I can’t believe Ed Bradley has been gone this many years! I loved watching his interviews for many years. He was one of the greats for sure! I loved his interview with Mohammed Ali & his wife. I loved how she played the straight man to Ali’s pranks. Ed suspected he might be “putting on”, but she dispelled any apprehension Mr. Bradley might have had, therefore lulling him into the perfect trap that Mr. Ali then sprang on him. Ed’s laughter was so genuine & infectious. He couldn’t believe that they “got him!”.😂
Such pure, clean fun they had with him! Those days of innocence died with those who were best at it! They are sorely missed!😔😭

Edward Rudolph Bradley Jr. (June 22, 1941 - November 9, 2006). He died on November 9, 2006, sixteen years ago. Some commenters think he died today. Oy vey. Bradley was diagnosed with lymphocytic leukemia in his later years, keeping the illness secret from many, including colleagues such as Mike Wallace. His health rapidly declined after contracting an infection, but Bradley continued to work, saying that he preferred to die "with his boots on." Bradley filed 20 stories in his final year with 60 minutes, conducting his last interviews with members of the Duke University lacrosse team accused of rape weeks before his death. Bradley died at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan on November 9, 2006, at the age of 65.

This was one of my favorite TV shows on Sundays at 7 pm. I can't forget Andy Rooney he had always had something funny to say at the ending of the show. And the last time I saw him on the show it was when he said goodbye for the last time. And within a week or two I heard the sad News of his passing. I don't remember all the names of the people who hosted 60 minutes for years But I do remember Ed Bradley, Leslie and Andy Rooney and other people who filled in at times like Copper.
I love to watch 60 minutes because they give the most important news on things what is happening in different places in the world, that the local news doesn't report on.
