I had an older load king. It was 1000 lbs lighter then my other and dumped cleaner. Nothing ever stuck to gates. Guy borrowed it week later offered me cash 2500 more then I paid years earlier for it. I know from experience stay away from companies that don't have experience building these friends of mine are having trouble keeping gates sealed and oscillating plates cracking. On 2 different brands.
Observation. All the US pictures and film I have seen show longitudinal gate/doors on US spec belly dumpers. This leaves a windrow of metal requiring a grader. Why does US use this style? In New Zealand all the belly dumpers I have seen are lateral discharge. This leaves a job like an end discharge tipper/dumper. You don't need a grader to level things.
