In todays video we do a comparison between my oe ltz rep 20x8.5 with 35x12.50 Nitto Mudgrapplers VS Hardrock 24x12 -44 with 33x12.50 Landspider Wildtraxx MT!
Going from one mud tire to another is going to ride very similar as they're usually a pretty stiff tire. It's when you go from a softer all terrain tire to a more off road tire that you'll see a major difference with sidewall height. Either way, you're still driving a truck, how smooth do ya think it's going to be, be honest now?
Well now I know. I’m riding 20x10’s with 35’s now but plan to upgrade to 24’s but since I drive a Chevy I’m going to have to go with 33’s. Not sure how I feel about but I want my Kobe’s (24’s)!!!
Hey chase! I’m looking at buying some mud graps for my f350. Where do you suggest buying tires as far as online goes. I know you buy a lot of tires online so I thought I would ask
I Definitely the like the looks of the 24’s better than the stick reps. I hate the looks of any stock wheels with wide mud tires. Looks either cheap and like you didn’t have enough $ for wheels. But 22’s is the biggest I prefer with 33’s. The only thing worse is a 14” wide wheel with 12.50 tire. That just looks ridiculous!
Don't forget that a taller tire means it rolls a further distance than a shorter one with the same revolutions, so you are most likely going to get better gas mileage with the taller tire if their weights are very similar. The taller tire will also add some braking distance, so an upgraded brake pad may not be a bad investment.
If the taller tire has less weight, the same tread depth and thinner side wall, it will have less rotational inertia than the shorter tire, plus the shorter tire here has a larger contact patch. So the taller tire in this instance will get better mileage.
I think stock wheels with grapps look the best. I'm not talking 20" replicas lol I mean like 16-18" factory wheels. I'll also say that my 2010 z71 tahoe can't clear anywhere near a 35 even with a 2" level, so this gen truck must be different.
Tire size should be based on Gear ratio. Running 35 inch tires with a ratio less than 4.10 will cause Engine lugging. Too low of RPM. Which will cause engine performance issue. Also running a smaller side wall on tires should be avoided as the rubber is part of your suspension. Going for looks overall performance I guess.
Sorry but chrome gives a truck some pop...looks so good rolling down the road, black looks like you lost your hubcaps.....lol 😆 most 35s run around 33.5 tall and 33s run 31.5, 31 3/4 tall. Very seldom is a tire what it says. 37s are 35... sad but true.
those 24s/33s look ridiculous and probly ride like an 1820s steel wheel wagon that being said if the stock dull aluminums 33s im guessing..? were as shiny as the 20s/35s i would pick them for best snow/mud/rock traction and softest ride and cheapest in the first place and cheaper to replace ! $20 of mothers aluminum polish, few hrs labor and the stock wheels might look pretty good
I use to be a offset guy. But I love the look of oem 20s on 35s plus it actually makes sense.
Always enjoy seeing LMFSCREW notifications on my phone bro, keep it up 🙏🏻
Love the tires and the trucks love your channel chase
I like the 24's better, but the chrome wheels look good too. I see a lot of the setup your going with on that era truck.
24x12-44 looks awesome on your truck
I'm 17's on 37's. Old school has to have sidewall squash
They both look good the graps look awesome on stock wheels I just hate how loud they are
Hey man can you do a video on reselling / buying used wheel and tire set ups. I've done it a couple times but would love your advice!
i would love to see that too
24/33s 🔥
Love the mud graps
You picked a good time to unload your 6.2. In a couple months I would expect to see some deals.
I love the 24 and offset
Love the bubba setup on Mud Grapplers
Love the videos
Bubba setup looks the best for sure
I prefer the 35/20 except for the finish. I like the black with machined accents on the 24s
I think you should get a black wheel for the truck with the graps
I have duappy single cab and im happy with 35x12.5r17
Im old school 😀
Stocks and grapps my favorite

With the high gas prices anything we can do to get better gas milage? The lifted pickup could be a thing of the past.

First love the vids

Taller tire = more engine strain. You won’t get better gas mileage

Said no one ever!!!! Bigger wheels = more gas that's a fact
Reps and 35s look better, very clean look
The 24’s are it bro!
The graps
Did you re gear the rear end for the 35s ?? From what I heard they say you have too or u feel a power loss and mpg??

🔥🔥
20x10s rule supreme, covers all bases and checks every box.
I like the 24s

I was surprised that the 35s didn't weigh more.
Graps and stocks all day
20s & 35in tires
Do the reps rub on the sway bar at full turn
Whats the Size that you ordered for Terry The Tundra
The 24/12s looks the best but mud grapps all the way
24s all day baby
I've never understood big wheels with tiny sidewalls. Enjoy avoid bumps and potholes.
You keeping the stocks
My 24s and 35s reps weighed 124 lbs
How do you know how much psi you need in your tires.
I’m trying to get a set of 22’ snowflakes or split 7’s that’ll fit my F150, and I’m also not trying to run adapters. Quite the predicament.
hey screw what camera do you use to record vidoes
Sadly I’m getting rid of my grapplers they are so damn loud driving around I’m going to 33s
To me putting newer Chevy wheels on an older one is kinda not right but they still look pretty good for the tire combo
35/20s for sure
20s and 35s
Yessir
24s I like better
I think if you did some 20x12 chrome wheels with 33s would look the best.
You should take the fender flares off
0:49 😭
18s/33s
The first set looks better
Sorry but chrome gives a truck some pop...looks so good rolling down the road, black looks like you lost your hubcaps.....lol 😆 most 35s run around 33.5 tall and 33s run 31.5, 31 3/4 tall. Very seldom is a tire what it says. 37s are 35... sad but true.
grapps by a long shot
those 24s/33s look ridiculous and probly ride like an 1820s steel wheel wagon

I don't like black wheels. On the chrome wheels in this video the center caps need the GMC logo!
20/35’s all the way
Graps definitely look better
24s all day
24’s
500lbs of extra weight wheew
Does anyone know where I can find new 35inch mud grapps for sale? I can't find them in stock anywhere. Lets go Brandon
