. It looked so happy to see you, and you could see the happiness on your face. Side note: Funniest moment is when you rolled your eyes when the alarm went off on day 4. LOL. I live in Colorado!
You can tell how much colder it is once you get to the South Pole. Everyone is out of breath.. that's COLD! What a cool experience Drew! Thanks for sharing it with us. I loved seeing all the different stops along the way!
Hi Drew, Frisco,TX!! My favorite part of this video is watching you go to the South Pole!! I find it fascinating and interesting on how non habitants try to survive some of the harshest and coldest environments on earth!! My bucket list travel journey would be to explore Africa!!
Going to the very southern point of our Earth seems like such a great feat and is as well. Imagine the feeling of understanding the incredible vastness of Earth, and you are on the tip of it, in the frigid cold lands of Antarctica. Then a penguin comes up and greets you.
Congratulations! When you visit the North Pole, you can proudly say you are bipolar! I want to visit both poles. I live in Mississippi but in a couple of days I will be going to Pakistan and Afghanistan. That’s exciting for me, but comparatively tame compared to the South Pole. My bucket list is all the countries, both poles, and THE MOON! What an amazing trip, Drew!
Love your video Drew! Your video gives me a view of Antarctica that I've never seen before; I couldn't quite grasp how extreme it was until now! Cheers, from Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺
My favorite part is the underground crystal cave. I'm from Los Angeles and am watching this from Mexico City. My bucket list trip is Tasmania, Australia for the Southern Lights, which as a matter of fact, I'm going there this summer when it is winter in Australia.
This video provides all the evidence anyone with open eyes can see that the world is not a globe. Antarctica is the ice wall. You can see that in this video ffs!
This was soooo cool! I became obsessed with Antarctica back in 2015. Just something about a continent being that unique, surreal, and beautiful. I hope to go someday!
Holy smokes, what an amazing experience. You definitely get around. I recently watched your video with the trip to the most northern part of Alaska. Thanks for making and sharing your experiences. As I'll probably not have the time or money to go to some of these interesting places, I'll be with you in spirit for however long the video. Happy and safe travels.
Hi Drew 👋 Watching from Wasaga Beach, Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. Stumbled upon your channel 1 week ago and love every vlog you've posted. You're quite interesting and inspiring with your content. Keep it up 🤗
I mean think about the cost it takes for it to be an all inclusive stay at the literal most remote place on the planet honestly I think it's a fair bargain.
that is an exceptional travel destination :). i guess you are one of teh luckiest person in this plant. feeling incredible to see this video.. Mother earth! no words :)
Favorite moment was you eating the fresh piece of ice out of that cave and the super blue ice caves. So beautiful 💙 Watching from Miami FL☀️ and bucket list trip is Turkey 🇹🇷
Wow! This trip is EPIC! Thanks for posting it! I love the ice cave, the South Pole, and the beautiful ladies! My favorite part is when you throw the boiling water into the air and it freezes before it hits the ground. Watching from Big Bear Lake, CA. My bucket list includes a trip to South America (Colombia, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile for sure) and actually living outside the U.S., maybe in one of these countries or Spain, because I already speak the language fluently. There are MANY other countries I want to go to, specifically Sweden, Germany, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. I would love to go to Antarctica!
There is an Antarctic station located precisely at the geographic South Pole. It's called the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station. This research station is operated by the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) and serves as a base for scientific research in various fields, including astrophysics, glaciology, meteorology, and geophysics. The station is situated at 90 degrees south latitude, making it the southernmost continually inhabited place on Earth. So it's safe to assume that well over 10,000 people have visited the south pole.
Ha ha ha no no no you silly ballers we here laughing I'm prob only 1 stupid enough to engage with you people that watch this and defend it so strongly but we are here 😘
I bet you’ll meet a beluga whale there. They are very smart. They pass the mirror self-recognition test just like you. So you’ll both be checking yourself out trying to meet a Polar Bear.
@@drewbinsky well if you ever go to an aquarium, they’re very cute. They have like a stress ball material on their head that you could squeeze which they use for echolocation and they’re very nice and you could put your hand in their mouth. And yet they weigh a few thousand pounds.
My favorite part was rushing to my browser to look up the tour for my wife and I only to realize what I thought maybe be something to save for would end up requiring us to sell our home. 😂 enjoy! Tour is a blessing for those that have it like that.
ANTARCTICA IS MAGNIFICENT🤩🧊 OH MY GREATNESS WHAT A CONTINENT ! snowy places are my heaven and i was falling in love with the white beauty that you showed me ! thank you so much

Only that it's not the "real experience" you get sheltered like a millionaire. Who gets hot showers coffees all the time etc in Antarctica? This has nothing to do with actual exploring
How is it courage and endurance?
Petition to drew to go to the international Space Station
If there were tourist trips to the moon, Drew would probably go.
@@kdawg4585 there are to the space, but they are expensive af
Maybe he can do it he has a lot of money.
Btch yes!
Great idea‼️
Incredible journey, Drew.
You have taken us to a place where I would never have had the opportunity of visiting.
Thanks for sharing it with us.
Respect from Bangladesh
This whole video was amazing. Thank you for these videos you bring us ... My 9 year old was just asking about Antarctica and he loved this video. You answered his questions he had. Thank you again from Ohio!!!
Penguins are Just Unique Creatures. They look so Adorable 🤩❤️💯
The people that you met that you went down there with seem like so much fun to hang out with!
I am so frickin jealous! I have NO fear, just the realities of life and limitations of money....but I would go ANYWHERE if a ticket is provided, life is an adventure...58 countries, and counting 135 more to go!
I second that! 😃👍
SO many places… lol
Thanks for the beautiful video!! ❄️ 🏔️
Had to edit to say- Wow!!!
😲 I knew it had to be expensive but I never thought THAT much 😳. Nevermind looking into it 🤑🤑
Well, at least we get to watch the journey for free😎
Thank you for sharing these travels with us, Drew! I don't ever see myself going to places that you visit, but I am SO glad that I get to visit them through your vlogs. What a gift!
This is just WOW. Everything out there is breathtaking. Thank you for this amazing video, Drew. Watching from Cebu City, Philippines 🇵🇭
I find it comforting that it is not too much colder than my home Chicago in the winter.
it's summer there, in winter it can go to -70ºC in some parts not survivable even with heating
Congratulations on making it to the bottom of the world! And thank you for taking us with you.
It's a fake vid so he is upside down but standing rightside up it's fake only a fool will believe this nonesence
@@elroyham-q9cWith that logic, you will always be tilted
This one is special, really the pinnacle of this channel. It’s an absolute blessing for this channel to be free to watch. Thank you Drew for your inspiration and sharing all of your incredible adventures with us.
Thhank you!!!
What an amazing feat, Drew! Thank you for bringing us along with you in this epic travel. Cheers!
Thanks for being here with me!
Also, my favorite part of the video was seeing upclose and personal footage of the Emperor Penguins, such cool and majestic animals!
Wow! This is a once and life time trip. 😊 thanks for sharing
You can tell how much colder it is once you get to the South Pole. Everyone is out of breath.. that's COLD!
What a cool experience Drew! Thanks for sharing it with us. I loved seeing all the different stops along the way!
Wow so that’s what rich people do?!

I think the trip was sponsored anyway

What an incredible video 😍 You present Antarctica 🇦🇶 in such a beautiful way 🙌🏻
Hi Drew, Frisco,TX!! My favorite part of this video is watching you go to the South Pole!! I find it fascinating and interesting on how non habitants try to survive some of the harshest and coldest environments on earth!! My bucket list travel journey would be to explore Africa!!
Those penguins are so beautiful and resilient!🎉❤😊
I'm from Cape Town!🇿🇦 Love your videos, always so informative and inspiring🙏🏾 Glad you enjoyed your short stay here!❤
Going to the very southern point of our Earth seems like such a great feat and is as well. Imagine the feeling of understanding the incredible vastness of Earth, and you are on the tip of it, in the frigid cold lands of Antarctica. Then a penguin comes up and greets you.
that penguin was so cute
@@drewbinskyand you hear a flat earther shouting “Where’s the border?!”
What an amazing trip, Drew!
love this comment haha
@@drewbinsky Drew, don't chose the moon, nobody went out to the "space" yet.
wow the ice cave is one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen. the colors are incredible
Love your video Drew! Your video gives me a view of Antarctica that I've never seen before; I couldn't quite grasp how extreme it was until now! Cheers, from Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺
Me too 😊
My favorite part is the underground crystal cave.

XD
Watching your videos actually make me feel alive. Thank you for sharing all your journeys that I will never make.
This was soooo cool! I became obsessed with Antarctica back in 2015. Just something about a continent being that unique, surreal, and beautiful. I hope to go someday!
I want to visit Antarctica too because I was born with Cerebal Palsy.
Winter is my most favorite season each year.
Why the cold for cerebal palsy? Just wondering.
I like summer andni do not like winter bbrrhh too cold

Holy smokes, what an amazing experience. You definitely get around. I recently watched your video with the trip to the most northern part of Alaska. Thanks for making and sharing your experiences. As I'll probably not have the time or money to go to some of these interesting places, I'll be with you in spirit for however long the video. Happy and safe travels.

Surprised there are no flat earthers in the comments shouting "Nuh uh!". Great video.
