Building the ULTIMATE Filmmaker's Charging Station

- We built the ULTIMATE charging station for filmmakers using an IKEA Billy Bookcase! It's perfect for filmmakers who work out of their bedroom or a small studio. Everything was built using IKEA products and DIY store parts, so really accessible!
We talk about all of the different camera batteries we use like Sony NPF, Sony A7s batteries, V-lock Batteries, and Insta 360. We also built a LED light charging bay holder to help store and charge our Aputure MCs and other LED effects light.

Neoprene Foam was 1mm thick. The best place to buy it is from eBay as you can buy different lengths, but if anyone needs some we have plenty, just pay for the delivery.

It looks very good! Love the Orange color. It is so organized and clean looking. 4:48 it is not eve na mess, or maybe organized-mess if that is a word? I want to build something similar. For now, I just have the IKEA tables, which work OK, but the chargers are a mess as you were talking about in the start. I do not think ti will be that fancy as yours with paint and stuff :-)

Does the different colour tape mean anything ? I see people carrying the different colours all the time .
If you are spiking the floor for different characters, you can give them their own colour in a scene. Black works best for shadow taping, white for labels, green for grass haha. But there's no hard and set rule

What if Charging could have done wirelessly with Bluetooth🙄🙄. I wasted 1 year of my life just charging stuffs..
Yeah that would be cool. The Aputure MCs we have can be charged wirelessly, but it was much cheaper to build the USB hub.
