Stainless Steel TIG welding

In this video, I am welding some 1/4" thick 304L stainless lap joints.
Stainless steel is not very thermally conductive so heat can build up.
That is why its important to establish the puddle quickly and start moving quickly too.
A gas lens helps a lot when tig welding stainless steel and a jazzy 10 ceramic works great with a gas lens.
