Hey Maggie, just found your channel and what a perfect project to start my “Maggie adventure”. I ❤️❤️❤️ this envelope project and will dig out my stash of 6x6s.
I love this book. This would be nice to give out to family members, even if they only use it for decoration on a small table or mantle. Thank you for the share.
How cute! Thank you for such specific instructions. I watched this video twice. I’m thinking I could make my own envelopes, also! Great inspiration, thanks again! 🙂
Love these artsy projects - great way to use up all the papers and envelopes I hoard (yes, I said it!). Thanks for the easy instructions - and making templates from vellum is genius!
Lol! Some people say we're hoarders, others say we're packrats! Either way, I have a lot of them too. LOL. I appreciate you watching. I'm glad you enjoyed this project.
They really are so easy to make, I've already made a few more and am going to work on more over the weekend. They are a lot of fun to make. Thanks for watching Yvonne
Hi there, love envelope projects, this is a great idea, love the papers you have used, they look like Graphic 45 papers which are my favorite papers. Can't wait to try this.
These are so great, and, even though you did do the prep work, I can see how they would still go together quite quickly! I think all my girlfriends are getting these for Christmas! Thank you so much for another great idea! By the way, you're a wonderful teacher! ❤
Love it! Love the random papers! This will be a brilliant project with regards to making. a themed project! For example Alice in wonderland etc! ❤❤❤I will re-visit this video with regards to making themed projects!
Omg maggie this is quite a compact folio filled with pockets galore and even a journal. Im glad you did most of the work ahead because we probably will have different size envelopes. Im glad you got that upside down so we will be more aware of that. Im thinking i will try this in my daughter's seemingly endless journal for the spread ill do for judy garland her fav of all time actress but ill only put a few pages as a journal for her to write in. This needs to be saved as im sure i will have to use it as a reference. Thanks for all the time you put into preparing this tutorial for us.😊❤❤❤hugs from NJ
Thank you so much Evelyn. These would make great travel journals where you can also add pictures, receipts and all kinds of souvenirs to the pockets. Thanks for watching!
HEY THERE MAGGIE, WELL LOVE THE PROJECT!!!! I SURVIVED THE, 2 HURRICAINS HERE IN FL., TONS OF DEBRIS TO CLEAN UP ON MY PROPERTY, SOME REPAIRS TO GET FIXED!!! JUST GOT POWER BACK, SO TRYING TO CATCH UP ON MISSED VIDEOS, & TO RELAX SOME!!! Do take care. Fl.
This is great journal! I like pockets but I also must have space for writing, and this envelope journal has it both ❤ I can’t wait for tomorrow to make my own (it’s 11pm when I’m watching this video). TFS ❤
I’m so inspired by you! Your calm voice makes it so easy to watch and follow along! I made something in bed last night following along with you! I’m so excited to make this fun flippy envelope with a journal inside!! I have gathered some great papers today from Hobby Lobby (40%off!) and they had just one left of the Haberdashery kind like you have. I just adore that one! Thank you for your easy to follow instructions and Thank you for sharing!!
That was really cool!!! Really like this idea. Thanks for sharing. Nice job preparing for the video. Somewhere in the video I heard something roll off the mat or something, seems clumsy was occurring all by itself! Those days can really push the buttons!! 😂 Thank you for sharing❤ enjoyed the video and idea.
Love this Maggie! I made my first envelope journal yesterday. Now I’d like to make a topper like this to go with it. I love shopping Temu! I have the same decorative papers 😊
Love love love this 👌💕 Definitely going on the To Do list 🥰 Thank you for sharing 🌷🌷🌷 Blessings~~~ P.S. Of course I had to go on over to Temu and have myself a little (okay big 😜) shop... loved that blueprint paper 👍
Hi Maggi 🤗 Comme c est "pretty"!!😍😍 J aime beaucoup !! Je vais faire le tour des tiroirs pour trouver des enveloppes ! J en ai plein, mais des usagées, donc le rabat est collé... 😘✨🍀
Hi Isabelle, I'm so glad you enjoyed this project. You can still use your used envelopes by cutting them open and using an extra piece of paper for use as the flap. I hope that helps. Thanks for always watching!
This was my first Envelope Journal, and I admit I was a little bit skeptical about it. But then I made one, and had such a challenging, messy and fun time. I loved the result so much, that I went and bought envelopes!!! and made another journal, and then I made another one. Yes, 3 journals as of now. I think maybe I'm getting addicted...😉
I'm brand new to junk journaling and ran across your video. I would like to create a few "thankful/grateful" journals for family for Thanksgiving/November. Do you have any videos on making something like this, and if so, will you please share the link? Or if not, would you consider creating a video that would help novice junk journal crafters like me? Also, I am truly embracing the "junk" in the title, so I am only using supplies I have around. I have bought a few stamps, glue, and necessary supplies, but would love more tutorials on how to use junk that comes into our homes that most people throw away. Thank you so much!!
I appreciate your comment Angela. I don't have anything like that right now. I'll have to look into that and see what I can come up with. Thank you so much for watching
I love this journal! You have a wonderful teaching style, which I very much appreciate. I ordered the small punch and the large needles from your list, but do you know what mm the eyelets/washers are? I have to choose a size on Temu. Thank you!
Hi Mandy, it's called an Eternity Pencil. I bought it from Temu. Here is the link in case you are interested. I don't understand why the eraser is kept in the pencil tube, but I love it. You can also purchase extra tips for it. share.temu.com/vttwxV3RNrA
