Only by acknowledging that there is a God, can we hope to make sense of human existence, the world we inhabit, and, paradoxically, the problem of evil.
But if God is goodness personified and therefore, as our Creator, the divine source of all that is good, true and beautiful, why is there so much evil and suffering? What has gone wrong? The Christian answer to that question, the Bible says, is that our world has been damaged by rebellion against God. An originally good creation has been spoiled.
If you find this hard to believe, consider the evidence. Look at all the many examples there are of benevolent and intricate design in Nature: the nest-building instincts of birds, the incredibly complex structure of the human brain, the navigational systems of bats and whales, the biological software of DNA in every cell of our bodies, sexual reproduction, etc. All this exists side by side with harmful viruses, disease and death. Can its obvious implications be ignored? Consider, too, the significance of the fact that human beings possess an inner moral code they cannot get rid of yet seem unable to obey. Does all this not suggest some process of deterioration from hopeful beginnings? Is it not also significant that many ancient peoples and cultures, including the Chinese, have some tradition of a lost Paradise in the dim and distant past?

The thing most people don’t realize is that Stingers hold their value EXTREMELY well. I just sold my 2019 RWD Stinger GT2 for $37,669 last week with 14,300 miles on the odometer. I bought a brand new 2021 AWD Stinger GT2 fully loaded for $45,000 the same day. That is just crazy value for that kind of money.
They already have Stingers doing the 1/4 mile in 11.16 seconds at 122+ mph with stock turbos and internals. $1,000 worth of parts gets you 4.0 0-60 mph and 12.12 1/4 mile at 116+ mph. That is a whole lot of car for that price.

As an owner of a 2018, two things to note.
First, You get this for power... and comfort. My modded KIA is well above 500 hp, but if I put the knob to "comfort", it's an absolute comfort ride.
Second, unlike the Germans, the Stinger is an absolute sleeper. For example, add a jb4 and you can get a crazy 100hp extra just by swapping the sparks and using good fuel. Add in a Mando controller (it's the brand as the suspension itself) and you get a less bumpy, more comfortable, yet also more aggressive drive.
You HAVE to tweak your Stinger it if you get one, or else you're missing out.

  • @HellzHonour

I’ve had my 2019 Kia Stinger GT 20th Anniversary Edition for 1.5 years now and have put on over 80,000km. Got it lightly used for only $39k CDN. There are a few random sunroof creaks/rattles that happens from time to time, I have to agree. The ride and handling can be further improved by installing a Mando ECS10 device which adjusts the suspension dampening to 100% capability and as a result, it’s now more comfortable and firmer with the switch of a setting.

I had a Cerato GT and the red stitching on the seats really made the interior look great on that car. I have the black Night Sky edition with the light grey seats. Black piping and black GT badging on the seats would have really set it off. I wish they did a similar job on the Stinger. The one thing I would have loved is fog lights on the Stinger and a rear window wiper.

These are interesting cars, but I can't help but think that many people think it's a revolutionary new type of vehicle with a type of powertrain configuration (Twin-Turbo V6 AWD) that's not really been done before...and they would be incorrect. There was a grossly overlooked/under-appreciated vehicle like this 10 years ago. A vehicle that came with an emblem that stood for Super High Output. 😎

I was a huge fan of the Stinger(almost bought one just over a year ago), and the G70 by extension. Given the option, I would take a Stinger over most any other domestic made car. Offer me the keys to a Stinger or a CT5 and I'd go with the Stinger. Lol I wrote this before I got to the point in the video where you mentioned the Caddy.
But I'm not a fan of the side on the new Stinger, and I'm disappointed about the loss of the 4cyl in Canada.
I'm not a fan of the digital gauge cluster. It's more complicated, and a symptom of a problem that I find not with cars, but with drivers these days: they say they want a pure driving experience, they cry over wanting manuals... but they don't buy manuals, and they want all the self parking, lane keep assisting, adaptive cruise control that a manufacturer can jam into a car. An analog cluster keeps it simple, and draws the driver to be engaged in the act of actually driving.
The Stinger is still a great car, and who knows, I still may end up getting one.

I've had my '22 w/Scorpion package (for you Canadians, the scorpion package was an appearance package with paint, carbon fiber bits, and a rear wing available for the GT2 AWD) for 2.5 years now and have had zero regrets. I did install the ECS-10 right away because the stock suspension tune was way too soft (the Mando suspension controller corrects ALL of the driving dynamics flaws the car in stock form has), but other than that the car was great.
Two and a half years later, I've had precisely zero hatch rattle, zero sunroof rattle _except_ on very hot (90F+0/32C+) days, no annoying rattles, creaks, or squeaks have developed, the center console feels sturdy, and zero* problems. All the things brand snobs said would happen as this car ages, hasn't happened, and I do not drive this car gently.
    * zero problems _except_ I've had to replace the starter battery due to aftermarket accessories (dashcam with parking mode, multiple GPS trackers) but that one problem wasn't a Kia failing but user error. To help reduce deep cycling the replacement battery I installed a 50# solar panel to keep the battery topped up.

Just to add some perspective, as an owner the only thing I can complain about is the creaking that Thomas mentions near the end of the video. This car is perfect for me and what I was looking for. I cross-shopped the 4 series gran coupe due to price but I was looking for something more A7 or Panamera in character. There are options in the stinger like cooled seats that I couldn’t get in the bmw. Coming from a 10th gen civic hatch I really liked the lanewatch camera and now I’ve got the same thing on both mirrors now. It’s bonkers quick, fun to drive, quiet (except for the creak) and comfortable, and you can’t beat the practicality of the hatch space. The adaptive cruise and lane keeping is awesome too for highways. It’s not totally killer in gas either, I get between 25-27 mpg on my 70 mph commute and I’ve seen 31 mpg for a trip. The dark chrome against the ascot green is hot and sophisticated imo. Everything in the car is super simple and intuitive to use. If they made the 2.5T with all of the options from the GT2 that’s probably what I would have gotten but I cannot complain with the power and the sound. Very happy with it.

If it's still possible to buy "new" 2018's/19's for around 34k, I think I'd go that route. Not enough updates, especially in interior tech, to warrant full dealer price on a new one.

Yeah my local KIA dealer has about four leftover NEW 2020 Stingers and one 2019 (it's a demo but still being sold as new). I don't even think they have any '21 or '22 models on the lot since nobody is buying what they have. Not bad cars, but over $50k for the GT2 is probably the biggest reason why KIA sells almost none of these things. Too overpriced (for a KIA) for most people I'd bet

Regarding the infotainment system, in the new Mercedes S class the huge screen has 3 sections: guage cluster, map and functions plus infotainment in the middle and an entertainment screen for the passenger. The system detects your eyes and face and if it catches you looking at the passenger screen too much, it turns the screen off due to distraction and safety issues. The Tesla model S has a landscape screen now too and has rear screens as an option. The Tesla's computer that controls everything is a super computer which will shame Xbox, Sony Playstation and your most powerful home gaming computer.
