They can’t take the anime being criticized. Gege only wrote this for the sake of writing the anime. It had zero depth and the only thing that’s even carrying the anime is the good art and cool fight scenes. Gege on,y wrote it never to expand it…he even said he was inspired of Naruto and probably wants to make a shippuden like manga. Gege writing JJK is a big “Fuck you” to all his JJK fans
I disagree about the disaster curses being handled bad, but man Gege fumbled so hard. The Gojo kill was so goofy too. I think a couple other points are kinda nit picky, but the series has so much potential and shat the bed so hard
I went through all of the comments and the JJK deffense squad presented exactly ZERO counterarguments. Not zero good ones, just non at all. They sure have thrown insults around a lot tho.
Fans living in delusion has been getting worse and worse ever since attack on Titan ended. People lose the ability to think critically about things they like so easily nowadays.
I like how when nobody can actually prove you wrong by counter arguing its all the sudden..."You didn't read the manga" "you're opinion is wrong" "put the fries in the bag" i bet nobody even watched the longer video without a subway surfers box in the middle
Saying this as a huge jjk fan, the fact that almost everyone here can only insult you/make fun of you instead of defending or making any actual counterarguments is crazy lol. Good video bro
Gege really rushed the ending we aint getting (Shinjuku arc is mid only gojo vs sukuna fight carried) 1. Sukuna Backstory 2. Heian Era Flashback 3. No aftermath of Yuta in Gojo's body 4. Kashimo vs Uraume Fight 5. No closure of Nobara's true status 6. No Merger 7. No showcase of Sukuna's other weapon
1. Sukuna is Sukuna he does not change, he is a menace, always was a menace and will be a menace until yuji shows him some love next chapter 2. People complain about the sukuna cycle, but they want a heian era flashback where sukuna spammed 2 special grade cursed tools to wipe out everyone, and don’t realize that what happened in the heian era is this arc but sukuna won 3. Series isn’t over, yuta fell over 2 chapters ago have some patience payoff does not happen in 2 chapters that’s shit story telling 4. You don’t even got their names right 5. Is hinted at in the last chapter maybe wait and even if she does show up her fucking head exploding with and injury that isn’t healable uncles you sukuna like tf she should stay in her grave 6. The requirements for the merger was sukuna winning the battle which will probably never happen unless you want him to win I guess, but we literally see the merger happen near the end of culling games, it doesn’t need to happen it’s what the jjk squad is trying to prevent 7. If sukuna had that other weapon he just would have won, plain and simple kamutoke would have not been taken by higaruma and sukuna wouldn’t have boxed anybody but instead spammed lighting strikes
i’ve always felt this lol the shit is HORRIBLE and genuinely could have been one of the greats too but it focuses tm on hype rather than fleshing out it’s ACTUAL story i feel like the author literally j makes shit vague to drive hype or suspense around a topic only to never Fuckin explain either that or explain it horribly
i think if the merger and the nature of cursed energy were explained, this series couldve been something special but unfortunately, i always knew akutami wasnt built like that
@@dekuopioids i think some characters could have been good too makis dismantling of the zenin clan was out of the love she had for her sister she wouldn’t have done it had it not been for the wishes of her only sister but at the end of the day it falls flat it feels like it was pointless
things that in my opinion had no reason to exist in the final fight: yuta switching bodies with gojo just to do a hollow purple that literally got off-screened and thus doing no damage angel's maximum jacob's ladder also doing absolutely nothing, even if you can argue that it is a weaker version, there was no reason for it to exist at all if it didn't even do evident damage, it could've at least separated megumi with sukuna, even if megumi won't contribute that much to the fight at least he's safe miguel, and kusakabe and other just straight up padding to the fight kenjaku's whole dream, literally no reason of existing if he just dies, except for artificial drama for a "looming threat" yuki's whole character, having no lasting impact she just dies for nothing hakari and uraume getting off screened nobara pulling up out of nowhere with no build up at all
I can see where you're coming from with these, but I don't agree with all of them. I heavily disagree with Yuki's death though. Yuki as a character is without a doubt wasted potential, but her death worked to develop Choso. That was a great scene and makes her death one of my favourite in the series. The issue is that her dying wastes her character. Oh and fuck Kenjaku for surviving the black hole.
This is so true. Jjk has really good fights and characters, but the plot has never made sense at all. I think that Gege was going for a no character is safe kinda thing by killing them before their story is complete. It doesn’t make sense writing wise, but I believe that when a character dies in jjk it makes sense for the world rather than the plot. I never really liked Kenjaku and my brain turned off when he was on the page, so I never noticed how flawed the situation with the merger is. I suppose you could say that sometimes things don’t work out, but that’s kinda lame. It feels like Kenjaku was there so the king of wasted potential could get his cursed technique. I personally enjoy jjk and think it’s unique how the story is written (even if the plot is mid at times.) I’m glad to see another perspective on jjk because everyone always glazes it without really thinking. Thought I’d write a comment from the perspective of someone who enjoys jjk that isn’t “Nuh uh”
i agree with a good majority of your position. jjk character writing is pretty good. i think gojo sukuna toji are stand out characters but the plot was always a nebulous talking point. i think ill always enjoy jjk anime but not sure about the manga
@@dekuopioidstbh gege should have given us a proper Kenjaku/Heian era flashback before the start of culling games so we’re invested in the revived sorcerers like what he did for jjk season 2 where we get invested in Geto so when Gojo is tweaking out we can resonate with him better than if we where merely told “yeah they were close friends”or something along those lines
This is the problem with a lot of Popular Manga series nowadays, they started out with great potential, have their peak story telling in the middle, but they don't know how to give it a satisfying ending.
I think JJK's ending actually could have been good if he just didn't decide to have 5 chapters left before Sukuna was even dead. The concept/idea behind Sukuna's demise is genuinely good and very narratively and thematically fitting, the problem is how rushed it was and how there was barely any focus on it.
@@mrsninis_0477 For me the best ending would be if Yuji Sacrificed himself to Kill Sukuna, since that was his Goal ever since his Grand Father died, to have a meaningful death.
hate to be that guy but- it’s technically a mistranslation. in japanese the wording for the binding vow basically says “i’m not allowed to cut/draw blood to a person” that’s why sukuna can knock out Angel cuz he technically didn’t draw any blood, same with megumi
I think the dream thing before you die is supposed to be the equivalent of “life flashing before your eyes” or something. But I don’t care if that wasn’t explained tbh. I just hate how jjk keeps reconning itself or adding things to the power system last minute, and don’t get me started on HWB, this is the worst plot device I’ve seen in anime/manga
i think that needed to be explained because it happened like 20 times with zero explanation but is "hwb" hollow wicker basket? if it is then can you explain why you think so
@@dekuopioids Yeah, I agree, but compared to other mysteries in the series, explaining it isn’t really a necessity. And I believe that hollow willow basket was just introduced to give Sukuna more plot armor. Like why didn’t we get a hint about it earlier in the story? Why wasn’t it introduced last minute? Right when Sukuna needed it? That’s bad writing if you ask me
Hollow wicker basket was used by reggie star, kashimo, then sukuna. It wasnt introduced right when sukuna needed it even tho i think its contrived he chose hollow wicker basket instead of simple domain -> world cutting slash
Shinjuku was just a great looking fight with a very unstable and meh foundation. Like, almost every chapter has had notable and incredible panels, but gege has decided to lean into great looking scenes for a meh plot in return. Though Yuji has been a better part of the plot for shinjuku, it felt like after 236. there was never any real progress until his DE. and also. Hakari, where is the gambler? I know we wont get anything for Hakari anymore as theres only 5 chapters left. just waster potential.
I agree with you, Gege. In jjk, it shows that he is not that good at world building. There is so much that he introduces but shows nothing off. However Yuji making the binding vow I think is in character Yuji is a selfless foolish guy at the start of the series He jumps at the chance to save his freinds even though they were fighting something to him that is like a fictional monster he absolutely is devastated at the sight of Junpei which he literally asked sukuna pretty much the monster himself to save him he doesn't care as long as he has a chance of saving someone
ive learned to respect this side of the argument, i just hard disagree because theres no reasonable person that would actively acknowledge a killer is in the house but still unlock the doors like what yuji did. thanks for the comment, i agree with your other takes abt world building and his development
I feel like sukuna taking over yuji could have worked if yuji was the one to break the binding vow. Like think of it like this how would yuji know to switch with sukuna if he was told to forget then when yuji doesn’t switch sukuna gets more time in his body and can hurt people. When he gets control he cuts angel (this way we avoid angel being an idiot and that weird face thing he did) and heck maybe megumi fights him with yuji being able to hold sukuna back then at the end when we think he’s about to kill megumi he instead switch’s with him.
It has been a year and I am still NOT over how Gege changed Gojo's HP as plot armor and glaze for Sukuna. In the explanation that HE himself asked the physicists to give us on Gojo's abilities. They mentioned that by combining the positive and negative energy you get the concept of 'Zero'. 'Red' is the concept of positive energy , 'Blue' is the concept of negative and 'Purple' applies the combined concept of 'Zero' to everything caught in it. Applying the concept of 'Zero' to something means that it erases it from existence. HP is also the fastest attack in JJK but has a long charge-up time. which means once unleashed it can't be dodged. So Gege created an unbeatable monster and thus nerfed him conveniently for the sake of the plot. Sad... truly sad.
@@dekuopioids Escaping is not tanking, she didn't tank it she barely and only partially escaped because she felt HP's presence and decided to peace out and Todo also felt HP before Gojo even fired it, because of the insane amount of energy behind it and +the slow charge up as I mentioned that is why she could escape in the first place, the part of her that got touched by HP got ereased (see when Mahito sees her afterwards), even after having sensed it before launch and covering herself in roots and then sinking into the earth to escape, once HP was launched it was immediately on her ass because it is as I mentioned the fastest attack in JJK even Toji got blitzed by it (*Toji/Awakend Maki are far far faster than Hanami in speed and reaction time and senses). While Sukuna out right just stood there with DA
That was a combination of psuedosciences and headcannon. Hollow Purple only ever ‘erased’ an enemy or object by having the combined Blue and Red tear it apart.
5:34 To this day, I still haven't read the Takaba vs Kenjaku fight, I skipped it completely. That sht should have never existed. From Gojo getting offscreened by Sukuna copying mahoraga with his sharingan, Kashimo getting offscreened in 1.5 chapters after a year of hype, Kenjaku getting 1-shot bush camped after 1000 years of planning, and Sukuna soloing an army of sorcerers by spamming nonstop binding vows and asspulls. This Manga literally went to dogsht from 236 onwards. I've only continued reading it cause I already got that far. I'm glad it's ending. The only salvation will be to bring Nobara back so she can stop Sukuna with the last finger. It would be sweet if there was a Nobara/Megumi/Yuji triple black flash to pack up Sukuna for good.
Ya, I tried bringing up a few of these points, but fanboys freak if you want to apply some logic or criticism of their beloved jjk, almost like a religion to them😅
Absolutely wonderful video that gets straight to the point and nothing but facts(plus your brave enough to go against the masses). Take my subscription your a hidden gem.
Ive been reluctant to invest my time into reading JJK outside of the highlights because whenever people are frothing at the mouth over something being "peak," it's thus far in my experience never been able to live up to the lofty bar set for it. Without deeply knowing the story, even I was exhausted with Super Convenience Man just. Seemingly "just because-ing" his way through everything. Good to see my instinct was correct to stay away.
Quick anti-point. Yuji didn't include himself in the binding vow because he's stupid. He didnt include himself because he viewed his life and purpose as being expendable and would rather help others. Also, he was new to jujutsu sorcery and likely couldn't predict how his negligence would impact things so far down the road via butterfly effect So I don't think that's bad writing nor making Itadori stupid. It plays into his characterization. I agree with some of the other points though.b
@@plantcrone9662 That doesn't really change anything. When I say Yuji didn't include himself, I meant he obviously didn't negotiate his own safety the into the conditions, or even make an attempt to really.
i dont think being character focused is why ppl dislike evangelion. its the opposite.but death threats are just a natural part of being an author when you end your story. natural part of being online too.
There are a lot of really good points made in this video, but I disagreed with some stuff, one such example is Yuji simply being stupid, I think it's moreso that he didn't value his own life in the equation, which is pretty fitting for Yuji. That being said, good video. The JJK community is a wild one, so don't listen to the unreasonable hate comments. Chin up, brother.
60% of this comment section is 9 yr olds who only watched s2 and think they know everything, jjk fell of hard and everything in the vid was actually factual, @dekuopioids ty for making this fr "put the fries in the bag" - grow up from your tiktok humor 😭
I haven't finished the video yet, but I would like to point out that the proof of people hating the ending is not very strong. The letters in EoE are mostly positive and not even real. They also address Death & Rebirth and not the actual series itself. Anno himself knew the ending we got in the TV wasn't the one he fully wanted, the production for EoE began immediately after the anime ended and you can argue that a draft of the first half was already written before the TV anime even ended since aspects of the unused episode 25 script was used in EoE. It should also be known that EoE is a remake of the last two episode and is therefore the true vision of Anno's story. The TV anime was rushed by the end, but it's not the true ending nor was it as hated as people make it out to be.
The Flashback into Shibuya and JJK 0 was peak ngl. Reading that weekly at the time I thought this series would be an instant classic even if the rest was mid tier, nope somehow the entire series every 10 chapters got worse and worse till the hilariously bad ending 5-10 chapters we got. I would bet my life Gege had nothing to do writing wise with that peak period of JJK probably one of his assistance cooking the only good period of the story lmao. MHA which is mid as fuck is a better story than JJK and that just hurts me to say 😂😂
I agree with most of what you say in this video, but the merger happening would kind of ruin chapter 265. A nihilistic ending where literally everybody dies for the sake of the merger doesn't fit after Yuji and Megumi embraced altruism. The problem with JJK is that Sukuna's death was rushed and wasn't given focus. We've barely seen a single character actually react to him being dead/mourning the people who died. Another problem is the fact that Gege is introducing new things and focusing on unimportant parts instead of giving payoff and resolving plotlines. I also don't like the decision to bring back characters like Higuruma since he can't do anything narratively satisfying enough with such few chapters left, it just seems like fanservice more than anything. I also have an issue with the fact that Nobara's and Yuji's reunion was offscreened and that literally nothing has been done with Nobara's character after she was brought back. Such a shame
dont know what u were expecting. ur a clown if you thought he was gonna deliver a good ending when he hasnt wrote a single good chapter a day in his life
I read csm part one recently and it was really good. Unfortunately part two didn’t really grab me, which is a shame because I wanted to finish it. I think csm should’ve ended with part one imo. My friend told me to watch hells paradise, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet. I think jjk is a fun story. Like I stated in my essay length comment: the character writing is leagues better than the plot. The shibuya arc was a masterpiece of modern anime in my opinion. I enjoyed the fights and characters in jjk but the story was never really my thing. I really do love jjk though because I value the character writing over the plot, but that’s just me. Calling jjk bad and just leaving it at that is a bit silly though. Of course you’re entitled to your opinion like I am, but I think that something being bad is objective compared to not liking something. For example part 5 of jojo is a bad part, but it’s my favourite. Jjk isn’t bad, but it’s not as good as people say it is. That’s just my pov though.
I’ll never forgive gege for letting sukuna lose to fodder kids that should’ve been killed regardless if he was playing or not Sukuna still best character he just had a shit author
JJK is what happens when an idea guy writes a manga. Gege knows how to put together a really cool concept that pulls you in but isn't disciplined enough to do anything with it. I like JJK, it hit some of the highest highs I've ever seen in Hidden Inventory and Shibuya, but after that his editor left and it showed that he was really the only person reigning Gege in. I'm not saying I could do better or anything, what Gege did was incredibly hard to do, but the level of resentment he seems to feel for his own story at some points, especially at the end was just frustrating.
Lowkey, your great. I'm shocked you have 200 subs and i never got into JJK Season 2, i just felt it was a bit. Lackluster? Like yeah cool fights, yada, yada. The plot? More fighting than plot and i value plot more. Animation was amazing but i couldn't sit there watching something with no plot.
Im gonna get attacked for this but I recently had this theory that shoko might khs by the end of jjk bc based on everything we know abt her loosing her friends etc. she either 1 get tons of therapy or 2 khs
I liked Jjk(as I was anime exclusive) before seeing the recent manga panels online and how cluttered the story is and this video proved my thoughts correct now see how messed up the story is like nobara coming back randomly and just how genuinely sick I am of this story it makes no sense might as well start watching better anime like one piece or Naruto Gege dose not know how to write. Thanks dude I’m surprised this isn’t more viral it deserves it.
lol fr, nobara being back is the most shock value thing ever, and it literally works on the brain dead jjk fanbase, i literally saw a lot of posts saying that the ending was not that good but atleast nobara is back like that changes anything
@@moonless4246 I view it much more as fanservice than shock value. The main problem with Nobara coming back is that Gege hasn't fleshed her character out or developed her at all after her return.
You are completely wrong about the vow section. Firstly, Yuji made that vow for Megumi, not for himself, Thats literally his whole character, he thinks of others first. Secondly, Sukunas finger isnt a lethal poison, it only is to ppl who dont have potenial as vessels, so It clearly doesnt harm Megumi. Also, did knocking Hana out harm her? It didnt seem to, she looked completely fine seconds later.
Ill start off by saying maybe megumi swallowing the finger isnt a contradiction. Saying yuji made the vow for megumi seems like a concession to the fact the writer wrote yuji to be recarded. Why would yuji make a vow for sukuna to not hurt anyone while actively acknowledging sukuna killed him? If sukuna killed me or you, we would 100% include ourselves in our no violence vow. The author is denying logical conclusions to make the plot move forward. Next the hana stuff is deadass stupid anime logic that shouldnt manifest in the most pivotal moment in the series
@@dekuopioidsyuji got forced into the binding vow by sukuna. Yuji didn't wanna do the binding vow, and got forced into a fight with sukuna, and because yuji a dumb 15 year old kid with no understanding of jujitsu he got locked into it. Also yuji is a suicidal, while at that point he was afraid of death he understood his role of eventually dying and was starting to come to grips with fulfilling his role. Especially the yuji during and post Shibuya had not only completely accepted his role but also wanted to die. The vow was the story way of punishing yujis thinking and idea that he needed to sacrifice himself and fulfill this role that feeds into the greater theme of jjk. It was yuji being a dumbass and yuji believing that he had to fulfill this role. This how was just yujis character flaws being punished by the story especially with the recent plot developments we got yuji full character arc. When was it stated yuji had poison in him, and yuji fingers were poisonous. That was with sukuna body but this is yuji body not sukuna why would he have poison in it.
@@thefarmer6541 let me tell you that themes should not be a substitute for plot and logic. something having a thematic explanation is a slap in the face to the logic of the characters. idgaf if yuji is suicidal and struggling with his place in the world and conception of death bro that shit fucking stinks. what i do care about is yuji allowing sukuna to do the exact same thing again i.e. kill him. if you have ring as a security company and get robbed, why would continue to still have ring? why wouldnt you get adt or nest? thats the problem, if sukuna just killed him, why doesnt yuji protect himself? again im not looking for thematic excuses because you can justify any garbage writing decision with themes and symbolism.
@@Yami-mugoni613 It has been practically over for a while you are just now aware of this. Been planned to end this year and with the current fight bout to wrap up the end was inevitable. Please read
Idk if i agree with some issues brought up but i do think the merger not being a thing is very bad. Its like one piece where you expect the timebomb to happen like the buster call in water 7
The problem is that it was built up too much. The merger happening would mean that literally everybody would have do die. That would give jjk a nihilistic message, which overall Isn't a good idea, but would genuinely be terrible after Yuji embraced altruism in chapter 265.
@@mrsninis_0477 not a good argument because the kogane/culling games is inconsistent and doesnt have to appeal to every rule also the tonality and treatment of the merger is a quiet backdrop instead of doomsday. if they were really fighting to prevent the merger the characters would be worried about it
The reason the binding vow needed to be made was because sukuna used the time he had possessed Yuji to fight and harm megumi. Literally talked about killing women and children the moment he had control over his body the first time. Yuji knowing this obviously doesn’t allow sukuna control because of what he would do to OTHER people. Yuji as a character has very little concern for himself and is selfless he also wasn’t taking the vow entirely serious at the time. So it makes sense when he so quickly agreed to the terms that his focus would be on others. This entire video is just so blatantly misconstrued in order to discredit the series.
I dont think i make too many crazy claims in the video. The binding vow thing is a plot hole because of the 3 reasons i gave. Even if i were to grant that the yuji thing is fine (which it is not because out of his own mouth he admits sukuna killed him so why would he ever make a binding vow that could result in the same thing which could subsequently hurt the people around him), still have the force feeding poison, and the loose mechanics of knocking someone out but cant drop them on the ground after u knock them out
@@dekuopioids several claims that are literally disproven in the story like idek how you read the story through and still hold these claims. We can gladly discuss any of them. The 3 reasons you gave are all flawed because you assume the intent of yuji which is what’s of relevance. He was simply expressing the fact that sukuna did kill him that doesn’t entail that was his reason for engaging in the binding vow again he didn’t even acknowledge the fact he just agree on whim when sukuna said he wouldn’t hurt anyone. The actual kanji used refers to physical injury such as cuts or bruises. Force feeding megumi with not actual harm cause to megumi would not break the vow
I respect the opinion but most of the community don't feel this way. The final arc is far from perfect but to say the series was always bad is abit of a stretch. I don't enjoy MHA or jojo for various reasons but it doesn't mean it is objectively bad or i can't see why other people enjoy it
nah im not saying this series is objectively bad therefore if you enjoy it youre a terrible person. all im saying is that I (me personally) do not like the series and these are objective reasons for why i reached my own conclusion
i think the insinuation was that yuji lost some of his self worth theoughout the story and so the binding vow between him and sukuna ended the way it did, but that doesn't make sense. thematically it kinda does, showing yuji's mistake of lessening his own importance
Yea a friend of mine told me it could be seen as “yuji is so self sacrificing” and etc but themes shouldnt be the bungee cord for logic in storytelling IMO
damn you missed out alot actually. The rest of Shibuya is great (apart from one specific event I don't like) and the arcs leading up to culling games are pretty decent. Culling games is flawed but Higuruma's character is imo the best in the series. You could argue Gojo/Yuji are better but I honestly think Higuruma is the most well written character in the series. Gojo vs Sukuna was also insane to follow but the quality of it is more debatable.
@@friedhotwings youre free to debate me on anything i said in the video! but alas i know youre gonna run away from a person with no media literacy right
the pretentiousness is crazy bro im crying. #1 you think jjk is a dense series as if it doesnt have a million plot holes and #2 youre automatically assuming that if someone doesnt like something that means they didnt pay attention to it. oh my god youre so challenged bro
As heavy as JJk is crazy, not say it doesn’t heavy theme (gojo is a amazing well written op character and I stand by they) but they make their own writing needlessly complicated
JJK is NOT a heavy story, it’s a new gen manga that’s been around for not a long time, it’s less than 300 chapters long that has inconsistent story telling. Some characters are fleshed out while some are in the womb. The heian era is not getting an explanation for JJK. I hope there is a spin off that explains the golden era of jujutsu but it’s clearly not being explained in the OG manga. The world building is great in JJK and I like the start, but since Shibuya, things have felt rushed imo. Plus the plot holes in Shinjuku and the side lining is insane. The “new Toji” gets slammed by Sukuna, same as Yuta/Gojo who was gonna be the “next monster” but can’t fight at all like Gojo. And a technique meant to ERASE to the atomic level has only grazed Sukuna’s skin 3 times. People complain about power overcoming hax in DB but don’t for Sukuna.
If you seriously think JJK is a perfect manga, you need to reevaluate your own opinions. The anime might answer some questions by adding filler that counts as canon episodes but I don’t see the manga answering all of our questions. It’s unfortunate this ending is so rushed because Sukuna should’ve had his heian era self be explained and how he even had the 20 fingers in the first place. Sukuna’s technique isn’t even fully explained since he has like 5 at this point, and all we know is that he has 2 slash attacks, fingers that can turn people into vessels via consuming the finger, fire arrow, and now he has a slash that negates durability and cuts space. He also can use their innate techniques while making new ones, he even is able to make a butt load of binding vows that benefit him where he should’ve died by now

Gege really rushed the ending we aint getting (Shinjuku arc is mid only gojo vs sukuna fight carried)
1. Sukuna Backstory
2. Heian Era Flashback
3. No aftermath of Yuta in Gojo's body
4. Kashimo vs Uraume Fight
5. No closure of Nobara's true status
6. No Merger
7. No showcase of Sukuna's other weapon
Hakari vs uraume
1. Sukuna is Sukuna he does not change, he is a menace, always was a menace and will be a menace until yuji shows him some love next chapter
2. People complain about the sukuna cycle, but they want a heian era flashback where sukuna spammed 2 special grade cursed tools to wipe out everyone, and don’t realize that what happened in the heian era is this arc but sukuna won
3. Series isn’t over, yuta fell over 2 chapters ago have some patience payoff does not happen in 2 chapters that’s shit story telling
4. You don’t even got their names right
5. Is hinted at in the last chapter maybe wait and even if she does show up her fucking head exploding with and injury that isn’t healable uncles you sukuna like tf she should stay in her grave
6. The requirements for the merger was sukuna winning the battle which will probably never happen unless you want him to win I guess, but we literally see the merger happen near the end of culling games, it doesn’t need to happen it’s what the jjk squad is trying to prevent
7. If sukuna had that other weapon he just would have won, plain and simple kamutoke would have not been taken by higaruma and sukuna wouldn’t have boxed anybody but instead spammed lighting strikes
At this point, Gege is gonna end off with some bull crap "Our Jujutsu Kaisen was the friends we made along the way" (Their all dead btw)
oh yea this is the worst arc in the series easily
1 & 2 was never necessary to the story.
3 & 4 will most likely get answered.
5 idk what to tell you.
6 was NEVER going to happen.
7 same as 1 & 2.
hakari and uraume got married and had 3 kids and bought a medium house.
i’ve always felt this lol
the shit is HORRIBLE and genuinely could have been one of the greats too but it focuses tm on hype rather than fleshing out it’s ACTUAL story
i feel like the author literally j makes shit vague to drive hype or suspense around a topic only to never Fuckin explain
either that or explain it horribly
i think if the merger and the nature of cursed energy were explained, this series couldve been something special but unfortunately, i always knew akutami wasnt built like that
@@dekuopioids i think some characters could have been good too
makis dismantling of the zenin clan was out of the love she had for her sister
she wouldn’t have done it had it not been for the wishes of her only sister
but at the end of the day it falls flat
it feels like it was pointless
Then the fans tell you to read deeper when then there isn’t anything there
things that in my opinion had no reason to exist in the final fight:
yuta switching bodies with gojo just to do a hollow purple that literally got off-screened and thus doing no damage
angel's maximum jacob's ladder also doing absolutely nothing, even if you can argue that it is a weaker version, there was no reason for it to exist at all if it didn't even do evident damage, it could've at least separated megumi with sukuna, even if megumi won't contribute that much to the fight at least he's safe
miguel, and kusakabe and other just straight up padding to the fight
kenjaku's whole dream, literally no reason of existing if he just dies, except for artificial drama for a "looming threat"
yuki's whole character, having no lasting impact she just dies for nothing
hakari and uraume getting off screened
nobara pulling up out of nowhere with no build up at all
i disagree with about 40% of the list but for the most part, a lot of these would not be problems if the story wasnt ending in 4 chapters
@@mrsninis_0477choso's character arc is a straight fucking line.
It didn't even end up going anywhere.
@@karlluigi1987 That would be a great ending if Yuji didn't embrace altruism in chapter 265 imo.
No cause you have a point since how tf do you grip someone’s jaw and shove a finger down their throat without harming them 😂
hate to be that guy but-
it’s technically a mistranslation. in japanese the wording for the binding vow basically says “i’m not allowed to cut/draw blood to a person”
that’s why sukuna can knock out Angel cuz he technically didn’t draw any blood, same with megumi
@ that’s so stupid you could still kill people without making them draw blood so the deal would be useless
@@dekuopioids Wait, really?
I don’t remember tbh
But still, giving it to Sukuna is just plot armor if you ask me
Shinjuku was just a great looking fight with a very unstable and meh foundation. I know we wont get anything for Hakari anymore as theres only 5 chapters left. just waster potential.
well it seems like it was cursed to end badly.
Just put my fries in the bag
BOOM ROASTED!
Yuji during the series becomes more competent and less foolish
ive learned to respect this side of the argument, i just hard disagree because theres no reasonable person that would actively acknowledge a killer is in the house but still unlock the doors like what yuji did. thanks for the comment, i agree with your other takes abt world building and his development
Sad... truly sad.
honestly i never knew anything about it but its crazy how hanami was able to tank it tho
@@semirtahir3756 nah hollow purple was never that fast
You can tell Gege writes with the power idea in mind first and everything second
All anime/manga needs nowadays is a cool overpowered character, hype fights and good animation
Takaba vs Kenjaku was goated, and it was a plan for yuta to wear down Kenjaku.

Quick anti-point. Yuji didn't include himself in the binding vow because he's stupid. He didnt include himself because he viewed his life and purpose as being expendable and would rather help others. Also, he was new to jujutsu sorcery and likely couldn't predict how his negligence would impact things so far down the road via butterfly effect

Fine video bro

I think jjk is a fun story. Like I stated in my essay length comment: the character writing is leagues better than the plot. The shibuya arc was a masterpiece of modern anime in my opinion. I enjoyed the fights and characters in jjk but the story was never really my thing. I really do love jjk though because I value the character writing over the plot, but that’s just me.
Calling jjk bad and just leaving it at that is a bit silly though. Of course you’re entitled to your opinion like I am, but I think that something being bad is objective compared to not liking something.

That was with sukuna body but this is yuji body not sukuna why would he have poison in it.

if you have ring as a security company and get robbed, why would continue to still have ring? why wouldnt you get adt or nest? thats the problem, if sukuna just killed him, why doesnt yuji protect himself? again im not looking for thematic excuses because you can justify any garbage writing decision with themes and symbolism.

Did you watch this video with your eyes and ears closed?
i think the insinuation was that yuji lost some of his self worth theoughout the story and so the binding vow between him and sukuna ended the way it did, but that doesn't make sense. thematically it kinda does, showing yuji's mistake of lessening his own importance
Yea a friend of mine told me it could be seen as “yuji is so self sacrificing” and etc but themes shouldnt be the bungee cord for logic in storytelling IMO

Culling games is flawed but Higuruma's character is imo the best in the series. You could argue Gojo/Yuji are better but I honestly think Higuruma is the most well written character in the series. Gojo vs Sukuna was also insane to follow but the quality of it is more debatable.

Ngl jjk is overrated
whenever you read something as heavy as JJK, actually pay attention so you can like it instead of making things up to try to make an argument.
"heavy as JJK" bro 😭 ig people like you are inevitable when a series goes mainstream
the pretentiousness is crazy bro im crying.
