I think this is an absolute banger. And now that it’s been out for a few years you can routinely find it for around $20. There’s a ton of content in the box for that price. Thanks for the review Luke!
This is a perfect review, Luke. You have really mastered the length, pace and presentation of your reviews and it’s really noticeable that you’ve put in the extra effort to get to this point with your videos. Well done.
I also LOVE you showing the rule book page by page...another thing others are not doing. All you need now is a Green Screen while you are standing on the board game while reviewing. LOL Now that would be something completely different.
Ha ha I ain't go no green screen tech or skills ! :P But yeah I was struggling to come up with enough B-Roll to fill the videos and I figured, well, why not show how the book is laid out?
Great review. I watched your last Broken Meeple Show video and your efforts are paying off. And, your video clip insert game is the best in the business. :)
Much appreciated! Appreciate it! The down side is that it takes me even longer to edit, yet doesn't build any extra viewership (compared to someone who just switches on the camera and talks), but it's a better video all around. But I do enjoy using the clips when I can!
Agree with other this is really good stuff and a great review. I rarely watch reviews of games I actually own.. why? as I've got it... but I actually watched the whole thing. Personally I think this game could find a place in most peoples collections, it's cheap, doesn't take up much shelf space, easy to learn, quick and fills a nice genre gap so relatively unique IMO. Yes it's very space invaders and Xcom Base building but it's still very different ..well at least to me.
I love the video 😄😄😂. I just bought this a couple of days ago lightly used for 20 euros. It wasn't even on my list, but ai had seen all the hype and since In my fb groups I saw a lot of people buying it and almost none selling it, I thought it must be good. I don't know I haven't received it yet. But even if it's not that good, at that price and with all this content I bet it will be making his money by the 5th time I play it. I also like your videos, did I mention that? 👏👏👏
Great video! I finally had to break down and grab this one. It will likely be one of the last games to arrive now that I have stopped buying new games for a while. I still have a load of KS games coming, but it is time for me to cull my collection and stop adding to it. My wife let me add one last shelf, for 5 total, so I need to make that work for now.
Great review. Love the pacing and the b-roll helps a lot to get a feel for the game. The review has helped confirm this game needs to be in my collection... Once it comes back in stock. Thanks Luke!
Glad you enjoyed it! The down side is that it takes me even longer to edit, yet doesn't build any extra viewership, but it's a better video all around.
@@TheBrokenMeeple I think viewership is elastic (as in: does not respond instantly to changes). The videos are ever more refined. And I believe you will see viewership keep increasing over the next quarter as more people stumble on or have the newer videos shared. The effort you put in doesn't go unnoticed and is appreciated!
Get both.. but I'd say it will come down to being able to find a copy of either is the main issue ATM. Looking on Zatu they are both the same price @ £25.. again they are not expensive relatively so why restrict yourself to just one of them as they are very different games.
I recently added UFS to my collection. So far I've only played with Roswell flipping a few boards to increase the difficulty and I'm quite impressed. UFS looks like a keeper that will join Friday, Warps Edge and a couple of Tiny Epic games as solo filler games.

Another great video as predicted. Again, showing more images was a great change on your videos. Thanks for your reviews.

Great review and fun graphics. I’m hoping there are more solo games truly designed for one player.
New format is nice. Still love the tv clip insertions. Funny.
Thanks, it's an editing nightmare, but I'm praying that as more get released in this format, they'll get noticed more.
This is your best review yet. High energy, fast, confident. This is who you are.
MADE MY DAY! Thank you!

I was I have to admit especially proud of remembering the Austin Powers line! :P
Another fantastic review. Thanks Luke!
My pleasure!
Bro was referring to mage knight in the summary also good review I really enjoyed it
Glad you enjoyed!
Nice review! Loving the B-roll

Is there a panda mothership expansion?! Thanks for the review, I love this game. I hope more solo games like this are produced in the future
Maybe we could ask The Dice Tower for a promo expansion for the panda?

Happy to hear you do Sofia! :-) Cheap games are great for just trying out. If you don't like it, not a big deal, trade it, move on.
i really need to get the boxed version of this game ive been playing the PNP at my desk for months just gotta find stock lol nice review! Stay Hexy!
Never saw the PNP version but if you like that one, then yeah grab it when you can.

Ha ha, you have to fight for your shelf space eh?
@@TheBrokenMeeple I didn't, but when my entire collection was viewed, it was decided that it was big enough
Looking sharp! ;-)
Thank you! Been a while since I donned the shirt.
Thanks for the great review. I’ve ordered the game. Do you recommend saving the campaign for last after you have gotten tired of the other modes?
It won't take you long to get through the basic and full games, once you're comfortable with the game then crack on!
@@TheBrokenMeeple Thank you so much for the quick response!

@@WendyGa good advice!
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
Have you played Warp's Edge? I'm trying to decide which solo game to get between that and UFS.
I have not, only heard the name.
@@TheBrokenMeeple Its a solo bag-builder and looks like a lot of fun (I've heard people say it replaces Coffee Roaster for them)
That's a bold claim as I do love Coffee Roaster. . . .

nice - two cge games in 2020 that people are talking about. I think you would prefer arnak over this.. have you tried the solo? thoughts?
I prefer Arnak as a whole, that was the review before (with dodgy focus! :P) Tried solo in both and enjoy them both.
@@TheBrokenMeeple Thanks Luke
Awsome and hard game

Hey, what do you prefer between this, Warps Edge and let's add Friday for fun.
Don't forget Coffee Roaster ;-)
