- I forced myself to Platinum Dark Souls 3! In this video I get the Platinum Trophy for dark souls 3. This is one of the HARDEST souls games to platinum due to the difficult bosses and soul draining Cov farming. Dark Souls 3 has a Platinum difficulty of 7/10, with a minimum requirement of 3 playthroughs and a time recommendation of 80 hours... and it was worth every second.

About the Nameless king and the covenant the rest is easy
If u haven't tried the dlcs try them one of the bosses has THREE phases
Never saw someone defeating Yhorm without using the StormRuler and just letting Sigward do the whole magic thing...
i feel like that genuinely might make the fight more fun than the intended way 🤔
it makes the fight alot more interesting as you're the one pulling aggro and siegward doing the fighting

Well then you haven't heard of backlogs he had to replay the whole game because sigward died the first time
Seeing someone else have to grind those silver knights on the stairs instead of me is kind of cathartic in a way haha. Congrats man!

The way you defeated yhorm genuinely made my day, never have I ever seen someone beat him this way thinking its the intended way. The fact that you didnt find the weapon yourself and let siegward do the trick for you as you distract yhorm… honestly im speechless, great video man ♥️

i recently finished getting all platinums for the dark souls series and i can agree the ds3 covenant farm was pure pain compared to the others

Platinumed ds1, 2, des and bb, but when I saw how much grinding it takes for ds3, I juat quit... Haven't played it for almost 2 years
But maybe once I finish sekiro, I'll get back to doing it.

man this plat is PAINFUL, the Anor Londo farming was the worst, still love this game to the death
I also got this platinum trophy last year. It was a lot of fun and a interesting way to play this awesome game. However, farming the silver knights and skeletons in the catacombs almost drove me insane and made me quit. But im proud i completed all of that. Nice video

PS : The 2 DLCs of DS3 are also incredible but there’s no trophy however you could do a little playtrough of it especially the 2nd one is also a masterpiece so you can’t go wrong with this :^)
Great video, ds3 platinum grind is very boring. I know I may be gatekeeping but playing these games without summons is a whole different experience, you actually learn the bosses' patterns and the feeling of achievement is unmatched, you feel proud of yourself because you did everything on your on. Again, I'm not obligating you to do anything, it's just a suggestion, it's such a great feeling
"... but Dark Souls 1 is better." I used to think the same until I played both games without summons. Dark Souls 3 end-game boss fights are top tier. Faster, smoother, and more fun when you get it right.

I never really summoned in souls games because bosses get 30% more hp and i dont think its worth it, the npc summons arent worth most of the time
Summons are honestly so broken op in almost every fight just to take aggro away from you for free damage. Makes some of the boss fights so boring to watch and play.
Seeing someone breeze through crystal sage but struggle with the princes fight is so funny. It was the exact opposite for me, genuinely think I died to CS more times than every other boss combined

i was grinding over 20 hours, i think around maybe 30 even. This game made me hate myself and every decision i made to that day.
GZ man, just went back and finished the plat for the game this weekend and honestly loved every second of it after the covenants were done.

I think you made your game experience way worse than what it could’ve been by not fighting boss fights alone

@@MacAttackPlays understandable. You could’ve also farmed them with a friend outside of killing bosses by just invading and killing each other, same with the shackles from the catacombs haha. Did the same and saved me a a lot of time. The other ones you have to grind tho. I still have PTSD from the silver knights at Anor Londo
This platinum fucking traumatized me, so I’m helping others out, I’ve got all the rings in the game, if anyone wants me to drop them some rings and save them a playthrough or two let me know!

By far I think the worst part about getting the platinum is the covenant stuff. Even on release it was super tedious, and it’s a million times worse now that the player base is smaller.
Not even kidding I have never beat dancer at the normal time I always thought that dancer was the third boss

How you platinumed this in 80 hours is unreal... Took me that long for 1 play through plus the DLCs. Admittedly new to DS but man 3 playthroughs and the covenant grind has be questioning the worth of even doing it.
If you ever got the time I highly recommend doing Yakuza 0, the platinum might be a bit tedious of some certain reasons but it’s a masterpiece from my perspective

I finally platinumed dark souls 3 today! I’ve done the entire soulsborne series now including sekiro, gotta say DS3 definitely most tedious out of the series, but still peak gameplay the whole time, great video!

I really would like to do all Dark Souls DLC in the future
Imagine if they added a secret ring called "the one ring' (yes that one) which gives 100% soul increase, discovery and increases damage taken by 100% and it can only be acquired after collecting all other rings
Ive plat all souls games, but DS3 took the absolute piss with the farming. I would recommend going on discord and farming it with someone else

Nice work. I literally just platinumed DS3 myself... the grind in this one is real and very painful. It took me 75 hours to platinum, and almost half of that was literally just grinding. I hope FromSoft never do that again as it kind of ruins the experience. But otherwise great game...
I agree the Cov farming was very unnecessary
I did this and the hardest part the the darkmoon covenant. It gives you a respect for everything in the game to gwt every achievment.
It’s not like that for everyone, the proofs only took me like 4 hours but the vertebra shackles took me triple that time so for me the vertebra shackles were way harder

i love when people dont use the storm ruler that you grab at the thrown in the boss arena for Yhorm....its what Siegward was using in that fight, and it's just there the entire time waiting to be picked up haha
I used the dragonslayer greataxe when I first played fun fact lightning clutch ring boosts damage

I just finished DS3 for the first time, and I’ve been waiting to finish it so I can watch this video without spoilers. Honestly (assuming none of what was in your vid was DLC), I missed alot (Nameless King for example)

You should go try the dlc bosses some of the best and hardest bosses in my opinion
I just completed Dark Souls 3, and the farming for covenant item almost made me gave up on this completion. I don't know what they thought when they made this drop rate. But getting all the rings not better either. I am so happy I am over with it. Never again... Btw I spent 83 hours doing this.
I also just got the plat but weird part is that u said the proofs took u the longest but for me they only took like 4 hours, no items took from me more than 4 hours except for the vertebra shackles, those alone took me like 12 hours, dark souls just has weird drop rates and is super random
Grinding the convent took me like 20 hrs man I stg very painful

If there’s one thing I’m grateful for, it’s not having had to farm the blade of darkmoon covenant. Luckily I had already garnered all the items I needed from the pvp I had done a year or so prior
Wow, those covenants items really just sucked the fun out of trying to 100% this. Now im never finishing
DS3 plat gives me flashbacks to getting wrecked by gank squads in ringed city invasions so many times that as soon as the plat popped i set fire to the disc
but sunbroing nameless king for people for medals in the sunlight cov was a highlight

There are 3 knights there you can grind for a proof of a concord kept, in fact all the grinds have an extra enemy or 2 that can drop the items
Meanwhile me beating this game solo

Yeah this is why I just did coop for the medals in Dark Souls 2. I spent about 5 hours just farming the sunlight medal and got from level 60 to 125 just killing the one knight who drops the medal by the bonfire. Soooooo boring. The rest of the covenants for this game I did PvP.

I’ve plat’d every soulsborne ring game and I already know. The worst trophy (other than the classic demon souls ones) is the Darkmoon trophy in this game. So many souvenirs of reprisal…

I got this platinum like 2 weeks ago after my last attempt in 2017 haha…. It’s was an emotional roller coaster but definitely worth the ride. I wanna platinum run bloodborn so bad…. But it’s locked on like 30 fps :( never played that game. It’s the only souls game that I haven’t tried
