+anson huang guys your better than this no one needs this who cares even the worlds top gamers who actually need to this don't have it plus video games are sorta like drugs obsession, additcion, ruins your brain so yeah gamers will go to hell and u guys be good and grow up and get good jobs
Anyone able to afford triple 4k gaming should feel sorry for me and donate a lot of money to my account. Now THAT would be a true act of kindness wich will prolly earn you heaven till the money given runs out XD
+John Shepard its quite possible this day and age all you need is to get a 2x gtx980ti they go for about 650 dollars per card i7 6700k about 380$ overclock the cpu to 4.8ghz with a 240mm water cooled rad 120$ it would be consider a conservative clock speed get a custom loop or all in one cooler for each of your gpu that about 100x2$ more then 16gb of ddr4 ram and a good mother board you can probably build a triple 4k gaming rig for less then 4k usd basically about the same or a litle more then this card
jeffrey1296 why do you guys act like unity is so unoptimized. Their are plenty of vid's with people getting over 80-100fps with sli 980's at 4k ultra. Im over this whining and exaggerating how bad games are now. I have the game on an fx 6300 and 7870 2gb and i get a steady 50fps on high (not ultra). Get some texture flickering here and their though.
Even in compute - the dual R9s will destroy the Titan. R9s are Open CL monsters and have similar amount of stream processors (called cuda cores by nvidia).... dual cards will double the stream processors. Ram would be 16 gigs... the titan Z has 12... And the clock speed of an R9 is more than a titan. I am not an AMD fan by any means and rock a 780 ti in my personal rig but to be true.. for compute aven one R9 would destroy the titan . R9 has 12 t.flops and titan z is limited to only 8.
i have one and i still love it. it works well for all my games (gta iv) gta v emulator watch dogs, etc). downsampled, supersampled and on one monitor which the only place you look at when you play a game anyway... also very good for opengl. float point and number crunching. love it..
It's called 4k because it has roughly 4000 horizontal pixels (3840 to be exact). If anything the phrase "Ultra HD" sounds far more like marketing Jargon.
bob james The term 4K is actually a recording term as raw footage recorded for film was recorded at over 4K horizontal pixels and was then down-sampled for bluray.
1080p isn't going away for a while, don't you worry. I can still get most things (movies, series) in 720 as well, im barely even seeing a decrease there, as most "digitv" solutions still operate on 720p. There will always be a forefront tho, and it's necearry to let tech grow. dyou think your camera is anywhere near military or NASA spec? hell no! but NASA needs them, and eventually it will trickle down to us! it's a beautifull thing, and you should appplaud them for it! but again, 1080 isn't going ANYWHERE for a long time seeing as current gen consoles cant even make it past 720 for certain titles. 1440 is a pretty high price to pay for a few more pixels, 4K is basically a showboating thing a this point ;). you have to forgive linus tho, he has to do these things or the techfans get mad :p. im betting les than 1% even has a 4K monitor that they can actually utilize for anything outside of the VERY sparce 4K videocontent out there. gaming? forget about it.
how small monitor do you have? i have 1920x1080p on a 24'' monitor and i can se the fucking pixels. It really annoying. You need to crank up AA to not se the pixels. And some games doesn't even support high enough AA. Also AA is really demanding on your graphics card. And if you are still sceptical i suggest you google "crysis 3 8k sceenshots" or "skyrim 4k screenshots", seriously they look so real, it will totally convince you that higher resolution is a good thing! I myself cant wait to get my hands on a 4k screen, i will probably wait 2years before i buy one though.
yea, 10 years isnt a bad guess there victor ;) GPUs will have to evolve as well. even sli on 2 titan z's wouldn't do it, and would be a RIDICuLOUS pricepoint zs well. as for now, even the price hike from 1080 to a 1440 screen is too big for my liking so... no 4K for me for a while :p
ChopStickSamurai Minecraft? bitch please my potato with .01 ghz overclocked can run Minecraft. Try some real games like Minesweeper even on Low graphics and in windowed with me Anti-virus off i only get like 1/2 a Fps.
Better CPUs actually help much more than better GPUs with Minecraft. Any normal GPU can run Minecraft but what makes it laggg is that it has to load and render all the blocks and the CPU is the one that has to do all that.
For FPS games i'd go for a single monitor. I'd go for 1 1080p monitor over 3 1080p monitors even if I could run the 3 at 144 fps capped. Now for FPS games i'd take it even if I could only get 60 fps and 144 in regular 1080p. Simple breakdown: I hate stretching and it hurts my eyes
I haven't performed much research on the subject but did watch the NVIDIA release of the Titan Z. From what that small demo implied it seamed to me that the card was capable of realtime rendering. Using on board computation to drastically increase this feature. Specifically identifying physics computation. However, this acknowledgement went with the difference in what it took to produce cgi graphics in movies. It specifically identified a couple of movies, of which I cant recall, and the differences in renderings per frame in hours. The comment was even elaborated on identifying that the older technology took something like 25 hours per frame to render while a current computer that is 1M times faster took 250 hours per frame. This went on to reveal the "demo" was done in real time. This identifies to me a couple of items. 1) the card is intended as a workstation power house for movie cgi rendering most likely accomplished with custom code to use the card to full advantage, and 2) Though it was mentioned that it would make for excellent game developement that current game coding does not take advantage of its capabalitites. This test, however interesting it may have been, is only accurate in regards to current game coding. So for current game systems obviously there are better choices as most serious gamers are aware. The next generation of games using this cards capabilities would have drastically different results. Just as Minecraft is a relic from single core computer era and though multi-threading capabilities have been added still does not take use of modern mulit-core processors and is horrible when on board video is concerned. Modern games just have not be programmed to be aware of the Titans hardware. Sorry for the novel but just some food for thought.
wrong, it's already "2 way sli" currently, hence you still get the increased frametime peaks etc. (I know nvidea has been doing great at reducing the frime time peaks for multi-gpu setups, bit it's still there.) quad SLI basically means 4 GPU chips. which is 2x titan Z.
Some Guy on a Computer The whole 300 series of cards is such a little improvement from the 200 series it would probably be better to get two 290x cards.
+deirdre no go with 390 crossfire, 8gb of VRAM give you a shit ton of headroom. 300 series are more powerful and efficient than the 200 series, and now the prices are pretty close
The price makes sense, a regular Titan (was) two slots and $1000, while the Titan Z is three slots and two Titans, so it costs twice as much. At the $3000 it (was) that's twice as much as a regular Titan, $1000 per slot taken as opposed to $500 per slot.
LinusTechTips 4:22 Cue a brand new Overkill build guide with two of these things driving triple 4k? Is that not a graphics set up (now quoting your surround build guide) "forged in the fires of Mount Doom"?
Thanks for this video! I've got 1080p surround system, so it's 3/4 of one 4K monitor. Seeing these results, I'm pretty happy with them and I'm going to buy it one day. It's better for me to have one double-gpu card then two sli-cards - it's a question of cooling in my tower and saving some space for additional coolers. Now I've got 2xGTX580 in SLI and I've got smooth gameplay in every game with resolution of 3840x720 (720p x3). It starts giving me lags here and there in 1600x900 x3 and works super slow with 1080p x3 in some games. So I think I'll work hard to buy this titan Z as an alternative to get some smooth fps on my surround system. 1080p is high enough for me.
Linus, is that u, lol... But all jokes aside, $3K for a Titan-Z my ass... NVIDIA's always trying to release "recycled" technology, something to con consumers out their money. Titan-Z tech should've been out instead of Black and at the price of Black. They keep withholding functionality on older cards just to have a reason to release something new. Benchmarks show that I would do better by using 2 Blacks instead while spending less money. I think I'll stick to my GTX680. NVIDIA's starting to become annoying as Apple with the premiums they set for their products.
They recycle technology cause they dont need to make new. They have to competitors. That why the next get 800Series will be on the same Architecture while we already have 750 wich uses the next gen one....
***** $3K a huge markup, let alone performance doesn't merit its cost. Simply, the price doesn't match the tech. Thats why my next upgrade will come from the 900 series [980] since it will be true next gen.
Come on Linus/Wheels: Why didn't you put it together vs the 295x? I don't see Nvidia sponsorship or anything on this video so why not put it against a card that equals it or beats it for half the price?
***** Except Linus already had the 295x and did a video on it (he borrowed it from Austin Evans) Maybe he didn't have multiple 4k monitors at the time but again, we know he had access to the card this just invites "nvidia bias" accusations even if they aren't true.
dimitriid im pretty sure he just borrowed it for a short time for his own channel, even though he does still help ncix, i dont think he uses his own companies assets to help ncix
Oh come on, they're friendlier than "No I wont bring MY review sample for YOUR videos!" Yes he gave it back but I'm sure Luke did or should have written benchmark numbers for 4k when he got the card to bench initially. Maybe not the triple 4k numbers but still.
but then ncix would be using his employees work and even then it would only be for maybe 1 4k screen and 2k. so it wouldnt even be a full comparison in the same environment with the same cpu and such, so the numbers might not even be comparable. and they would have to wait for their own anyways to complete the benchmarking for triple 4k. im not saying hes not letting them use his numbers, its more in the way of you dont use someone elses hard work for your videos, and they wouldnt ask that of linus bc thats just how things are
By the way, I just checked the NCIX canada website and it shows they do have several 295x cards "in stock" So either their site is BS or they couldn't bother to do a proper video
I have the EVGA GeForce GTX 760 SC Edition and I'm very happy with it. I can play every game on ultra at 1080p with fps ranging from 50 fps all the way up to about 90 fps! Cost me about $250 but really...really worth it!
It is worth the money. I mean you CAN get 3 normal titans for the same price, but 3 dual slot cards means there is a lot of space, heat, and noise. Just the practicality of having the 2 GPU's in one card which brings in the option of quad sli if you really want or need it. So yea, that's my small rant justifying the price x'D
I noticed that with my Asus DCU2's. Thing is, when it comes to Double precision, the 780Ti while being capable are extremely limited.. Plus given that the TitanZ clearly competes with the $4-6k quadro cards (k6000) Nvidia couldn't make it so cheap compared to the professional cards that it killed the market.. So, yeah, as Zane Erickson put so nicely, (lol) this card is not just about gaming...
Although, as some others have pointed out (in the nicest ways possible) Nvidia IS marketing it as a gaming card, it comes under the GeForce banner and has geforece drivers.. NOT QUADRO... Infact, After being hammered about the fact, i don't recall Nvidia ever advertising this as other than a gaming card.. still, will be a great entry level compute card
at the moment I am pretty satisfied with: 1080p 60/120hz and a gigabyte gtx 770 4gb. every game I have I run on ultra (maxed out properties) with no issues (like battlefield 4, metal gear solid 5:PP etc...) the only reason I am contemplating a new graphics card is because the oculus rift compatibility check program said my graphics card was underpowered for use with the rift, but now that compatibility check is making me contemplate whether or not I want the rift
Adrian Fjeldahl hey and just so you know, since the titan Z is a dual GPU, there are only 2 physical cards involved. (2 GPUs per card, 2 cards total) so it would perform almost identical to a 4-way titan (1 gpu per card, 4 cards total)
titan z is my dream gpu, I want it in a horizontally oriented motherboard just to show off this beautiful gpu. I don't care much about performance since I'm not going beyond 1080p anyway. One can dream.
Marvin Fernandez dude if you want 1080p there's much more attractive and power efficient cards that are cheaper and will shit all over this one. It was a terrible value even back when it launched.
I want it for the looks only anyway and I would never buy this in its original or even half its original price. Maybe in the near future if this can be had for about 100 to 200$ tops.
The Titan was already overpriced at the same price as a GTX 690. The Titan Z is just adding insult to injury. This isn't a gaming card, folks. You can get two 780tis and run chilled water on them and overclock their nuts off, and still have money to spare. No, the sole purpose of this card is for power users who have been locked into CUDA-software, which is proprietary to nVidia.
For the money, you just can't beat a GTX 760. I know it's nowhere near the Titan Z in terms of power, but if you want to run games at maxed settings in 1080p, which I'd say that 70% of PC gamers want at this time (until 4K is more affordable and graphics cards that can run it are more affordable), just get a 760 or if you want to future proof a bit more, the 780. Great price/performance ratios.
I have a 760, upgraded to a 780 TI Kingpin Edition. Both cards are very good cards. I wish i could use them both in the same system. Id game on the 780 TI, and stream using NVENC on the 760.
for the money, you cant beat the 280x (gasp, AMD!?), its around same price as the 760 and with a much better price/performance ratio. www.anandtech.com/bench/product/770?vs=854 forget your brand loyalty to nvidia, at around $300 for a former flagship card, I know its an old 2011 card, but still its a better choice then what nvidia offers at the same price.
Old Mate I upgraded from an HD 4350 to an R9 280x Toxic for $300. In my case, literally anything is better than my previous card, lol. The 760 and 280x are both very good, and it's a choice whether you want to spend an extra $50 for a 280x over a 760.
***** In other words you have no thing to use to substantiate your point and want to appeal to authority. "its best because i say so because of my experience and/or knowledge."
Gary Grant when i googled that insane resolution yeah it appears so... but he said the titan ON ITS OWN takes 3 slots... thats 9 in total... perhaps more if you dont want them sitting too close (ive heard putting them a bit further apart increases cooling efficiency)... does cases with 9 slots even exist? i have 4 ports and 2 pcie ports... though i still dont know what all of that means... not entirely second port is 2.0 x1 i believe according to the MOBO manual.
supervegito2277 thats a dual gpu card. You cannot run three of these in a SLI configuration without dedicating one to physx. So you can do max 2 of these. No such thing as 6-Way SLI. :)
Olaipai huh thought i saw a video that did that... oh well... thanks though, can you answer these questions as well? (im curious and well this seemed like an easy source now that we are on topic) what exactly does dual video card even mean in reallity? SLI by default? When you run at SLI they say it only takes one of the cards vram to use, which with a titan means half of it for games... why is the other then there? What can IT be used for? seems like a waste to buy a titan then, and a bit of a lie.
Dual videocard is basically SLI on a PCB. Two GPU placed on a PCB. It is basically a scaleable link interface (SLI/XFIRE). The reason for them to exist is most likely due to enthusiast and the "we can do it" factor. Also to obtain the "worlds fastest" title. By making a dual gpu card you more than often try to expand possibilities and reach boundaries within the technology to see if you could improve and or develope something better something faster. I am just makeing a rough summary. So in reality dual GPU cards are milestones made by producer to reach what is possible on a single pcb for the consumer/enthusiast market. Two GPU's with PCB slapped together. There are pro's and cons to it. You could google it or contact me here on TH-cam. As of now VRAM is a little bit confusing. The logical point of mathematics doesn't really apply. 6+6 = 6. But they say 12 as a marketing "strategy". But when DX12 gets released it will be 12 GB. Both VRAMS are getting used, but they do not add up or stack. SLI and CrossfireX usually use alternate frame rendering, also called AFR which makes your gpus draw frames in turns, let's say one draws all the odd frames and the other all the even frames. If calculation that are being rendered in one gpu (2), the variable needs to be passed back to the other gpu (1) in the same video memory location. If both video cards have independent memory management there will be situations where it will accidentally overwrite the data when exchanging data. When it comes to dual gpu cards they are a bit more efficient in terms of schedulers, reserve memory buffers, synchronization to minimize corrupt data and overwrites. But efficient? Nah. Boom, origin of microstuttering. TL:DR; GPU 1 cant access the RAM on GPU 2 fast enough. If it did access it = Overall perforamance would be crippled. Like taking two runners and make them tie each others shoelaces when running. Wouldn't be to ideal. This issue is getting adressed in DX12. So all in all, it is not a lie or a "waste" . Pretty much just bad efficiency / design. Hope that explained it. If I am wrong, I hope someone can correct me. :)
Olaipai That almost flew over my head, it singed my hair... thanks anyways but despite me trying and trying im still not that tall... metaphorically speaking, but i do believe i got the gist of it... still not certain on the whole 12gb issue and hasnt these cards been out before dx12 was announced? wonder if it can be run on any modern gpu (which mine is despite its low number, as it was released in 2014)
I wonder a few things about this card and the game Benchmarked. First is are both cores running at full or are they again tuned down to not exceed energy draw? Like the GTX 590 for example, that one was two 580's clocked down so in the end it was better to get two 580's than one 590, the latter only giving the advantage of taking less space. Also, how's Battlefield 4's SLI support? I bet this card also acts as a single card SLI GPU. So it would be easier to tell if this card is hot or not if the test was compared against a machine with two Titan Black's (poor wallet...) and a larger arsenal of games thrown at it.
You *can* run on 4K and ultra settings and keep framerate at 60fps. You can't do triple 4K. Fuck, YOU console plebs can't even do a single 1080p display at 30fps, so I don't know what you're whining about.
Miles Rout did you even Read my comment ? The guy I replied to Said pc elitists claiming they can run games at 4k ultra and get 60 fps, but the titan Z run 4k ONE screen at max 75 fps so around 50-60 fps while playing..... I Was telling him that we can run games at 4k but not at Triple 4k... why don't you get a brain before replying.
karthik sivadass Because it's made for gamers, being a Gaming card. Nvidia tried to combine the best of both worlds (although they went with the Quadro's price :P) and also intends this card to be used by «CUDA Enthusiasts»..
karthik sivadass It depends on what sort of 3D Rendering and Modelling, are you going to do things at a professional level? If so the Quadro 600 is the best choice. Are you going to do light 3D Rendering and modelling and plan on actually playing some games? Then the GTX 980 is the right answer. Hope I helped!
If I am buying, then, four way SLI with Nvidia 780Ti's. Can the R9 295's go in to four way cross fire? Surround gaming with ultra monitors. Still waiting for the ROG Extreme X97 chip set.
I will not be doing 4k till "a" card can do 60+fps on triple monitors, just how I roll. I have a gigabyte 780Ti OC right now, w/ an AMD 9590 not OC, Asus crossfire V formula Z, 16g of Gskull 2400 trident ramm. 1080p on triple is still fine with me. I plan on triple SLI 780Ti's later and I'm sure that will hold me over for years to come. Digital storm did a SLI Z's and still wouldn't some close to triple monitor 4k ultra gaming.... so I'll just wait another year or two.
Titan z costs about 3000$ and R9 295X2 costs about 1499$ ...... and the performance difference between these two cards is just under 5% that can be easily optimized with driver updates ...... so basically Titan Z is extremely overpriced
Shahe Ansar Interesting, cause my 8350 at 5.1GHZ handled both my buddy's 780 TI OC without problem. I really dont understand why people hate on the 8350 when all you have to do is set core affinities for each CPU intensive program.
+Pu Derrick yeah but in 50 years they will laugh at this and wonder how we ever survived with pixel based screens when they will have hologram everything (can be any size you want) and virtual reality brain implants.
ive always thought storage was boss and king of performance like 128mb or 256 or even 384MB, i was wrong, and this was years ago. streaming proc, memory interface and also clock speeds and memory clock, shader clock. is what really gives performance :) 19 years and still learning. i respect its history
I'll just stick with my 4GB GTX 680 for a couple more years considering a Single Titan Z costs more than my entire rig did 2 years ago. Cosmos II, XFX 1250 Gold, MSI Mobo,16gb Mushkin Blackline, i7-3930k, 240gb Corsair SSD, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, and of course the EVGA GTX 680 FTW.
Sadaki Try using some heavy 3D modeling application without CUDA. 295x2 has no chance. And the 295x2 is liquid cooled and fan cooled. I think the cores would have been like 106 degrees Celsius without that liquid cooling. And for the people who have a lot of money. The price is irrelevant. You don't need any of those cards anyways. They are way to overpowered/priced. The Titan Z isn't just for gaming. It's used for gaming and heavy 3D apps and 3D modeling. 295x2 is made for gaming. Just gaming. That's one of the reasons why it is cheaper. So if you have the money, do 3d modelling and play UHD, go for the Titan Z.
Blubberykollis Blu Actually, the only time the Titan Z won vs the 295x2 in a compute scenario was when it used a cuda enabled program. Any other compute program that used OpenCL, the Titan Z was crushed. :I Well that's the point, the 295x2 is a truly enthusiast card, not a everyday consumer card. And also, don't think that they would achieve such high temperatures because the original cooler for the 290x sucked ass. Try any other aftermarket cooler and it'll be leagues better. So what you are saying is to go for a 3000$ card over something that's actually half the price (You could actually buy two of them and CF 'em). So even UHD is covered by the AMD. 3D modeling is pretty much the only thing that can be considered when going for the Titan Z. Don't try to defend a product that is practically DOA because not a lot of people will shell out 3000 dollars for the experience they could get for 1400$ (dual 780ti's). :I
have they or are they ever going to do a review on the Kepler series GPUs?... out of morbid curiosity I really just want to know if you could SLI them with a Titan Z.
I wonder what is the point of the Titan if SLI would've been better. The Vram is better in workstation use but if there are better Quadro and Firepro cards that are cheaper. What is the point of the Titans? I understand the Frankenstein Radeon R9 290X2 as it's a ~1k graphics card with decent enough vram and 2 gpus. The Titan on the other hand is like a very confused workstation card. Confused which side it's supposed to be on.
William Hendick Yea well no shit, not everyone can afford a single 780ti, I am on about those who have the cash to spend on duo GPU cards. I don't think anyone actually gave a single care about the Titan Z.. Nvidia messed up and now they are trying their hardest to recuperate their losses.
Linux should do. 3-Way SLI 780ti vs Titan Z. We all know dispite deminishing returns the 780ts's win, Would need to be 6GB 680ti's though and I have not seen the price point for these yet
Wait a minute. How did he manage to get 4k 60hz on a triple monitor solution. On one Titan Z? It only have 1x DP 1x HDMI and 2 DVI. I don't quite see how he can get 4k on those 2 DVI, seeing as thats his only option
I wonder what the recording set they have is. Must be a big room, all I could hear is what he said but with a very noticeable echo in the background. not a bad thing its just if you guys did not notice it when editing the video now that I have said it, you might be able to hear it now that I have told you that it is there. Or on the other hand I might just be crazy. lol
Pradeep Xdark They have... just recently they hammered NVidia for power efficiency... that surprised me since when the 290X launched, it was edging the 780Ti but it absolutely cooked itself and consumed more power than a toaster!!! (apparently, the 290X makes good toast when you replace the heatsink with bread and run Minesweeper!!)
I would go with potentially dual gtx titan blacks the reason is with the black edition you now get the raw performance and cuda cores of the gtx 780ti but you get that famed titan 6gb frame buffer that sounds like the perfect gpu for me
I am so sick of benchmark this and benchmark that. games are dumbed down so they can be played on consoles anyway, why are we pissing away so much money on a video card that gets a bunch of frame rates when the games are low scale anyway! I think it is way past time for Nvidea and ATI to invest in PC gaming for us PC gamers only, games that the really use the power of our cards! game that have the world get blown apart like what physic X was supposed to be doing by now BTW. So untill that happens Im not spending $2000 on one video card! hell I would never spend that much on a video card anyway!
But, what about 8k? You don't have any idea what you are talking about if you say all games are designed for consoles you really need to get your shit together
Rarity The Unicorn and he can't do that before he gets his head out of his ass... The difference between Consoles and PC Console... Fixed hardware, fixed quality. fixed everything Desktop. Multiple levels of detail. the main point being here. a console has at best, average quality relative to desktops. Consoles aren't the best device to play all games on Racing, Skating, any non FPS games are great on consoles.
This is the kind of horse shit content Linus is famous for but t9 years later he is trying to make out like he is a serious hardware reviewer. Even though he reviews hardware in the same way.
Slenderzebe gr8 b8 m8 why u wont masterb8. Or u could buy this card if it is your f8. You now the rapper n8 dogg? Well he's pretty gr8. But remember, dont be l8 m8
Spinal2111 still not worth it, 1799 is the price of my pc in its entirety...and I built it myself...like that's still ridiculous for a bump in framerate essentially..
im curious, plz no hate- but im running and nvidia evga gtx770 4gb superclocked, and on bf4 ultra on a 27 inch (or something close to that) tv monitor runs up to 120 fps with a min of 60... why is this better than what they got (not on the 4k) sure its not qhd, its 1080p but still... doesn't it seem like the titan should out preform it at least a little more?
I got 2 GTX 780 direct cu from Asus for 1000 evros, they are quite quiet, boost automaticly up to 1100mhz and almost never go over 80 degrees in my case with good airflov, and the are on par with this monster...for 2000 evros less, only drawback could be 3 gb of ram but when games would really need that much all of those cards would be outdated.
OK, so I have a question. I am thinking about getting a single Titan X or even Titan Z, but I also want to get 2 more monitors. My current monitor is at a 1600x900 resolution, and I want matching monitor with the same resolution. So my question is: can an Nvidia Titan X, or maybe Titan Z, handle games like Witcher 3 and Battlefield 4, plus others, on absolute max settings but with no anti-aliasing (did I spell that right?) with three 1600x900 Screens? Thank you for your help and happy New Year!
+RunHao Thank you for the help. I probably will just buy 4-way SLI Titan X just for the awesome performance. I was thinking about doing the same with 4-way Titan Z SLI, but none of the custom PC builders offer that option. However, this help is still valuable to me (thanks), because if a single 980 TI can handle 3 1600x900 screens, then 4 Titan Xs CERTAINLY will be able to handle such requirements, even with absolutely maxed out settings on all games and maybe even some sort of AA (I heard that it REALLY lags out computers, that's why I'm worried about it). Still, thank you for the help.
+dennik55 i know that you could plug all 3 monitors into either card but probably not all max settings but with the Titan Z will probably allow you to have higher settings
I need to know if it can crunch RED Epic 5K footage at a decent framerate in Davinci Resolve. Test not only games but actual work related programs like Premiere, After Effects etc
i have Titan-Z and want that it support 4K real time playback in after effects for RED 4K R3D RAW files, how to do that? or does my video card can support 25 fps playback in 4K Full resolution for 4K R3D RAW files in After Effects?
Hello! I have a GTX Titan Z card which I bought 4 years ago. The problem is when i enable the multi-gpu all the games slow down with a flickering effect and is unplayable. But on applications such as gpu rendering using VRay, it rendered much quicker than when multi-gpu was disabled. But if i disable multi-gpu, the VRay rendering time is more, meaning slower but games load without the flickering and is more responsive. Any idea to what is causing this?
hey just wanted to ask a question sorry if it's stupid so I was planing to buy 2 titan Z for a price of 1500 for both would that be efficient enough to run 3 4k monitors and plan games at 60 fps I have i7 skylake qaud core cpu with 16gb ddr4 ram and 2 ssd for the OS also is that a good deal for 2x titan z cards
I would like to know your opinion concerning a doubt. I have a core i7, ssd Samsung 840 evo , 8 gigs of ram, nvidia 660 TI graphics. My OS is windows7 64 bits. I work in video editing, and even when I'm working in HD, my pc is not enough to consume 4 gigs of ram. my question is: if I buy 8 more gigs, it gets faster, or stays the same since it neither consumes 8 gigas already have? Thank you.
I watch things i cannot afford.
+anson huang guys your better than this no one needs this who cares even the worlds top gamers who actually need to this don't have it plus video games are sorta like drugs obsession, additcion, ruins your brain so yeah gamers will go to hell and u guys be good and grow up and get good jobs
+MO IS COOL ANDAWESOME are u high?
Luke Schroeder no im low plus drugs suck
+anson huang same here with the same gpu.
2gb version
If you can afford triple 4K gaming, you might as well actually go out and buy a jet and a tank, and smash them into each other.
This is not GTA
+Patthon Sirilim math
+Patthon Sirilim Sadly even 2 980 TI's don't quite stack up too that thing..... but they come close, and as if 4k gaming is ready for the public yet.
It's amazing that the GTX 1070 is much better and also much cheaper. 4 years ago I never expected to be able to own a card better than a Titan Z.
Xdddd true. And this thing is basically useless now. :p
Brayden Wilkes as far as i know the titan z is as good as the 1080. So its better than the 1070
Crafttrooper definitely not! The 1080 is way better performance wise. And in every benchmark I've seen, the 1070 is on par or better with the Z.
it is not better you idiot, 1070 has less CUDA cores than 980!!!
Izio Shaba CUDA cores don't matter when comparing between different architectures. (Maxwell/Pascal)
Hmmm, seems good, but the real question is......can it run Assassin's Creed Unity on 240p medium settings with AT LEAST 20 fps?
nope 144p only if you want atleast 3 fps
jeffrey1296 why do you guys act like unity is so unoptimized.
Ray Ward Steady? Now we know you're lying.
yea a bit of an exaggeration, it does drop to high 30's sometimes.
Ray Ward HA! silly boy!
Nvidia. Let's get one thing straight. *1+1 DOES NOT EQUAL 3 !!!*
***** #ramgate
***** #wat
Nvidia is being rather compassionate in this case. In corporate america, 1+1 usually equals 8.
That moment when you realise this GPU has more RAM than your whole system....
Well I have 32 rams and if i see a gpu with 64 rams ill kill myself
+Autism Is Funny gtx titan x has 12 gb of vram
lol i was about to say wait what i was wrong i just looked at the Titan X
Lol right and i cant wait for the x124 bit architecture to come out :O will be amazing asf
what would the x124 be considered ? quantum computing ? after all it would be really fast and amd is testing with light based data transferring
It's 2023 now, and it's crazy how much the tech has improved. Let's see how much more they improve in the future.
Am I the only person on earth still content with a single 1080p monitor for gaming?
***** What?
101m4n I think 1080p is unnecessary, actually. I'm perfectly content with my 19" 1440x900 monitor (I've got two, but games obviously only use one)...
That Epic Doge Of course I could afford a 1920x1080 monitor if I wanted to, but why should I bother? Mere rage is hardly a reason...
101m4n yes cause once u go 4k theres no going back!
ro67nj but the problem is its impossible to run 4k ultra @60fps ATM in every game
I absolutely love the way this card looks. It just screams power (and pricetag)
Linus: "Hello Echo."
Echo: "Hello Linus."
If I just had to spend 3000$ on graphics alone --> Two r9295x2 s.... for sure.. ! That would easily destroy this bad boy !!
But not for compute. I guess that's where the titan z is aimed at, not gaming.
Kunal Bhatt im new to this but what is open cl?
Devan Saladeen open gl is the counter part to direct x, so... its interface between the hard and software :)
Oh ok thanks
i have one and i still love it. it works well for all my games (gta iv) gta v emulator watch dogs, etc). downsampled, supersampled and on one monitor which the only place you look at when you play a game anyway... also very good for opengl. float point and number crunching. love it..
How did u get GTA V Emulator? :O
He loves it not because it's worth loving, but because he has no choice but to think it's lovable after having blown $3000 on it.
glad im talking to you haha. ill shall call you my brain :)
can't get anywhere with a negative mind^
Guys he is calling GTA V Emulator a mod called VIIV here: gtaforums.com/topic/697393-iv-viiv-levelsgta5-for-gtany/
The official name is "Ultra HD" or 2160p. "4K" is just a marketing gimmick.
no one cares. "ultra HD" sounds gay, what will 8k be Ultra, Ultra HD? 4k seems more accurate and it defines the monitor better.
It's called 4k because it has roughly 4000 horizontal pixels (3840 to be exact). If anything the phrase "Ultra HD" sounds far more like marketing Jargon.
bob james there are other horizontal pixel options too for 4k monitors/tvs
bob james The term 4K is actually a recording term as raw footage recorded for film was recorded at over 4K horizontal pixels and was then down-sampled for bluray.
Tuukka Taira That's true, but they are all roughly 4000 horizontal pixels and the standard is 3840x2160.
i really dont understand 4k for gaming.. 1280x720p is good for me and 1920x1080p looks fantastic. I can see 4k for Televisions and Theaters
Tech is always getting better, staying in the past isn't always a bad thing but you can't stay in the past forever
Well the price of it is always going down I agree with you on most parts, though I do think that 4k gaming will become a thing in less then ten uears
yea, 10 years isnt a bad guess there victor ;)
GPUs will have to evolve as well.
even sli on 2 titan z's wouldn't do it, and would be a RIDICuLOUS pricepoint zs well.
as for now, even the price hike from 1080 to a 1440 screen is too big for my liking so... no 4K for me for a while :p
so triple 4k displays was a goal back in the days?
I have a 960, and I can run new games on ultra. Ok, I don't have a 4K display, but FullHD 120 HZ is enough for me.
Good to see another person running 960 strong :D
i got 960 too :D
Yea! 960 Army!
+Michi Lo 90 ssc 4gb is such an underrated video card.. plays anything i throw at it at ultra, 144hz no problem
+Michi Lo Yeahhh woooo 960 FTW.. Oh wait.. Does 960m count? xD
I'd be interested in seeing LTT try this concept again, but with SLI 2080ti's.
can this handle minecraft on 1920x1080? :-7
Maybe... Thats a very intense game dude
ChopStickSamurai Minecraft? bitch please my potato with .01 ghz overclocked can run Minecraft. Try some real games like Minesweeper even on Low graphics and in windowed with me Anti-virus off i only get like 1/2 a Fps.
unless you were trolling
The jokes are fucking stupid and getting boring already.
Sorry for the novel but just some food for thought.
wait so this means that a 4 way sli with this card will basically be 8 way sli? am i right or am i wrong
wrong, it's already "2 way sli" currently, hence you still get the increased frametime peaks etc. (I know nvidea has been doing great at reducing the frime time peaks for multi-gpu setups, bit it's still there.) quad SLI basically means 4 GPU chips. which is 2x titan Z.
A single card is 2 gpu's for sli, 2 cards is 4 gpu's for quad sli, no such thing as 8 way sli.
Kirara Kurokawa I think you meant 12 grand
MazdaBass971 yet
Sir Delta oh ok thanks
here's an idea ... buy two 780 and rest of money tune your car or take a vacation ...
But I hate SLI :(
780ti ...
# r9 295x2
HoRzeNTarI nope
***** do you miss uncle ben ?
I wonder if AMD will make a Titan Z killer or a Pascal killer.
The 295x2 can easily beat this
deirdre What about Crossfire 390x?
Some Guy on a Computer The whole 300 series of cards is such a little improvement from the 200 series it would probably be better to get two 290x cards.
deirdre Thanks, I'm still new to AMD
+deirdre no go with 390 crossfire, 8gb of VRAM give you a shit ton of headroom. 300 series are more powerful and efficient than the 200 series, and now the prices are pretty close
The price makes sense, a regular Titan (was) two slots and $1000, while the Titan Z is three slots and two Titans, so it costs twice as much. At the $3000 it (was) that's twice as much as a regular Titan, $1000 per slot taken as opposed to $500 per slot.
are they doing this vid on a warehouse? dat eco
fix your speakers
sk88boarding
actually my headphones are really good, that's why i hear the eco.
what headphones do you have
Straight up
I noticed it too, the whole video had the eco on his voice.
not sure the point in AA on a 4k monitor
Maybe this will be low end in 20 years.
20 years
+Average COD Player
lol 20 years?
It is already rivaled by the $650 980 ti and 970 SLI
maybe 5 years.
+navid617 You buy the titans for their absurd frame buffer that their other cards do not have.
+Matthew G nah i think it will be outdated in a year without a doubt. Everyday Computer processors and GPU increase in performance and speed.
But the real question is....can it run Minesweeper?
Yep at 2 million Fps haha
Did you get it?
I could afford this!!!
... In about 10 years.
+Ethan Roy how about you can afford something much faster for $599? or a 1070 for $399
+Harry Byrne Please send money.
+TheCasualCT He's just bragging thinking 3k is a lot in this world
Envy boo hahahaa
+TheCasualCT the 1070 is no where near as powerful as this dude.
Yep mine too. As they said they will use the new tech (Like 750) on 900 series so i will wait another year or two
***** have a 750Ti, it overclocks like a champ and hits way above its weight class
andersw14 It may OC like a champ but it stil doesn't even compare to a 780.
The card should be $2500 at maximum
what is the best geforce graphics card today?
Gtx titan x or gtx 980ti
+she succ me r5 230
***** no
***** r9 295x2
***** it is a dual gpu though
my two 780 ti's rival the performance of this in 4k and were almost half the price wtf ?
Oh so you're rocking them triple 4k monitors huh?
Do your cards have Double precision floating point capabilities? No? Well there you go. This card is not just about gaming.
I believe two titanz are better than two 780 ti.
I would use 2 R9 295X2 (1200€ each) instead of one TITAN Z ^^
at the moment I am pretty satisfied with: 1080p 60/120hz and a gigabyte gtx 770 4gb. every game I have I run on ultra (maxed out properties) with no issues (like battlefield 4, metal gear solid 5:PP etc...)
the only reason I am contemplating a new graphics card is because the oculus rift compatibility check program said my graphics card was underpowered for use with the rift, but now that compatibility check is making me contemplate whether or not I want the rift
Imagine 4way sli
you want to end the world?
tonton9598 Lmao
Adrian Fjeldahl hey and just so you know, since the titan Z is a dual GPU, there are only 2 physical cards involved. (2 GPUs per card, 2 cards total)
so it would perform almost identical to a 4-way titan (1 gpu per card, 4 cards total)
Da Bpark Yeah, but it's not like 2 won't be enough anyway xD
it takes 2 to run minesweeper so 4way slit sounds optimal.
Im happy with my dual gtx 680 and my 1080p screen.
1280x1024 screen, Radeon 5450 for me. Oh yeah, and a pentium
Get some 750 ti's
+saloalv someguy pentiums are still cool if you over lock and have the sticker XD
SonicBoomMusic lool i never use the stickers, i like my case clean.
And i am just shitting here with Core 2 duo in Macbook Pro
What a great laptop.. I called it, lappie
+Yahtadi Shidiq Lulz
titan z is my dream gpu, I want it in a horizontally oriented motherboard just to show off this beautiful gpu.
I don't care much about performance since I'm not going beyond 1080p anyway. One can dream.
Marvin Fernandez dude if you want 1080p there's much more attractive and power efficient cards that are cheaper and will shit all over this one. It was a terrible value even back when it launched.
go for 1080 ti.
I want it for the looks only anyway and I would never buy this in its original or even half its original price.
Maybe in the near future if this can be had for about 100 to 200$ tops.
Jan Holdinar if you look at the thermals the 295x2 doesn't go above 60 degrees Celsius
"overclock their nuts off" made me laugh. Thank you for the laugh and the insightful comment.
Id game on the 780 TI, and stream using NVENC on the 760.
for the money, you cant beat the 280x (gasp, AMD!?), its around same price as the 760 and with a much better price/performance ratio.
www.anandtech.com/bench/product/770?vs=854
forget your brand loyalty to nvidia, at around $300 for a former flagship card, I know its an old 2011 card, but still its a better choice then what nvidia offers at the same price.
Now that i think about it 760 is a waste
So it looks like you have to buy a card for each UHD monitor for the best performance.
Gary Grant when i googled that insane resolution yeah it appears so... but he said the titan ON ITS OWN takes 3 slots... thats 9 in total... perhaps more if you dont want them sitting too close (ive heard putting them a bit further apart increases cooling efficiency)... does cases with 9 slots even exist? i have 4 ports and 2 pcie ports... though i still dont know what all of that means... not entirely
second port is 2.0 x1 i believe according to the MOBO manual.
supervegito2277 thats a dual gpu card. You cannot run three of these in a SLI configuration without dedicating one to physx. So you can do max 2 of these. No such thing as 6-Way SLI. :)
Olaipai huh thought i saw a video that did that... oh well...
thanks though, can you answer these questions as well? (im curious and well this seemed like an easy source now that we are on topic)
what exactly does dual video card even mean in reallity?
Olaipai That almost flew over my head, it singed my hair...
thanks anyways but despite me trying and trying im still not that tall... metaphorically speaking, but i do believe i got the gist of it... still not certain on the whole 12gb issue
and hasnt these cards been out before dx12 was announced? wonder if it can be run on any modern gpu (which mine is despite its low number, as it was released in 2014)
I play on a PS4 but I cant help but salivate over how much better PCs are! I should build one...
So much for PC elitists claiming they can run it on 4K and Ultra settings, and still keep framerate at 60 FPS
You *can* run on 4K and ultra settings and keep framerate at 60fps. You can't do triple 4K. Fuck, YOU console plebs can't even do a single 1080p display at 30fps, so I don't know what you're whining about.
Do You even listen its 3 4k Screens -_- Please dont post Comments with out HEARING! the video.
InfiniteZ3RO You can't do triple 4k at playable FPS even with a titan Z. Did YOU listen to the video?
Miles Rout
did you even Read my comment ? The guy I replied to Said pc elitists claiming they can run games at 4k ultra and get 60 fps, but the titan Z run 4k ONE screen at max 75 fps so around 50-60 fps while playing..... I Was telling him that we can run games at 4k but not at Triple 4k... why don't you get a brain before replying.
You can with about three 780Ti's two R9 295x2's. Titan Z is a waste of money.
Titan's are not for gaming, you can game on them, but they are made for graphics development
Though they have GeForce Drivers instead of Quadro ones and the marketing made for them only talks about gaming.
so why its not called a Quadro Titan z ..why 'GTX' Titan Z ?
karthik sivadass
Because it's made for gamers, being a Gaming card. Nvidia tried to combine the best of both worlds (although they went with the Quadro's price :P) and also intends this card to be used by «CUDA Enthusiasts»..
i m really stuck between weather to buy GTX 980 or quadro 600 ..can u suggest me .. which one will be better for 3d rendering and modelling.
karthik sivadass
It depends on what sort of 3D Rendering and Modelling, are you going to do things at a professional level? If so the Quadro 600 is the best choice. Are you going to do light 3D Rendering and modelling and plan on actually playing some games? Then the GTX 980 is the right answer. Hope I helped!
isnt a 780Ti faster than a titan? so wouldnt 2 780tis be faster than this titan z?
Yes
Yes however the vram is a severe bottle neck for the 780Ti so that is also something to consider
Than a Titan? Yes. Than a Titan Black? No.
Well, a 780ti is generally better for gaming, but in other tasks a Titan is miles better.
Radeon R9 295X2 or Titan Z ? :3
Titan z costs about 3000$ and R9 295X2 costs about 1499$ ...... and the performance difference between these two cards is just under 5% that can be easily optimized with driver updates ...... so basically Titan Z is extremely overpriced
Also, it has AMD's mantle which will be extremely helpful as none of today's CPUs have enough power to handle 2 r9 290xs or 780tis/titan blacks
2x R9250x2 = 1 titan z lol
bbull71 for price but not performance
Shahe Ansar Interesting, cause my 8350 at 5.1GHZ handled both my buddy's 780 TI OC without problem.
I really dont understand why people hate on the 8350 when all you have to do is set core affinities for each CPU intensive program.
20 years later, maybe someone will laugh at this card because it is so big.
In 20 years people will laugh because it can barely run new releases lol
In 20 years people will laugh at it because it can't even run Crysis 6 at Lowest settings on 8 8K monitors.
In 20 years people people will have forgotten this card like a toilet paper used and flushed.
+Pu Derrick yeah but in 50 years they will laugh at this and wonder how we ever survived with pixel based screens when they will have hologram everything (can be any size you want) and virtual reality brain implants.
that is medium in todays standards
Wait, this gets beaten by a 1070?
It's an old card.
I'm confused, but the 1070 can't handle triple 4k..?
Jacob Powers No card can
+Jacob Powers It can handle it, but it won't give you a good gaming experience. ><
Like it can physically output it, but that's about it.
ive always thought storage was boss and king of performance like 128mb or 256 or even 384MB, i was wrong, and this was years ago. streaming proc, memory interface and also clock speeds and memory clock, shader clock. is what really gives performance :) 19 years and still learning. i respect its history
I'll just stick with my 4GB GTX 680 for a couple more years considering a Single Titan Z costs more than my entire rig did 2 years ago. Cosmos II, XFX 1250 Gold, MSI Mobo,16gb Mushkin Blackline, i7-3930k, 240gb Corsair SSD, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, and of course the EVGA GTX 680 FTW.
this or AMD R9 295X2?
The 295x2 is stronger, cheaper and better cooled lol.
the AMD card is much much better.
remon kewl maybe
Blubberykollis Blu
Actually, the only time the Titan Z won vs the 295x2 in a compute scenario was when it used a cuda enabled program.
ECHO O O O O o o o o o o
I only heard the echoes from their recent videos but their past videos didn't have echo
jmu599 They changed studio
TheDudeWithTheBoomStick oh.. okay that makes sense :D
TheDudeWithTheBoomStick
inside a bathtub?
titan z is not a single gpu linus... is a dual gpu
is a titan Z slower than 2 titan X SLI?
Oh yaahhhh. Definitely
The Titan z is slower then one Titan x...
+Felipe Kauer Specs on Nvidia say it all. However i am wondering if this GPU will preform well in BOINC? The Price has come down...
+Felipe Kauer I guess your even richer then the Z team...
+K4zzo one titan z is still faster than 1 titan x
My single EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC+ runs BF4 Ultra 4K with 50 FPS. And that's just one GPU!! Shows how tech is progressing
haha I'm sitting here with an amd a6-5200 and an nvidia gt610. wow.
gt 315, bitch!
That's sad :( I wish nvidia would give out 750tis to you guys or something.
***** well the 750ti can do that too! A lot of them don't have any power connectors. Dat maxwell efficiency doe bro
Joseph C wassup bruh r9 255
That Epic Doge Intel i3 integrated graphics,Biatch!
I just bought a 980ti to play counter-strike 1.6 at 800x600 :l
best setting :D
U w0t m8... really?
Lmao I have a 750ti and I'm here playing csgo with a crapy small monitor around that resolution.
I need to buy a new one fast ;-;
True JRR I actually bought a 27" 144hz monitor, 800x600 has never looked THAT good :D
BxPanda7 lmao this christmas i need to get a bigger moniotor
So, 1080p it whoops ass... 4K is like trying to make a Honda reach 3000mph.
im fine with 1080 for next 5-10 years....can you do test on that ?
have they or are they ever going to do a review on the Kepler series GPUs?... out of morbid curiosity I really just want to know if you could SLI them with a Titan Z.
I have that gpu and i enjoy it 😂
NenadGames FTW how much did you pay for it??
$3000 for titan z
still get beated by $1000-2000 r9 295x2
and its still expensive, I'm wondering why the price hasn't dropped
cause there still idiots in this world..
beaten by gtx 1070 450$+
Titan z is not for gaming. Compare your r9 in render time
+OrionnEntity (late)
'its a fastest graphic card ever built'
-nvidia employee
$3000 card can’t run triple 4K displays
RTX 3090: laughs in 4K rtx triple display at $1500
It only took 7 years
I wonder what is the point of the Titan if SLI would've been better.
But with the same price we could buy three Titan GTX black, but are those three in SLI much more powerful than a single Titan Z?
Do you take kidneys as payment?
I wish...
you dont need your legs to game u can offer them as well :P
btw kidneys go for 40k $ on the black market ))
fLaNeLiT I'm gonna bye 13 of these and a 780 Ti!
lol time to sell a kidney
Who was hyping it?? two 780ti's is what I think everyone wants to see..
Correction... 2x 780ti SLI is what everyone wants to be able to afford.. haha
William Hendick Yea well no shit, not everyone can afford a single 780ti, I am on about those who have the cash to spend on duo GPU cards. I don't think anyone actually gave a single care about the Titan Z.. Nvidia messed up and now they are trying their hardest to recuperate their losses.
for this price u can get 3
Linux should do. 3-Way SLI 780ti vs Titan Z. We all know dispite deminishing returns the 780ts's win, Would need to be 6GB 680ti's though and I have not seen the price point for these yet
The GTX 790 will come by somewhere. The question is will it be two 780s or two 70tis
2020
Wait a minute. How did he manage to get 4k 60hz on a triple monitor solution. On one Titan Z? It only have 1x DP 1x HDMI and 2 DVI. I don't quite see how he can get 4k on those 2 DVI, seeing as thats his only option
I wonder what the recording set they have is. Must be a big room, all I could hear is what he said but with a very noticeable echo in the background. not a bad thing its just if you guys did not notice it when editing the video now that I have said it, you might be able to hear it now that I have told you that it is there. Or on the other hand I might just be crazy. lol
only massive idiost buy TITAN Z...... look, in 1080p and sometimes 1440p the 980 Ti is the same.... totally overpriced
Ikr even a 960 is just as good
yeah no massive difference between them
Dont forget that itll basically never be outdated its insanely ahead of its time
that's true thou...
This is mostly a workstation card. video editing etc
This gpu is such a joke now lol
Aaaaand... AMD beat this card in 4K gaming with the R9 295 X2 XDDD
+ThEcRaZ3dGaM3R surprisingly AMD's been killing nvidia in a lot of ways '-'
Pradeep Xdark They have... just recently they hammered NVidia for power efficiency... that surprised me since when the 290X launched, it was edging the 780Ti but it absolutely cooked itself and consumed more power than a toaster!!! (apparently, the 290X makes good toast when you replace the heatsink with bread and run Minesweeper!!)
that's something new :v i didnt know it ran that hot XD but the whole DX12 thing is giving AMD a better edge right now
ThEcRaZ3dGaM3R You are totally right!!! For 700-ish dollars that card kicks the titan x/z in the ass,and nobody notices it...
+gyorgy komaromi
I do!!
i just got no money fucks sake
How do you hook up with 3x 4K display with only single display port on Titan Z? Are these 4K display running with 60HZ right?
Rarity The Unicorn
and he can't do that before he gets his head out of his ass...
The difference between Consoles and PC
Console... Fixed hardware, fixed quality. fixed everything
Desktop. Multiple levels of detail. the main point being here. a console has at best, average quality relative to desktops.
Consoles aren't the best device to play all games on
Racing, Skating, any non FPS games are great on consoles.
Aaron Ameer Beg Or, you know, just buy a xbox controller and play those games on Steam or Origin.
You take that back!
Steam yes.... but Origin is terrible...
Aaron Ameer Beg Origin isn't as good as steam but they are good. You don't know what you're talking about.
This is the kind of horse shit content Linus is famous for but t9 years later he is trying to make out like he is a serious hardware reviewer. Even though he reviews hardware in the same way.
It is what it is, he's still funny though.
$3000 isn't worth it at all.
4500 in norway m8
Slenderzebe gr8 b8 m8 why u wont masterb8. Or u could buy this card if it is your f8. You now the rapper n8 dogg? Well he's pretty gr8. But remember, dont be l8 m8
Zotac version on sale right now for $1799 on nicx.com - not a bad deal from $3500
i cant buy it so l9 m9 . I have to mastur9
Spinal2111 still not worth it, 1799 is the price of my pc in its entirety...and I built it myself...like that's still ridiculous for a bump in framerate essentially..
im curious, plz no hate-
but im running and nvidia evga gtx770 4gb superclocked,
and on bf4 ultra on a 27 inch (or something close to that) tv monitor runs up to 120 fps with a min of 60... why is this better than what they got (not on the 4k)
sure its not qhd, its 1080p but still... doesn't it seem like the titan should out preform it at least a little more?
I got 2 GTX 780 direct cu from Asus for 1000 evros, they are quite quiet, boost automaticly up to 1100mhz and almost never go over 80 degrees in my case with good airflov, and the are on par with this monster...for 2000 evros less, only drawback could be 3 gb of ram but when games would really need that much all of those cards would be outdated.
I run EyefinityDS 3200x900, my displays can max out at 3480x1080.
I love this set up the most.
where i can find some comparing test about TITAN Z vs RX VEGA 64?
Wow, how much am I really missing out on with my GTX 750 ($160) and 19 inch screen?
OK, so I have a question. I am thinking about getting a single Titan X or even Titan Z, but I also want to get 2 more monitors. My current monitor is at a 1600x900 resolution, and I want matching monitor with the same resolution. So my question is: can an Nvidia Titan X, or maybe Titan Z, handle games like Witcher 3 and Battlefield 4, plus others, on absolute max settings but with no anti-aliasing (did I spell that right?) with three 1600x900 Screens? Thank you for your help and happy New Year!
I would also like to add that with Witcher 3, I would use that hair thingy (Hair Works is it?), so please consider that. Thank you.
+RunHao I appreciate the help, but can a SINGLE Titan Z (or Titan X) handle the above specifications?
+dennik55 i know that you could plug
all 3 monitors into either card but probably
not all max settings but with the
Titan Z will probably allow you to
have higher settings
WTF
I need to know if it can crunch RED Epic 5K footage at a decent framerate in Davinci Resolve. Test not only games but actual work related programs like Premiere, After Effects etc
@ 1.22 You state it's more than 24megapixels, however your text overlay suggest it is less than (not Greater than) 24 Megapixels
i have Titan-Z and want that it support 4K real time playback in after
effects for RED 4K R3D RAW files, how to do that? or does my video card
can support 25 fps playback in 4K Full resolution for 4K R3D RAW files
in After Effects?
Voltronic Gaming Not sure if troll or just stupid
I would like to know your opinion concerning a doubt.
I have a core i7, ssd Samsung 840 evo , 8 gigs of ram, nvidia 660 TI graphics.
My OS is windows7 64 bits.
I work in video editing, and even when I'm working in HD, my pc is not enough to consume 4 gigs of ram.
my question is:
if I buy 8 more gigs, it gets faster, or stays the same since it neither consumes 8 gigas already have?
Thank you.
