Natasha makes gorgeous junk journals and she is super creative. My very first junk journal was Natasha's envelope's journal. She does everything herself. One of my favorite videos is her paper beads "class." A wonderful artist with an amazing personal story.
Love the way you used the sewing pattern tissue, Barbara. I’m glad you liked it. It’s a very cheap option from second hand shops here in Australia; well Tasmania anyway. I’m tackling Dephemerember (2021) with a sewing theme, so I’m putting the sewing pattern tissue to good use too. Keep the videos coming - LOVE them!! And thank you!! 🤗🤗
My new favorite technique!! Glue and scrunch! You never get the exact look twice. Your antique stamps are so fun too! I can see those sitting on someone’s desk 100 years ago. They’d use them everyday. Making the handles grungy and smooth from daily use. Thanks for sharing this process. ♥️♥️♥️
Barbara you have more wisdom than you give yourself credit for. I love your humility in sharing your mistakes and shortfalls. I know that you struggle with perfection issues but you are so endearing to your viewers when you just show your courage to take chances and sometimes find that decisions made are a bit disappointing. To most of us you become even more special in being able to forgive yourself and laugh because it is all trial and error and there can always be another time to make more mistakes or even repeat ones made previously. You have come a long way in your personal growth and your crafting experiences and you can certainly hold your head up higher knowing that thousands of people love you and admire your artistic talents.
I can't help it I just love watching you craft and think and 🎵 adjust whenever something doesn't go as planned. 😊 this is a lovely idea sweetie, so simple but so gorgeous 💕👍 sending a big hug
I love it so much Barbara! I love the way you make your videos light and the felling they have we could stay with forever! So nice! Love your videos! ♥️
I had already seen Natasha's video and loved what she'd done, so I was wondering how you would apply your style. You did not disappoint, of course! I love your style so much and I got so excited Eben you really grunged things up!🥰 I always love watching your videos. You are adorable, so talented and so witty and fun. I definitely want to watch how you made your tree stamps because one can never have too many stamps or trees in their lives! Love you!💗
Thanks for showing us your wonderful take on Treasure Books' ideas (love her channel). I am pretty sure that I can learn from (and do quite successfully) your mistakes, my mistakes and everyone else's mistakes!
Beautiful li'l journal in a matter of hours. I agree, time away (a few hours or a couple days... OK, it was a week...) gives me a new perspective too. Nicely done baby girl. XOX, MomK. ♥️🤗🌵
👍👍The junk mail envelope made a gorgeous cover! I love Natasha's channel too. I'm always grateful when crafters don't edit out mistakes in order to kindly save us learners time and effort.🤗🥰
Oh my goodness! I love your journal. Love your laugh and sense of humor, your videos are so entertaining and inspirational. Thank you for sharing with us 💕
Another piece of beautiful art, Barbara. Love it!!! I agree walking away and coming back to project for fresh eyes. For me, sometimes I get frustrated while working, not liking the outcome. That’s when I know I have to take a break. As always, love your videos !!! 💜💕💜
Uuuuuh! I LIKE IT! No, you don't say that too often, but I'm realizing that I begin to use your vocabulary the more videos I watch on your channel.... Ehm.... Explanation please 🤪😅
That came out beautiful. I like the sewing paper. I have a lot of it. I still make some of my clothes. Love seeing. I'm getting ready to finish my great grands throws. I'll just be glad when It warms up. We're getting a lot of rain 🌧️ still. Love you too. 👍🤗🤗🤗🔵
One of my favorite projects of Natasha, @Treasure Books! She is amazing ! You have to have her on your podcast soon! 💖😀 You needed to screen shot her instructions lol. Before you added the gold I started to see it look like leather which would be a cool look. Tfs
This is “BEAUTIFUL!!” Love the Colors!! I’ve learned a lot just by Watching!! (Especially with that Liquid Matte Liguidex!! I didn’t know you could use that as a Glue!! I Would LOVE to See your Journal decorated!! (That would definitely Help ME)!! I Love Your Style!! You are Really Gifted!! I’m a New Sub & I’m New at this!! But you’ve “inspired me!” Thank You!!🙌🙌💓🙏🙏👁📒🥰
Those leaves and tree on the tag came out beautiful. Loved how you transformed that plain envelope into something beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us!
Ich hab auch schon 2 solcher Briefumschlag-Journale nach Natashas Video gemacht (mein Einstieg ins JunkJournaling) und es ist sehr interessant, wieder eine neue Variante davon zu sehen! Danke Barbara! Liebe Grüße aus dem Salzburger Land🤗
I'm always amazed how an ordinary boring envelope can be turned into something cool! And this is really one of those examples! 🤩 Just love the way you use the pattern papers and number stamps. Simple yet genius! The true spirit of junk journaling (according to me at least) And your attitude towards your mishaps makes me giggle! 😅 I will use these wonderful ideas! Shukraan jazilaan! 🤗🕊️
Love it! I have made some following the Treasure Books video. A hint for wrinkles with the tissue paper- before you put it on crunch up the tissue into a ball and then open it back up to put it on.
Nice take on Treasured Books. I enjoy watching her channel also. I just saw a few of your episodes from 2 years ago using some Daphne's Dairy items and your style has definitely changed since then. It is so interesting how that happens. I've enjoyed those as well so I can see a binge watch coming on 😏. Hugs from Indiana. 💜
You don’t say anything too often! You just got teased recently by two lovely friends❤️🥰🤪😂!!! Saw this with Natasha and love your take on it, like another subbie I put this on to do later, looks like later has arrived! x
Ok I'm back! Lol this is such a great insert. I must do one for mine instead of letting it sit, full of old memories. I'm sure to make some new mistakes. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤣 Also, I need to ditch the mod-podge and get this matte medium. It looks so silky when it's dry. 😘💐

I'm in Australia too and received some online products from spotlight packaged with old pattern paper!
Stamps are great! Love the vintage ones and classics and florals!

I love Natasha from Treasure Books. Her ideas are magical like yours!
You don’t realize your sayings until you hear Luise repeating them in your “voice”. Ha! I loved hearing your banter on the switch videos.

Nicely done, Barbara. It just occurred to me that I haven't made a TN since I first started journal making, roughly 4+ years ago.
