This is the BEST video I have ever seen. Thank you thank you thank you! You put this together to nicely. I can understand and you knew what you needed to do from your reference starter journal next to you, OMG, finally a clean and precise envelop journal that I enjoyed and understand. Not to mention easy to follow. I am now inspired to do my envelope journal with more confidence thanks to your well done video! I love it! Mahalo Nut (thank you very much)
Thanks so much for leaving such a lovely comment! I had only been crafting for such a short time when I made this and it is great to see so many enjoying it ☺ Envelopes are so much fun to play around with like this and I love that we can use the old beaten up ones still. Hope you enjoy your creation 🙂🌼
Thanks so much! I do love my junk too 🙂 I work with a lot of digitals and shop things at present but always try and slip my junk into my creations as well 😆
Hi, I'm new to your channel and I made this journal and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process whilst you made yours and made it for a friend who was very ill, it made her Day, a great project to tackle, fantastic, thank you for making my friend happy.
@@debbiebreen6276 I did recently make a little booklet using business envelopes, I decorated with some digitals but you could easily replace with book pages: th-cam.com/video/PO9qp2QpmBA/w-d-xo.html It is a three video series and the rest are not too far back in the videos on my channel :)
I just got two big boxes of envelopes from someone!! Right when I got home I jumped into the tutorial and completed my first envelope journal!! So easy, thank you for the tutorial! I just need to cover and embellish now. 🎉😍 And you were right there’s so many ways to assemble and once I got the hang of it I went on to do my own flips and additions to it!! 🤩
That is awesome! I am glad you found it useful as I was still so new to papercrafting at this time ☺ Since this make I have kept all envelopes and have so many now 😅 Must make more of these myself 😆 Thanks so much for letting me know how you went 🤗💕
Brilliant!!! I love how you made this 3 years ago and it is still so up to date. I just got my envelopes that I have saved to make one of these envelope journals. Thank you for sharing! ❤
I’ve seen so many people attribute this style journal to someone else…but I do believe you were the original. So creative, and great tutorial. Thank you! ♥️
Thanks so much, but I definitely was not the original 😅 Although I did not follow any tutorial as I wanted to make it in my own style - bit of an experiment 🙂 Have a great Christmas
I just discovered you via a fellow journal maker. She frequently speaks of your videos. Therefore I needed to have a look. Love your Work!!!! Thank you so much for sharing. Roz from western. rural Pennsylvania, US
Oh, that's great Bernie - it is a real thrill when people want to make something you have made! I wasn't sure any one would like this when I made the first one xxx
I thought you did a marvelous job explaining each envelope and why you were using which ones & where! I too am anxious to get going on the next steps! Thank you for doing this project again!
Awesome :) Thank so much for the lovely feedback, I am enjoying making this again as I had no idea what I was doing the first time - still don't know much but it's still fun :) xxx
That was interesting to watch your process , I need to collect some envelopes, here in the uk we don’t get double window envelopes, I know it doesn’t matter.
I like that idea too Magz - will be making one like that sometime. I also love the collaging people do with the different patterned insides - amazing xxx
Stupidly easy haha! I love it but I cut all my envelopes wrong so I’m having to make top to go into each other. I open them by cutting on the opening side! I’m really confused but I’m not giving up. I’ve been 2 days and hopefully I have control tomorrow
That's the spirit Evelyn! You could always use a paper hinge to put your envelopes together too, since you have cut them this way. Just cut a strip of paper 1-1and a half inches wide and as long as needed to slip in your envelopes, fold it in half length-ways then slip one half in one envelopes and stick and the other half in the other envelope so they fold. Good luck with it and most of all is to enjoy it! xxx

No doesn't matter, I tend to cover one of them over anyway. My Mum was giving me her envelopes so between those and mine I ended up with so many! :)
Wow, I love it Nat =D Your work is amazing =D
Thanks Corina xxx
You are welcome Nat xxx
This is a great little journal, I use all my envelope to make journals but I just split them open and sew them lol tfs Nat ....Kia Kaha...

I love this video however if you use fabric glue you don't have to have two types of glue it sticks instantly and securely....love my fabri-tac!!!
Thanks Maurice, and agree! I hate glue stick and prefer to use either fabric glue or tacky glue these days - especially around the edges of things!
❤
You definitely need to get more organized before making a video. Hard to watch.
As this was 3 years ago, I would like to say I am much more organised now 😆 .................but that would probably be a lie 😁🤪
