His 4 rotor is absolutely insane and what he has done with it, the numbers hes been able to achieve as well as the reliability is unseen in the rotary world but this beast is definitely a rival to his 4 rotor. For you guys that like rotary, i definitely recommend his channel, his 4 rotor build is insane and he has a video or two of a 12 rotor engine that use to live life in a race boat

I’m curious what the weight distribution on that 6 rotor is like and how it affects the handling since it’s basically like having 3 of the original engine from the car in it Edit: watched him go over the car and I’m very surprised to hear that he was able to get the weight ballast more towards the rear, but also sick to know that he acknowledged the fact and knew that the front would be significantly heavier so he actually put in the effort to balance that out

The forward push hand brake is really awsome i see that moving into FD and D1 some day. It reminds me of the thumb brake for superbikes in motogp and wsbk instead of using the rear foot brake they have a thumb brake now for the leg dangle aka the doctors dangle. Very cool
Love to see Next Rotary Billet evolution of housing based seals, inconel printed Rotors, passive combustion plugs with direct injection like on latest Benz engines and lastly revisit Suzuki rotary inlet butterfly valves that allow full air speed control.
Anyone remember the 6 Rotor RX3 or M6? I think it was an RX3 and was a show/skid car and I believe the M6 was a drift car. I don’t remember the shops but pretty sure they were both in AUS as well. Insane pitch those motors can reach. Can’t wait to see Dave Mazzei’s 5 Rotor race car. Supposed to sound like an F1 V10. That would mean the 6 sounds like the old 22,000 rpm V12s. Incredible!
It was a rx4 built by ppre all 3 or 4 6 rotors in the world have been built by ppre well the motor has there is one in Japan aswell thay built and sent over no one even comes close to new Zealand and ppre when it comes to rotors
Yes ppre have built a few 6 rotors, most visible are the RX4 which had the first one, the first FD RX7 in China that drifts and now this billet 6 rotor FD RX7
Do you know or did/can you ask him whether that's a "6 port" build or not? Like, I know it's billet irons and whatnot, but something new that I've read about for rotary builds is to use a combo of renesis sides and REW centers to get 4 intake ports and 3 exhaust ports. The even higher version of this is to also make the intake semi-peripheral ported, so then you'd have 5 intake ports and 3 exhaust. I saw a 2-rotor make mid-300s at the wheel N/A on a setup like this and was thinking that you could do the equivalent of 3-stage v-tec on a rotary by timing when and how each of the 5 intake ports open based on throttle input and RPM.
No turbo single might be alright I had a 2 rotor fd3s and ran sequential turbos at about 14 psi max boost with some add ons intake,free flow cat,has hi power exhaust the one you put a grapefruit in I got 375 so turbos are a necessity ceramic apex seals and better oilers are the only problem I have ever had remember Vin diesel racing around with a red rx7 I beat the streets of san francisco years before that mine was a 93 r1 edition and even but a amemiya front bumper on it suspension was stock and talk about a fast car 1.3 liters and 375 h.p I think that's why turbos and rotary work well together and you might get some protection for your bumper because your liable to set it on fire
Sounds incredible, am I crazy for thinking 4 rotors sound a bit more violent through? This almost sounds like it’s not really breathing all the way, maybe just a better exhaust would do the trick?

Wicked build alright congrats, are the oil coolers getting a share of the water jets? The oil does so much of the heat transfer in rotors as it sprays oil around inside the rotor.
I mightve missed it as I did skip through the video here and there, how's the crankshaft configured? is it a true 6 rotor or is it firing like 2 3 rotors or 3 2 rotors.
I find it hilarious that people are still trying to prove that the rotaries are reliable after 30 years and they still can't hahaha. I love this build, such a different setup and the sound it makes is music to my ears.

When the levers are pushed forward for grip or lower the stance I'd assume it tempers with the alignment? No?
