@@Guest2022_ so I have to be fully transparent, the car is beautiful and drives the same, but it also comes with some common annoyances like rattles and squeaks. The dealers all seem to different from each other, for instance the first service was amazing no issues. But this second service at another location is a nightmare. Some people have no issues at all, but the quality could be better for the price point. Still an amazing car and value proposition IMO. Engine and drivetrain seem very solid which is why I’m here.
I’ve now owned my 2018 GT2 RWD for about 2.5 days and I’ll say this…. Coming from a 2010 Genesis coupe, the GT2 is a world of difference!!! I would highly recommend a stinger to anyone potentially in the market for a nice 4 door performance vehicle!
@@damianlou9617 I got mine with 50 miles on it for $43k. I would ask for a detailed history of it. I wouldn’t want one that came from someone like me, if that makes sense. I recommend you watch my JB4 install video and check them two red wires for small pin holes, I wouldn’t want one that was JB4 tuned etc. but so far the car has been really reliable and I’m impressed. Just do your research
@@jerryqin4459 depends on if you modify it of course, power and drivetrain feel very strong in this car, even with the way I have it set up, it doesn’t struggle or act like I’m hurting it. If you keep it stock, I wouldn’t worry as it has a killer warranty. After 100k long term I’m not sure, it is a performance car so I would expect things to break. Kind of hard to answer this one honestly.
I have a forte GT which is like a stinger junior lol, but I love it man, hardcore Chevy person and I’ve been impressed by Kia! There slowly restoring the rep!
@@twn2rbo The only way I can can describe it is comparing it to the sound of a Ferrari that low growl but when you mash on the gas comes alive. I'mma tell you one thing though if you going to mod your stinger you need a jb4 or a custom tune My car was throwing codes and I couldn't figure it out till I asked my brother he works as a mechanic for Kia and he said because of all the extra air coming in that was throwing everything off and putting my car into limp mode which sucked JB4 solved that problem.
@@rane7189 hahah same here bro! Ye I did the intakes and had no issue, then I put my MBRP cat back on and I kept going into limp mode, even after the HKS plugs, didn’t fix it. JB4 fixed alll of it, haven’t had an issue since 💯🐝
Bought my wife the kia carnival for the kids and that is when I really noticed the Stinger. About 2 months later got a 2020 GT1 RWD and fell in love. Then upgraded to the 2022 GT2 and just can't get enough of it!
I’m in the process of getting a GT2. I’ve always loved the look of this car. And it could be more powerful than my skyline for very few bucks! A bit heavier…but I think this is one of the most underrated sportier cars ever.
Picked up a 2019 StingerGT 3.3L AWD last April - and lovin' it. No intentions of mods...keepin' it bone stock. In my late 50s, got nothin' to prove lol. Good review. Odd you didn't get the sunroof included. That's one feature I love most.
Congrats!! Yeah I couldn’t pass on the deal and the red interior/ black combo I fell in love with it. I agree, the platform is great bone stock and has PLENTY of power. I just enjoy networking with the Stinger community- great group of peeps! If you ever have any questions let me know, would be glad to help!
Nice! You got one before the market fuck up. How much did you get it for if you don’t mind me asking? I’m debating on waiting for the bubble to pop and just grabbing one a year from now but I’m tempted to grab one now.
@@aliisbeastin yessir! My last 3 Lexuses all had sunroofs and the stinger sunroof is sick! I didn’t mind loosing out on that option for the deal I got though. Usually after a few months I get bored
Great to hear. I will continue to post the hood as well as the bad. So far, I’m impressed with the car, defiantly the performance. Thank you for your support 🤝

This car being discontinued is the most upsetting thing for me coming out of the car world in a long time. How in the hell does this car not sell? It’s incredible!
I agree! I just dropped my car off at the dealer and I asked the salesman and he said that they are not going to discontinue it. I also just seen a 22 Stinger Gt commercial. I haven’t read Kia make the announcement, but reliable sources say it’s getting the axe due to low sales. We will see!
@@twn2rbo I’m afraid it’s a certainty my friend so enjoy yours. Last year I was set to purchase one of my own but last second went with a Challenger as I had always wanted one. With that said I was never more surprised and thrilled after a test drive then after my first drive in the Stinger. I always figured I’d circle back around to the Stinger but sadly I’ve missed my chance. It does live on in the Genesis G70 but nothing proves to me more that the car market is truly dead then the Stinger not selling. Very sad
Yeah anything is possible right now with the EV market taking massive strides. I was just offered 3k over sticker, which is a first in any car I’ve owned after 10k miles. If it does get axed maybe simple supply and demand will drive up the value. Who knows. Enjoy my follow gear head 👊👊
Great Review. I bought the 2021 GT1 right after the 2022 came out. I love it. I bought a 1984 Maserati Biturbo in ‘84 and feel the same way about this car. Different in a good way and loves to be driven hard. The all wheel drive keeps it from getting sideways like the Biturbo but you can really push it and it grabs. Kudos Kia. Too bad they stopped making it. 4dr hatch is so convenient for my photo business.

2020 gt1 rwd owner. Almost 20k miles. Its a great car. Its not perfect, but with a few bolt ons I am very happy. First thing I did was the eibach sway bars. The eibach sway bars are way stiffer and cleaned up the body roll and turn in is much sharper. I have a set of ark lowering springs. 1" drop, factory spring rates, so that should help settle a bit more. The brakes are kinda shit. Stop tech Pads fixed 90%, I have stop tech rotors on order. I did catback mbrp stainless exhaust which sounds good and is a lot more fun. The bms pedal tuner is the most recent add on, better throttle response in comfort mode. Coming from a bmw its not 100%. But considering the price of a comparable vehicles v6 panamara, 440i, a7 etc i don't mind ironing out a few bugs. The warranty doesn't hurt the price of kind either.
Nice build man! Agree , Ark makes great springs and I’ve been considering them as well. The wheel gap drives me crazy and needs dropped just a tad. Air bags would be cool too for the option to lift up when coming in steep driveways etc and ride quality
Just got my JB4 in w Bluetooth Installed in my 2022 AWD stinger 2 . 3Ltr 700 miles 1. Borla exhaust 2. K&N cold air intake 3. BMS blow off valves 4. Eibach springs 5. Indoor ambient lighting 10. Blackvue front rear dash cam
Nice job!!! You are a little ahead of me on mods, but I want to do the same. I’ve had a love for carbon fiber since I was 19. I just got the carbon fiber paddle shifters in from K8 along with the Dragy and Mishimoto oil catch can. I want to do a carbon fiber spoiler on back too along with tasteful but not too much carbon fiber. I have a vision for a blacked out stinger with dark gloss carbon fiber. Stay tuned!
@@shawnp4714 absolutely, I use to think catch cans were stupid, but I’ve researched the GDI direct injection engines and they are a must. I’ve seen 20 ml of oil and gas build up in only 5k miles. So without it, you will get a bunch of carbon build up on the valves resulting in a loss of power. Significantly
Totally worth it. I have the 2022 Scorpion edition. It may be expensive but you get more bang for your buck. One thing I noticed, the 2022 stingers have dual LED bars for headlights but they kept the same single LED bar for the special edition.
Heck yeah! I love the Scorpion and the wing that comes on it. I prefer the head and tail lights on the 18-21 myself, but the interior of the 2022 is hands down better. More lighting and infotainment screen is way better. Mine was only $43k though, so I would say worth it for sure! 😄 I got the car dead in winder right before they announced they were going to do a refresh for 2022 , but I will say I am loving the heated steering wheel.

I just wanted something different. I always enjoyed Lexus personally and Kias quality is not as good tbh, but it’s good enough and the design and horsepower are much more advanced for this car. Lexus IS350 was pretty quick for a natural aspirated car. I have made some other videos if you want to check out the performance a little more. That’s what excites me the most!

As a previous Lexus IS250 AWD owner i totally understand what you mean IS isnt the fastest car but i loved everything else about it and my mom still drives it to this day :)
Congrats! Yes, this car requires premium, putting a lower grade of octane in will actually decrease your MPGs and you will feel less power. Forced induction performance engines really need it
As a Lexus and Infiniti and Kia owner myself, I can say that Kia's are good cars, but no matter how nice they are, they just don't measure up in quality as far as the interior goes. They do have amazing styling though and just keep getting better with every generation.
I couldn’t agree more 💯💯💯. I’ve yet to own an Infiniti, but it’s just top tier Nissan so I’m sure they are very nice as well. I found a tiny little pin point hole in my dash board from what I assume was my GoPro falling off the windshield, with that said, the quality of the dash material can be punctured very easy.. of course that my fault, but still worth mentioning
lexus is suprisingly lagging in tech though. when i cross shopped my 2019 stinger i went into a lexus dealership. checked out a couple cars. no android auto? really? the lexus salesperson was really embarassed. infiniti makes nice cars but they seem to have fallen off the radar somewhat. all the excitement seems to be around genesis these days.
@@TMS5100 oh yeah! Don’t even get me started on their infotainment systems.. lol. They have that quality and sound build / reliability and brand prestige so they won’t be going anywhere soon. I agree, they have rumored it to be ending this coming year. The G70 with the 3.3TT will most likely stay as it outsells the stinger 3:1. They are in a weird sport since everyone is going EV it seems. Regardless, it really is a great car and a blast to drive. I’ve had a lot of cars in the past and that new feelings wears off after 3 months or so, but not with this one. I still look forward to driving it and get really excited to this day
I agree the brand deter buyers. But at that price and with many manufacturers moving to electric, I doubt there is anything better than a Stinger. I just put an order with Kia, got to do it before Kia discontinue the Stinger
Agree, I just finished editing a POV review video with the new GoPro max lens mod. The editing it a lot better now that I’ve made a few vids 👊. This Sunday at 11 am est

Every day I get compliments on my AWD Black Stinger. Just today alone, my neighbor sees me driving out of my driveway and stops to compliment the look of the car. Then off to the carwash two guys there give me the Thumps up signal. Then off to gas station to fill her up, the guy at the next gas pump says, damn that's a nice car, then as I pull out of the gas station and stuck at a traffic light a man drives his truck up next to me rolls his window down and says I noticed your car, is a Maserari? I said it's a Kia and he couldn't believe it. He said the Maserati dealership is down the street and the Stinger looks like one. I was curious so I drove there and the Maserati salesmen comes out and says to me that's a great looking car. All this in the afternoon with my Stinger.
I have had my AWD Stinger--white 3.3TT just over a year nd not a hiccup.I also have rented Audis for business trips and the Stinger feels like an RS5 at 95%.BTW the AWD system in the Stinger is fantastic. It will rip a 4.2 to 60 at the public drag--and it will get you thru a blinding rainstorm without a hiccup.I even had to drive thru the remanants of one of the tropical storms--it had rained and was still raining after 24 hours--1 or more inch of standing water on the road and i was going the speed limit with no problem while others had hazards on and some were even pulled over.I am an ex muscle car owner that got tired of the reliability problems--dealer treatment--and my last car was a honda.Reliability became a priority after the joy of owning a Honda that never went into the shop--or to take it in for an oil change and they find 1k in shit/sensors etc wrong with it.These are fantastic cars for the money--and I also have folks compliment the car. Many on the stinger forum/clubs are also ex BMW M--MB--and Audi porsche owners that also got tired of money pits for cars.No car is fun if it is in the shop--or if when it goes to the dealer they find stuff wrong with it.
@@khronin couldn’t have said it better myself man, yeah the BMW and Audi look awesome, but they use a lot of plastic parts under the hood that break often and are ridiculous to have the dealer replace or fix them. Thanks for the great vlog, i just put my order in for a scorpion in blk w/red leather like yours, just one question, just found out today KIA will stop making the stinger in 9 months, would u still buy one if you knew they will discontinue this car and model??
Thanks! Yeah I would IF they do. Kia Motors has yet to make an official statement, but a lot of sources are claiming this due to lack of sales. If they make that official, the price may go up due to supply and demand. There is a huge aftermarket support for this car and will continue to be available for mods. Also, this car is quite easy to work on. The Scorpion is sick!! 🐝💨💨
2019 gt2 bought used with 15k miles. Paint is thin and soft, a lot of chips for a car with that many miles. Steering wheel had a creaking sound but somehow i fixed it by removing the steering wheel. Other than that, everything is flawless. 😁👍 car is amazing!
My paint is peeling off the front skirt.I already talked to them about it and it is unacceptable.I ceramic coated the car--myself--every 4 to 6 months (and I bought it new and keep it clean) and after a frost last winter it just slowly peeled off the bottom.Paint on the rear trunk and the skirt under the doors also weak--I have some places that you can see marks that will not come out.Other then that--which is minor to me--so far so good.Car seems to be close to the last Honda which i owned--which was a crosstour and that car looked --and every part was just as tight--as the day i bought it 10 years ago--which i traded in on the Stinger.

As a 2019 Genesis G70 owner, I don't have the issues that you mentioned regarding the turbos. I currently have over 63K miles on my Genesis G70, I purchased it April 2019. No problems so far. They are almost the same car. I already have a large sedan (2012 Hyundai Azera), so I chose the Genesis G70 because it's a smaller vehicle. Kia did an amazing job with the Stinger. Should bring you years of enjoyment.
That’s awesome! I’m finding that some people have similar issues, but asking around so far only 3 people have had this issue, while some people have had some issues that I haven’t experienced etc. They did a great job on the G70, their sales out performed the Stinger significantly with the same engine platform. Good news is Kia provides an amazing warranty and that the issue I’ve reported is not detrimental, more of an annoyance.
Thanks 👊 The E badge is how the cars come in South Korea. The one on the hood is a genuine KIA emblem. The one on the steering wheel is actually the same as the one on the hood in Korea, but this one is oval since it’s an overlay. The E stands for Engineering of Excellence according to Kia.

Great Vids mate!! Got the 2022 on order in Oz over 6 month wait 😢 Question does the built in kia voice activation control climate, radio seat heating cooling? No one has ever done any videos on it. There is no literature anywhere if you could do a quick vid on what it does control that would be awesome cheers 👍
ROJAC, I have the 2020 GT here in Sydney. Mine does not have voice activation and I have not heard of voice activation for anything. The only time voice activation works is when I connect my android phone via a usb cable but that only seems to control request for navigation, text messages etc. I must try it to see if it does anything else. Hope you get yours soon as they are amazing cars and I love mine.
1. Vents could look better 2. Wider body into production 3. Rear could look better in proportion. 4. Interior could look better 5. More improvements in performance to match German cars Hopefully one day Recently Hyundai umbrella of companies seem to be on the right path
Congrats! Absolutely. The intakes were my first mod and it started everything. It will make the driving experience 3x better. However, your mpg will decline slightly and if you add an exhaust your chances of overboosting will increase, to optimize it I would add a JB4 with some plugs. The over difference is insane and the car will actually run better. Depending on your foot and octane you run, the mpg will slightly increase. But if you just want to add intakes, you won’t have any issues besides wanting more mods. The sound is 👌
My biggest gripe and i have this car too is that you can't open the hatch from the inside. That should not be something that you can only get on the GT2. I honestly wanted a GT1 as it offers the most bang for your buck. But the GT got me having to deal with the annoying sunroof rattle that I hear owners complain about. Also, the apple carplay not being wireless is just a universal thing. However, there is a dongle to gives anyone wireless apple carplay. Whats funny is that I thought the car was quiet asf when driving cause i came from a Corolla and that thing was loud loud! Good review! One more note when it came to the paint. Before I pulled the trigger I did a lot of searching and the very first thing I did was get a partial PPF and did a ceramic coat. Been solid ever since.
Right on! Yeah the ceramic helps, I think peoples main complaint is how thick the paint was applied from the factory and that they have to take steps and spend money to keep it from chipping so easy :/ overall I think it’s a great car for the money, some minor annoyances
The older Stingers with bigger screens were swapped out, that is a possibility I’ve researched, but Kia announced their new infotainment system for the 2022 model 😀. www.google.com/amp/s/www.edmunds.com/amp/car-news/updated-2022-kia-stinger-gets-more-power-and-style.html
I will eventually, next in line are the oil catch can, I’m at 7k mi on odometer and that’s way over due, then JB4 log video and 0-60 with Dragy. But, I will do one. In the meantime one of my videos shows where I have the amp installed, the main box where I tapped in is to the right - it’s going to be hard to explain on here so if you not in a hurry, stick around. That would be a helpful video and thanks for the suggestion. I love car audio and the stinger is amazing for it, 150 amp alternator and the battery is right by the amp and it’s a hatch! Perfect combo for a flex monster!!! The 2 12’s are overkill tbh, the Sundown X8 tuned to 34HZ is sick! Smashes lows
Right on! Yeah esp the AWD, she’s a big girl. But man the inside of these things are huge. I’m going to do another review video at 1 month, I feel I left a lot out. I also want to do a POV vid. Thanks for the positive comment, we need more people in the world who can not like something fully and be respectful like you. Have a good one bro! 💯💯
What's up from Canada! I'm driving a 21' Stinger 3.3T with a JB4 up in Vancouver. Just found your channel, you got yourself a subscriber dude. Couple questions at the @15:13 mark it almost sounds like a BOV. Just confirming, your intakes make that sound!? Those are the Injen short ram intakes, yeah?
Welcome man! Glad to have you!! We have a similar setup , what color you have? Yes! That amazing sound is from the Injen Intakes I got from the K8Stinger store.
@@twn2rbo Wow, I think I'm going to have to get myself a set of those, they sound amazing. Think that noise alone might be worth the extra couple hundred the Injen cost over the AEM intakes. My ride is Ghost Grey. It was initially my 2nd choice, but it's really grown on me and it's my fav color now.
@@PremiumPIus Injen is higher end, but to be honest, you will get that sound from any open air intake like that. They all flow really good! Oh and that’s ceramic silver here, but that’s my fav color on the stinger! Congrats man
Great review! I am in the final "playoff" between a GT2 and a Giulia 2.0T. Both 2018. I think the GT2 is more plentiful, but I was worried by the road noise comments. I need a good (comfortable) highway cruiser. Coming from BMW 430d (very efficient but kind of zero emotional appeal - at least to me...)
I feel ya, the little rattles are pretty easy self fixes. Have you test drove one yet? I love how it cruises on the highway, feel like a sporty big body without the harsh ride, the GT2 even has a better suspension than the base GT
@@twn2rbo Thanks for the reply. No chance to test drive it... I live in Portugal and "eco" taxation on big engines is a killer. Stinger is available as a special order only. I think I have a unique chance to buy it used directly from KIA (KIA director's corporate car) but the car is in another province (and I feel I have to move fast on this one). I think I will risk a "blind date"... I have a manual gearbox SLK350 as a daily driver and that's great fun on twisty roads. But for long trips with the wife it's not even thinkable. I like the fact the Stinger is a bit heavy. In my experience a bit of weight and a long wheelbase bring better highway steadiness and comfort. And from what I hear, the GT still behaves decently on B roads. And the looks...? To me it has a bit of retro look! Kind of a modern Jensen Interceptor... Love it!
@@peacefulrelaxation1982 the dealership never does anything unfortunately..I’ve also had issues with my parking sensors also, they tend to go off randomly when I sit in traffic (dealer says KIA is working on an update) blah blah blah…
@@roshadbutler7477 appreciate it, I wish I had the Napa, but it’s still very close and feels great. The Napa comes on the GT1/2 I believe, much thicker and more stitching , it’s absolutely gorgeous
Like you, I also got into a Stinger from a 3rd gen IS350. I like this Stinger better. Might not age as well or be as reliable at 10 years old, but it brings more thrills and feels more hardcore vs the Japanese vehicles. I’m a Japanese car guy, but it seems like they are content selling profitable SUVs and hybrids, won’t invest in performance cars sadly.
Couldn’t agree more. Japanese cars in general (Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus) , ones I’ve owned and have experience with, are engineered for reliability first. My first car was a 95 civic ex 5 spd with a D16z engine and it was so bullet proof , I was so hard on that car it was insane and it never broke. That made me stick with Japanese cars all my life and Lexus being my pinnacle. I took a shot on this Kia bc of its killer warranty and rave reviews on the engine and drivetrain after modding it death, it seems to hold up well, I will keep all of you informed on what breaks or when it breaks. With my mods it will only be a matter of time, but I knew that going in. Appreciate the comment bro!
Yes indeedy! It actually frustrates me; Lexus IS my favourite make and I want to own a Lexus, but can’t bc of bad infotainment, old technology and high prices, plus when I had my IS, the ventilated seats did not get cool enough vs Ford vehicles and our Stinger. The Stinger is better in every way. My dream attainable car is still the LC500 for that V8, but for now, it’s the Stinger, and I think it’s good for us cars guys that as we get more economically successful in life, to try diff car brands. I laugh and have a grudsging admiration for Toyota that they can still sell out 4Runners ever year even though it still has a 5 speed auto in 2022. 😂
@@forevr_8 I agree, Toyota needs to invest more in their design team, they seem to be 100% focused on reliability, which isn’t a bad thing, but car enthusiasts want more inside the cabin. They did make a bold move on the Lexus grills, but that was a decade ago now. They could be silent and release some sick EV cars, they do well with the hybrid tech but all the auto manufacturers are going to go where the market moves which looks like EV now. I’m sure they will provide some all new looks along with that. My dream Lexus IS the lFA v10 with the exhaust tuned by Yamaha piano Corp. one of the best sounding v10s I’ve ever heard. As my channel grows, I would love to set a goal for a Japanese twin turbo like the GT-R. Who knows. I applaud the Germans for engineering the most horsepower per liter, but their reliability and cost to fix turn me off. If I went German it would have to be brand new with a good warranty. I like to hear you have goals bro! 💯💯💯
Unfortunately it got discounted, but the same company sent me a prototype for review is is allowing me to do a giveaway, it’s much more secure and easier to reach , but I’m not a big fan of it covering the vents in portrait mode 😅

Hey, how do you think of the reliability of the stinger for long term ownership?
@@jerryqin4459 depends on if you modify it of course, power and drivetrain feel very strong in this car, even with the way I have it set up, it doesn’t struggle or act like I’m hurting it. If you keep it stock, I wouldn’t worry as it has a killer warranty. After 100k long term I’m not sure, it is a performance car so I would expect things to break. Kind of hard to answer this one honestly.

All these years I thought it had a trunk. I was thrilled to learn it actually has a liftback to give it more SUV-like cargo handling versatility.

Great Review. I bought the 2021 GT1 right after the 2022 came out. I love it. I bought a 1984 Maserati Biturbo in ‘84 and feel the same way about this car. Nice! I just got Gt2 awd too. Quick question, do you put premium gas in yours? And. If yes do you see difference in the power?

They are in a weird sport since everyone is going EV it seems. Regardless, it really is a great car and a blast to drive. I’ve had a lot of cars in the past and that new feelings wears off after 3 months or so, but not with this one. I still look forward to driving it and get really excited to this day
Great video bro. Im considering getting one this fall. Im still trying to decided what year and trim level. Leaning towards the year 2022 GT1
Same here dude, let me know what you decide. Wanting a GT1 or GT2 2020 and up!
Black with red interior best color combo
Right on! Yeah I’m in love with the interior, looks amazing in person. I will say the ceramic silver that looks like nardo grey is sick too, but I haven’t seen one with red interior
@@twn2rbo sad. Stinger will be electric in next model.
Also i remember, when the honda nsx the new model first came out. They had mass stock of the honda nsx, noone wanted a electric supercar.
Fast forward 2021 alot of people have bought the nsx. Ever since “everyone is talking about going electric”.
@@airforceone6523 I may adapt to an EV in the near future for a second or daily, but nothing beats the sound of a good V8 or some twin turbos screaming. I think I’m out lifetime the true car enthusiasts will prefer petrol for that reason. I do love the instant torque of electric motors and 0-60 times, but that’s about it.
This is so much better than those dealership videos
My 2021 GT Line comes in on the 6th, and I can’t wait to test drive it. Same red interior too.
Nice! Congrats to you 👊
I love my 2020 stinger gt line going to make some mods little by little... maybe one day ill have a scorpion 🦂 to

I was holding off doing mods to the car but you’ve convinced me!!
I’ve got the 2021 model which is the 2022 where you’re from. I’m from Australia so we have it already. Best car I’ve ever owned, now to book the shops and get cold air intakes, stage 1 tune and exhaust 👌🏻
I’m excited for you! Very nice! They did a great job on the upgrades for that year. You guys have the white/clear corners on the headlamps over there right? I think that looks so much better. I wouldn’t have done the amber deletes if I had them 👊👊
This feels like my best friend is telling me about their car. Awesome dude
I want this Stinger gt omg I love the red inside and in the engine
Thanks! Yeah I will have to admit, when I called up there to go see it, they just got it in and didn’t have pics of the inside. When they opened the door and I seen the red for the first time , I got prettty impulsed 😂
Great video.. was always a fan of KIA stinger (minus) the rear lights :)
ThNks bro! Yeah a lot of people are split on the refresh for the 2022 tail lights. I favor mine over the new ones personally, but I like the interior of the new ones more.
I know this is an old video but how is the audio system stock? I know you put an after market sub in the back but if you wanted to leave the sound system stock how would you rate it?
Stock sounds absolutely phenomenal and if you go with the HK in the GT1/2 trims it’s even better, you can go full blast and it will not distort. Great sound system overall

Great car!, depending on your use for it, I would go with the AWD in the Midwest ❄️ 🧊 If it’s just a play toy, the RWD would be pretty fun
Great video. I checked the pro clips site and they do not show a holder for the Kia Stinger. Can you link it?
Hey buddy! ProClip recently reached out to me and said they were redesigning the clip. Once they do, I’m going to get one and review it compared to this one. This one, is ok, but they and I are having issues with it staying in place. the magnet is so strong, that the clip can come out of the dash at times. Hasn’t fallen off on any launches though, but it’s still a flaw. I’ll update the channel as soon as they contact me.
Beautiful Stinger. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
Appreciate it 🙏 thanks for watching it!
Brother 6'7" Wow. Don't mess with that dude!
Love it!! Heck yeah bro 😎, my best to date was “Is that a one of them Porsche Panameras?” At tha gas station 🤣
Wtf
A lot of people I know got rid of BMWs for that reason alone, always broke or always have a light on. Kind of goes against the saying “you get what you pay for” . I will give them Germans credit for getting the most horsepower per liter and looks. I’m glad they had a hand in designing the stinger, but love the stinger for the warranty it comes with and so far, very reliable! I got 4.4 secs at the moment , but there are many variables. I’m shooting for a 4 or 3.8 sec on this channel. I want to go WMI and TCU tune eventually depending on how the channel grows !!! Thanks for the comment bro
@@twn2rbo I am going back to the track in Sept and will put the videos on here.I think some of the stinger club in GA also might meet so hopefully we have a good video.I am also trying to get 4 seconds flat--I have a helmet now--and I will use launch control on one run.I ran my 4.2 by powerbraking at 1500 RPM and did a 12.7 in the 1/4 mile (no launch control) and i only went about 90% cause I had no helmet on and you were not suppose to break 13 seconds--gonna wait till it is cooler out--Stingers run very good in cold weather.

Agree, Thanks for sharing that bro! The more info the better 🤙 I know they had to sacrifice some things for the price point.
@@khronin I’m considering a sick wrap, something in between ceramic silver and nardo grey or a matte color. That will help protect the paint as well. But yeah, they don’t put the best quality or thickness on that’s for sure. Beautiful colors though
The paint seems to be an issue on all their cars. I had a stinger and had paint chips and now my cadenza has paint chips.
@@jaylee4546 yeah they are cutting costs in the wrong place, I’m sure Kia will be raising their prices along with their standards as they continue to reinvent themselves.

How does yours have the E badge? I can't find any online with that badge
They come that way in S Korea, you can order the E badge through Kia OEM parts or at your dealer
Great video and car! Why does the emblem on the steering wheel look like the letter E?
Thanks 👊 The E badge is how the cars come in South Korea. The one on the hood is a genuine KIA emblem. The one on the steering wheel is actually the same as the one on the hood in Korea, but this one is oval since it’s an overlay. The E stands for Engineering of Excellence according to Kia.

@@horschj Great question. If you get a GT, the trims offered all have the 3.3tt. I highly recommend you get this. The car is well balanced and nothing to be afraid of. It’s a GT so it wears a couple of hats, on sport mode WOT its a monster, in comfort mode, it’s just a nice cruiser. With that said, one gets use to power VERY quickly. 5. More improvements in performance to match German cars
Hopefully one day
Recently Hyundai umbrella of companies seem to be on the right path
Just bought a 2019 stinger .Are those turbo intakes worth it? They look great but do they improve the overall experience?
Congrats! The sound is 👌
anybody doesn't have one....you should get one this car is a beast. see it for yourself better than germany junk
Love my 2023, old dude that likes performance!
Fellas replacing stock rims an wherls on 20 gt1 stinger thinking black or like a matte grey an ideas?
Nice! :) Thinking about upgrading from my Proceed GT 2020. But the tax here in sweden for the first 3 years is not so fun... (if u want a new one) :/
Heck yeah! I’ve been seeing those on my IG feed. They have some AMG style lines 👊👊 Stinger GT is fun no doubt.
Some of the older ones have bigger screens as well not just the 2022s

Love it!

This is honestly my dream car this and the charger Hellcat
Set that goal and go for it!
Stingers aren't that loud on the inside, it's just that Lexus put a lot of sound-deadening in their cars if that's what you're used to.
