Whatever the cause of the sinking what was highlighted was that even in death there was a social hierarchy. The injustice of this and the subsequent world wars led to the collapse of the unjust social system in the UK ie the landed gentry ruling an empire whilst everybody else struggled.

🚢Great natter! I've had a lifelong fascination with and been drawn to Titanic. I get an indescribable feeling when I think of it. I've not sailed in the area but hope to one day... I clearly remember when she was discovered on the ocean floor in the 1980s, we watched a breaking news documentary about it at school in Grade 5 or 6..

Thanks for the great chat. Easy to follow and relaxing (even though such a sad event). I've never heard there were other ships present who saw so interesting to hear. ⚓️ 🛳 🔱

It's a strange one this the stuff I've researched said a fire started way before sailing that weakened the hull it was repaired before they set sail but continued to burn. Along with no binoculars being in the nest they could not have seen the berg In time. I feel I've had a past life on this ship and hate absolutely hate going on water I've said before I feel I've known Claire in a past life and wonder if the Titanic was were we met. It's a sister feeling I get. I love your chats its organic and natural defo not scripted ❤❤❤ xxx

Interesting, looking forward to more about the Titanic. My late mum loved the Titanic, and i bought the film on DVD, in a little tribute to her memory, i watch the DVD on her birthday, and whenever Titanic comes on TV. 🚢

Garry so logical and Claire sitting listening and then blows his theory out of the water with her point of view.😂

I think Titanic was hit by an 🧊 iceberg. The 🚢 ⚓️ was in the wrong place, wrong time.

Read : Riddle of The Titanic by Robin Gardiner, The Ship that Never Sank and The Titanic Conspiracy : Cover Ups and Mysteries of the World’s Most Famous Sea Disaster all by Robin Gardiner. What you have mentioned is covered in these books and also that it WASNT the Titanic that sank but the Olympic instead. The Olympic had a huge hole in its hull and work had to be stopped on the Titanic to fix the Olympic. Read the details and look at the evidence. There’s evidence to suggest to they did this. This makes very interesting reading and it’s explained in the books that people did think that another ship was coming to rescue them, but the weather made a huge impact in the way things could be seen. It’s very hard to explain but it gave false perception of where the Titanic was - it’s explained in the books and on documentaries hence why ships past nearby and didn’t see the Titanic. And also lights were seen on the titanic but they were not that close sort of like a mirage effect when you are in a desert.
These books have the details of inquiries in. There was a fire on board. That’s in all these books.
Having read these books- business can be corrupt and yes I think a ringer/ insurance scam could be likely if a rescue ship was organised. Did they do it? I don’t know. I think if someone has the will, money and power to do so to create an illusion but it went horrendously wrong yes I think unfortunately humans are capable of that especially in that time - when people thought they were invincible otherwise why name a ship Titanic and say it’s unsinkable.
Had Titanic hit the iceberg head on instead of the side - it wouldn’t have sunk because not all the five watertight doors would have been breached
    Yes insurance paid out
Just imagine if you did do an insurance scam and you organised another boat and it didn’t get there or something went horribly wrong- i think you might find the Mount temple although owned by Canadian Pacific lines had a white star connection- if I remember correctly
You have to think as such as it was without the Titanic disaster, new safety laws would not have been introduced including life boats for all & life boat drills and different shipping lanes across the Atlantic. So at the end of the day you have to focus on the positives 🙂

They first and foremost put the word out before it went out. "it's the unsinkable" how would they know that for sure?? Just saying. Thank you Claire and Gary. 😊

Hi, just being a nosey Parker so ignore if you like. I've wondered if Gary knew of your gift before your honeymoon? Even if he did what did he think when Claire was flipping out during your honeymoon? What does he think of your work/gift? Love the natters, you both are great 💕

Enjoyed your conversations, there are numerous conspiracies yet after a hundred + years, non of the conspiracies have really panned out. Often the simple explanation is the truth.❤❤❤

I read a theory that said the captain was trying to break a speed record so when the ice appeared they saw it too late and couldn't avoid it in time

Thank you for the excellent discussion about the Titanic. I have been interested in the Titanic since my youth. I had several books on it. One was a big picture book that was written by the person who discovered the wreck, sitting on my coffee table. Out of Woods Hole Massachusetts I believe.
Cape Cod is beautiful. A great time to visit is Oct when the leaves are in their full glory. I lived many years in Massachusetts. If you go to Boston Salem is worth seeing. I like the Hawthorn Hotel as it is in a beautiful location.
Enjoy your trip to Boston and the Cape Cod.
