Just finished up almost virtually the same build. Used a 6.0 lq9 out of a 2005 escalade but married to the nv3550 5 speed trans. All factory dash guages. Nice build guys!
@@Zero2SixtyPerformance I'm thinking of having a guy here locally that does LS swaps finish mine. It's half way done and been sitting in my drive for 3 years. He said he recommends a Holley computer so that Holley dash should obviously work with it. It looks good sitting in there. Do those work well?
Wow nice job. I am actually doing the same thing to my TJ. I have a LC9 motor in on the Novac mounts but it seems th oil pan is way low, is that normal or should I go with a shallow pan?
We are finishing up a crew cab long bed square body pickup with long travel suspension, big tires, etc etc LS3 & 6L90 swap. Will have a video on that shortly. Down the pipeline.. 1970 Chevelle LSX 454, Lq9 442 Gbody, 1972 Impala LT4. Will have a video for them all! Thanks for watching our videos it means a lot to us!
Could you possibly give ne a full rub down on everything that was needed for this particular build. I'm doing the same thing to my 97 and would love parts list
Did I see a charcoal canister under the hood? You kept the GM evap system intact? Did you keep the cats and upstream/downstream O2 sensors? Having a hard time here in Ca running that drivers side cat with the driveline in the way.
Indeed you did. We didnt keep the cats but we certainly could have. We ran the exhaust around the front of the pan and back. We could have squeezed a cat in there. I would try to do a y into a single cat.
@@Zero2SixtyPerformance Thanks. I'm trying to use my Jeep bellhousing with my AX-15 with my 5.3 LS. Novak still makes the kit, though it's hard to find on their site. here's the link to it: www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/adapters/engine-to-transmission/ax15/kit-375/
Very nice work done. I would like to take my jeep to you guys to do this exact same swap, but unfortunately im located in AZ. I was wondering how did you guys make the AC work with holley terminator as well as all the turn signals? Im going to start this same project with a 2004 escalade motor into my 2002 jeep tj.
The ac and things related to the chassis are all factory. All of the lights and whatnot are completely unchanged. The terminator just wants to see when the ac is signaled to turn on the fans.
Most affordable is going to be a stock harness that has been turned into a “stand alone” harness. Just do a Google search, there are quite a few people that are doing them.
I don’t see why the dash wouldn’t be. The pcm on the other hand may be a different story. If they require to plug into a DLC to check system statuses or check engine codes.. no.
The bellhousing is a bbc bellhousing SUM-700170 . The flywheel is a RAM-1550X. The pilot bushing however, is some special Novak deal PB-6071357. Clutch is a BBC as well LUK-04-064. That should keep you busy for a little while :)
How did you do the stick shifter ? I got problem with the correct location. If I place the gearbox/shifterhouse in right possion, then the engine will be in the torpedowall.
I don't know that I would use it for something that is a high hp build or something that gets totally thrashed but this little jeep is driven pretty aggressively and its holding up fine so far. Id go for it.
@@Zero2SixtyPerformance of corse lol I live in Iowa. I have me Jeep in Vegas now getting a 6.2 tl1 with a 8 speed in it done cause there is no ones that does things like that here nothing’s ever close. Nice job man looks great
Junk you’ll regret it in the trails the 4l80e form the junk yard with a built converter upgrade the internals yourself is the way to go bullet proof system and cheap plus the holly systems can work with the engine and trans same time it’s lit if you never tried try it don’t trust so called built 4l80e transmissions just painted and converter swapped get the parts and assemble yourself super cheap big results
Or.. you build it to what the customer wants. While we would never build you something with a junkyard transmission, we would be happy to build you one with a 4l80.. because that’s what you want.. obviously. 👍

The diversity of what you are working on is cool. Really looking forward to seeing the G-body since I have one I want to get done.
How did you create the lines for the A/C? And where is the start-up video?
We relocated the dryer and made custom lines. Idk that we ever made a start up video
1. Is this type of swap available for a 2016 2dr Sahara? 2. Is it available for 6 speed manual? 3. Cost?
Very nice
Thanks!

This is badass!
Having a small vibration in drive line in our swap. 99 tj 5.3 ls with 4l60
I would check the driveline angle first. Make sure you aren't binding up. Other that that there is a multitude of things it could be unfortunately

Novak Mounts, Radiator, Hydraulic Slave and Transmission adapter. Patriot Headers for 2010+ Camaro. Holley Hi Mount A/C. Holley Terminator X, Holley 6.5 Dash
Rub down 🤣🤣🤣

Cool build. Did you keep the stock axles? What size of wheels & tyers?
Thanks
At the time of this video it was on stock axles and 30's. It has since gone to a bigger axle setup
Awesome Jeep. What’s the song from your intro???
Novak makes an adapter to mate the jeep bell housing to the block ( kit 375-3). Have you ever used that?
We have. I don't know that it is available anymore. We used the kit to put a gm bellhousing on it

Absolutely!
Have any recommendations on the most affordable wiring harness and engine controller for a 5.3 ls and turbo 350?
Most affordable is going to be a stock harness that has been turned into a “stand alone” harness. Just do a Google search, there are quite a few people that are doing them.
I'm looking to do a V8 swap but I need to stay emissions legal in Colorado. Any chance the dash, computer are compliant?

What motor mounts were used?
Novak
I'm guessing you also used Novak's flywheel? Also which bellhousing did you guys use? Thanks!

@@Zero2SixtyPerformance thanks for the info, love the channel!
What wires did you connect from the Holley Terminator EFI wiring harness to the body chassis wire harness?
The only wires we really needed was a 12v switched and the fuel level sender since we used the Holley Dash.
How much did cost in total?
You would be looking at roughly 20k to replicate this setup.
@@Zero2SixtyPerformance Is this price including typical labor rates or just parts
The complete swap. Drop it off, drive it home
Would a 4.8 or a 5.3 be cheaper? Or close towards that price also?
How did you do the stick shifter ? I got problem with the correct location. If I place the gearbox/shifterhouse in right possion, then the engine will be in the torpedowall.
We had to modify the stick to come out the factory location
@@Zero2SixtyPerformance Thank's for your fast response. Ye, I just got to the same conclusion. I did find a BM shifter, but it is to expensive.
What fresh air intake/filter did you use.
We fabricated the intake
Any updates on the ax15 ,just curious, I'm putting one behind a 4.8 and I get mixed opinions on it's durability

@@Zero2SixtyPerformance 👍 awesome,thanks for the input
Did you keep the Dana 44 rear axle? What gear ratio?
Yes we did. 4.10
@@Zero2SixtyPerformance I'm interested. Did you dyno it?
Did not
an ax-15 can handle that power?
Has so far on multiple projects. Will I recommend it for something that will be abused, no, but in something like this it has worked out great.
Hey boss can u send me a link for the dash wanting to see if they do 1 for a 2007 jk
It is a 7" Holley dash. We fabricated the housing
Where are you located ?
