Incredible that I've just watched you do that in realtime in under 8 minutes, yet the garage has just charged me for what I can only assume is multiple hours of work haha.
Well it depends on each job, many jobs can be this quick and also turn into a 1-2h job given issues with rusty seized/snapped bolts, garages also tend to charge per half hour or hour not by minute spent on a job
Salaams bro. My driveshaft on my mk2 avensis is on the way out. What I wanted to know is that does the transmission fluid come out of the gearbox when you pull the driver-side driveshaft out? Is this also a mk2 avensis? Is the bi hex socket size 30mm?
Walqumslam brother yes oil will come out from driveshaft if it doesn't that means oil is less fill it from front of gbox and driveshaft nut is 30mm some time 32mm
@@khalidhussain6786 Jzks for response bro. I’m going to iA give it a try. Do you know which transmission oil it needs? The manual doesn’t tell me. Is it easy to top up the gearbox oil? Do I just need a funnel and a pipe? Is it easy to fix the boot to the gearbox? Sorry bro. Loads of qs. I’m new to doing work on my own car. I’ve just done easy stuff like pads, discs, control arm, suspension leg. This seems harder.
Salaams bro. Any chance you can explain to me the process of putting the driveshaft back into the gearbox? You kept twisting it and then eventually hammered it in. What were you looking for when twisting?
