    So good! Awesome idea. Definitely keen for part two. I have a wall charger that quickly turns into a mess. Would be cool to see a portable power solution next.

    I wonder if the heat would be an issue as you put all power cables under the foam board. Maybe a few holes on the sides might help with that.

      Yes of course ! Never do that

      It's plastic not foam so doesn't really insulate at all and isn't airtight, so no problems so far. BUT it's also always charged open. Version 2 uses battery banks and does have a lil fan to circulate air around so can be used when closed. I should probably make a follow-up vid for it

    Damn son, didn't know you were so handy... DANdy. MkII needs a microwave for spontaneous pizza pockets.

    Can you tell me what the sheet was that you hid your wires beneath? Thx.

      It's called "Corflute" here in Australia but googling "corrugated plastic" should help you find a hardware store near you with it

    Thanks so much for the tutorial! I am about to make one myself. What sizes are the netted pouches? Did you glue them to your case?

    • @BuyersGuyd
      @BuyersGuyd  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's just netting that a glued in yeah, so not a specific size, just whatever would fit. You can buy trunk organisers that might fit

    Hi there. So I am about to build my own and I was wondering what size your case has or if you, as of now, has made any improvements? The foam you use, is this hard or soft foam?. Thanx for your time :-)

      @BuyersGuyd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No real changes lately, Its been working really well.
      The case is the Lykus HC-3810 from Amazon and it's not foam it's corflute which is basically corrugated plastic so it's quite hard but cut-able.
      Hope your build goes well!

    Where do you store the batteries while traveling?

    • @BuyersGuyd
      @BuyersGuyd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All the batteries fit in my larger pelican case in a Battery section. If you got a taller case for the chargers though you could store them in that

      @@BuyersGuydah ok, I designed a modular 3d printed solution to store batteries in a small pro case. I was wondering if people would want a dedicated battery case

    All the stuff that mostly warms up. is trapped below the plastic sheet.

    • @BuyersGuyd

      There's barely any heat and the thing plastic can vent through the side anyway. But gen2.0 does have fans so it can charge while closed
