It actually goes way further than that, doesn't it? You can build several models of turret (a fully automated weapon system) without any help. But even if you have all the relevant parts of a single specific type of firearm - a receiver, a grip/stock, a magazine, a barrel and a sight - you cannot for the life of you fashion a complete weapon from it. You actually NEED to replace similar parts on a complete weapon of the same type, after which you STILL have enough loose parts to create an entirely new weapon. In fact, provided you have the relevant crafting perks, you even have the ability and control to create completely NEW parts, but you STILL cannot assemble them into a complete weapon, which should in fact be much easier to do!! THAT makes absolutely no sense to me, whatsoever! Thank god there are mods for that! XD
It's cool. I'm on a pc and use some mods, though not many (Mostly Scrap Everything which makes it easier to get materials) Watching your building guide was also very informative, especially the part about using the up and down arrows in building mode. Saves tons of time. Also just seeing what you did with Finch and Abernathy gave me ideas to go beyond what I was going to do.
@@knicksprop if you need materials just download the cheat room mod. There's a room with 65k of each material in each container, and there's LOADS of containers

If you dont want to deal with raiders at lynn woods get on top of the tower and turn on the siren This will summon a deathclaw which will shred anyone beneath you just sit back and watch the show
At the Ironworks, when the boss in power armor is talking. you can run up and drop a bunch of landmines at his feet which will arm but will not explode. Then run down and talk to Jake and if you put enough mines down 🤗

I'll give you the same advice that I gave another TH-camr just the other day. All TH-camrs should strive to be unique. No need to follow in anyone's footsteps. I mentioned that in the shout-out video as well. The initial branding of a channel is very important. So you always want to shoot for something new and original from the start. Something that will set you apart from the rest. Otherwise you'll always just be second fiddle to another channel. It's like holding onto a rope attached to a truck that's speeding down a dirt road. All you get are clouds of dust. And if you finally manage to get to your destination, you'll feel like you're covered in dirt and you won't feel like you drove there on your own. Better to be in the driver's seat and drive down your own road. Know what I mean?

Lockpicking is vary easy for me it may take a lockpick or 2 but I can wip a master lock open and novice locks sometimes you just swing it open without doing anything
I have only 3 but have all the the options to build. But not only with Picket Fences. I seem to have lost issues from all sorts of editions from Grognak to Tattoo. Even went back to the original locations and they were not there. Either it's a PS4 bug or I sold them somehow?
They're stored in your miscellaneous tab. But that's just if you want to decorate with them. The bonus items were already added to your building assets when you picked them up. :)

How do I build with concrete? I was hoping that an issue of Picket Fences would unlock concrete building, but I guess it doesn't. I'm using ps4. Is concrete only available with pc or xbox? I'm on my 4th playthrough and I have no idea how to make things from concrete.
Pretty sure concrete building is gained thru dlc content....tho im not sure which of the 4 grants it. Read up b4 buying off the ps4 store maybe is the best idea

The one that unlocks high tech lights is from Hardware Town. Make sure it has been read and not just picked up.

Issue #3 was stuck UNDERNEATH Slag for me, and bc he is in power armor I had to blast him with my minigun till I could grab it
Do you need to keep the magazines on you when building? Or can you store them?
