Not surprised you came to the same conclusion that a lot of folks have. The Ranger Tug is first on my list with the Cutwater just a step below. I have no idea what’s going on with boat designers these days - a pull out toilet? A head you can’t stand up in? No emergency cabin egress or ventilation? When you sacrifice style for practicality, you end up with neither. Less than ten or fifteen years ago you could easily get a trailerable boat that could sleep a small family of four for a weekend, some in the 23’ to 26’ foot range. Now it seems they’re really chasing the South Florida market with the open bow concept which sacrifices cabin room AND makes the boat less seaworthy in rough water.
You are spot on my friend. I still remember the days that the Florida sportsman magazine had Dusky advertising their 20ft center console with trailer and a 150hp outboard for $29,995 plus tax. You could get a walk around cabin boat in the 26’ range for under 80k. I think boat manufacturers are out of touch with the middle class consumer and are all chasing the bigger flashier market. It’s crazy!
Great comment! Spot on. Manufacturers have leaned way into center consoles and outboards (and that “look at me” party Florida market!). Center consoles eliminate family shelter from the elements, privacy, overnighting, etc. Outboards are the power of choice for a bunch of reasons (ease of maintenance, efficiency, etc.), but chew up cockpit area (relative to LOA) and swim platforms. This video was a fun, pragmatic topic. Nicely done by the channel!
Yup I agree..I own a 30 foot Bayliner Avani..88..lots of room in her..love it!..what more could you ask for
@@stevo6123 thank you sir and thank you for the positive comment! 🤙
@@PhilipRawbon-rk8uv is that the sunbridge? My buddy has a 28 bay liner with a single mercruiser and it’s an awesome boat!
So well spoken- nice low pressure tone
Thanks! We appreciate that! 🤙
Yep! Stand up head and kitchen rock! Plus the windows in the cabin does not make it feel tight!!
Absolutely! That’s one of the main things we loved about it! 🤙
So, just for something to think about. You mentioned going to Bahamas, when your going to be out in open waters from Miami to Bahamas, it’s better to have 2 engines in case one goes out for some reason, you can always use the second engine to get you back to land. Just an FYI
Yeah I can see that. The problem is that most issues (with newer four strokes) isn’t a mechanical failure it’s a fuel issue. Specifically, water in fuel. And in that case it doesn’t matter if you have 1,2 or 4 engines. For the times we plan on heading it the Bahamas we can justify a second motor cost. We also only plan on crossing in groups and probably never alone. Thanks for the comment! 🤙
Multiple engine boats have multiple fuel tanks. Both engines are usually completely separate from each other. Including the electrical systems. At least mine is. @@perfectfitboating
Not necessarily. Our boat originally had twin motors and just one fuel tank. And Many twin engines come with single fuel tanks. I’ve seen applications like the ones you state but maybe more so in the bigger boats that have the space for two fuel tanks. 🤙
I got my boat fitted with 2 completely separate fuel systems(ignition, fuel lines, tanks and batteries). Yes it cost a bit but the peace of mind when going offshore.@@perfectfitboating
Smart!
The Solara 250 has a long track record. It was originally marketed as the inboard-powered Cutwater 24 (thus that huge under-deck lazarette), then evolved into the outboard-powered Cutwater 248, and now Solara has been spun off into its own subsidiary. The amount of interior room is amazing for a boat that can be trailered without an oversize load permit.
Wow we didn’t know that! Thank you for the info! We loved it and it had tons of room for its size. Thank you so much for the comment!
These are basically Weekenders I have a Searay 215 weekender at 22 feet and it is quite comfortable but a little bigger would be nice.
We really like those searays in the 24ft range. You get tons of space and it’s very comfortable to stay overnight. 🤙
Great job sharing your thoughts on these boats. Can’t wait to see the next video. Family friendly boating.
Thanks steva! ♥️
*The SOLARA is the best of that group, and now is cheaper then your quote. Fluid Motion does a hell of a job with that package, FIRST boat my wife and I BOTH agree on!!!*
We loved it and thought it was the best! If the wife agrees, brother youre golden! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating great reviews
Thank you!
Cabin/pilot house boats are awesome boats to be able to spend a weekend out on the water and they can be found with lots of comfort as well. Awesome video 👍
Thank you brother! We love them!🤙
Great video, captain now what I took from the video. Those boats require so much maintenance. Just think about it when you come back from fishing for probably 3 to 4 days spending some time in it. You'll be a slave cleaning those boats. So you can keep your value on those boats and the price Are very high. I know they have a lot of equipment but most of it. It is not needed for spending a couple of days out there. That's my opinion, captain. Maybe if you're retired , you'll be able to use that boat more often , but as young Ask you and your wife are You won't probably have the time to spend weeks in the Bahamas too often.
My suggestion is keep enjoying the boat you have. Which is paid for and later. I'm moving to something a little bit more comfortable Something that doesn't break the bank. Because trust me in the past about boats and I regret purchasing them the long run but the one I have now is not big but it does the job. Even if is crooked LOL.
Cap you are absolutely right. We won’t be changing boats anytime soon. And if we do decide to upgrade, it won’t be much bigger but maybe something with a better cabin like a pilot house. Youre totally right. A lot of the features on these boats aren’t totally necessary. I’m a big fan of keeping it simple. The more crap you have the more likely it is to break. And you are so right about having to clean it. Imagine coming back from a trip and having to spend 2 days cleaning all these extra things! Thanks for commenting cap! 🤙
@perfectfitboating anytime cap. And thank you and your wife for taking us to the boat show for free😉🛥⚓️
@OutOnTheReef our pleasure cap 🤣🤙
I 100% agree on your #1 pick of boats. I've been looking at a few different brands that have the same layout and really like them.
Thanks Douglas! This was a clear cut winner to us! Thanks for the comment! 🤙
Love this video, tired of seeing tours of yachts that are way outta reach. You guys covered a lot, great camera work and delivery.
Thanks Mark! We really appreciate that! Just trying to make videos that more regular folk can relate to! 🤙

I own the Solara 25 CW. It is a fantastic boat and fantastic company. I had a Ranger Tug R27. It was a beautiful boat. I wanted to downsize so switched to Solara. Get the Solara!!
That’s so awesome! So glad you love it! We loved it too!🤙
I too have been looking at this boat. Lot of features that would make staying aboard comfortable.
It really is hard to beat! I don’t think you’ll regret it! 🤙
I thought the 29' with dual motors clicked all the boxes you were looking for. The problem with the Solara is you can't get to the bow unless you go through the front bunk.
You can it’s just a walk around style. It had grab rails to hold on to. It’s compromise so it had alot more space because it doesn’t have the pilot house style construction. We really liked that 29’ too though. Lots of space! Thanks for the comment! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating what was the cost on the trophy 29?
I purchased a cutwater 248. I love it. Ordered it the way I thought I wanted. I should not have gotten the lithium ion batteries. They will not run the AC very long at all. I purchased a $300 generator that works perfectly. I should’ve got auto pilot instead of lithium ion. How tall are you again? Lol! Good video.
Man we love those cut waters! And I figured the lithium batteries might not be worth it. That’s why I mentioned the generator I think it’s a better option.
And yes, I mention my height quite a bit 🤣. It’s on purpose though because so many people skip through the video and only watch parts they’re interested in. Ya got me🤣 thanks for watching and commenting! Hope you’re enjoying your boat!
Its amazing how much functional, useable space and amenities boat manufacturers are and have been able to build into boats under 30ft. Im sure I may be mistaken but it looks like American boat companies have finally gotten wise and started getting creative with how they package their boats like the European and Scandinavian boat companies do. Everything from sliding and folding seats integrated either into a window or serving as a double purpose sink and grill. Its great to see.
Cool video guys! Could we maybe get more of what the outside of the boat looks like, at least briefly, before you give a quick onboard walthrough? Thanks!
We absolutely will! We have another boat show in a week we’re headed to and we’ll do that for sure! Thanks for commenting!
@@perfectfitboating Thanks! Have you guys reviewed the Botnia Targa and the Sargo boats? Theyre rugged boats that you could "weekend" in them. Looking forward to your next vid!
@shmac96 I’ve heard of those but weve never seen them in person. We have to make out to one of the shows in the northeast or Pacific Northwest to see boats like that. They seem to be slowly creeping down here to south Florida. The targas are sweeeeet! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating 100%
I grew up on Cuddy Cabin boats. I am becoming a fan of the pilot house boats. They fit the needs I have to stay on the water for days and scuba dive. Thanks for sharing. I am in Myrtle Beach SC and they didnt have anything like those at our local boat show.
The older I get the more comfort I’d like in a boat. I absolutely love a pilot house boat. Maybe one day we’ll have one. We don’t get many showings down here for them. We’re going to have to take a trip to New England or the pacific north west to see what’s out there.
Thank you for commenting!
Yea, the boat you picked was the one I liked out of all of them.
Great minds think alike! 🤙
Excelente video bro ❤
Un abrazo grande nos vemos pronto
Gracias bro! Que la pases bien en Bimini! 🤙
Great choice at the end
Thank you Anthony! 🤙
The challenge with static boat shows is that you get the impression of space of the boat, but not true comfort and usability. The ridability and hull design is key to enjoyment on the ocean.
I ended up buying the Axopar 28 (the predecessor to the 29 in this video) - it arrived in January. In some ways I feel that is a better version, with a separate compartment for toilet only. It can still sleep 2+2 as you can use cabin seats folded down as a flat bed.
The huge win with an Axopar is the ride. It cruises 28-35 knots in comfort even with some sea. It is outstanding for water toys. It is good (but not optimised) for fishing. It is good for day boating with friends, although I would like a wider bow for socialising space.
All boats have their advantages.
To get on the ocean with kids/friends doing all types of activities, the Axopar won for me. 😊
Thank you so much for the comment! You’re right, it’s hard to compare boats when they’re static. Ride is definitely a huge factor when it comes down to buying a boat and the actual usability when out on the water.
I’d definitely recommend anyone looking to spend this amount of money on a boat to spend some time on the water with them. 🤙
A very special ship, friend, that I have ever seen,
Thank you for sharing the information, very interesting video,,,👍
You’re welcome my friend! Glad you liked it! 🤙
I really enjoyed your video! We are currently looking for a cabin boat for our small family of 4 (2 kids under 3). Cabin is important to us because we are located in Northeast and we would like to do some boat camping in the summer. Thank you for showing and reviewing some brands that we did not even consider before. Keep up the great work!
You’re so welcome! We’re happy the video was able to help! We’ll be headed to the Palm beach boat show in 2 weeks and plan on going aboard some weekender boats that weren’t at this show! Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤙
Looking forward to that video!
Lol that lady peeking through at 12:24 😂😂
Hahah creepin! 👀
Awesome over nighter
Definitely is! 🤙
Dude you're a great narrator.
Thank you Steve I really appreciate that! I gotta get better though! 🤙
The 1st boat you looked at (with the 9’6 beam) requires special permits to tow it. If the beam is 8’6, no special permit is required.
Thanks for the info! I wasn’t sure if it was 10’ for the cutoff 🤙
@perfectfitboating Up to 8'6" no permit is required. Up to 11 feet, an oversized load permit and banner are required. Over 11 feet, a permit, banner, and pilot cars are required. That's in Washington. Other jurisdictions may vary.
This is nice, this is nice, this is super nice, this is nice
Glad you thought it was nice too 😊
Word count please. I’m up to 150 “nice’s” . . . and counting. 😂
@@Vinnie101a there’s at least 200. Start over and count again 😁
@@perfectfitboating : Good one LOL! Actually liked your walkthroughs. It was .... err, good. 😂😂😂
@@Vinnie101a thanks man we appreciate that! 🤙
I bought Cutwater 248 a few months ago…..love it! It’s the same as Solara 25 for $20k less. The solara just has a few more luxury touches………but the Cutwater is very nicely dressed up in the interior 👍
You also might want to check out a Jeanneau NC 895…….made by Beneteau
That’s awesome! How are you enjoying it? We’ve always loved the cut water! And you’re right, the solara is basically the same just completely decked out fully loaded. We’ve seen the jeanneau before and we like that one too. They skipped out on this boat show though. Would’ve been nice to compare those too🤙
@@perfectfitboatingI’m loving the Cutwater. I’m 6’3” in bare feet and it’s the only boat that size I can stand up in the cabin. The Jeaneau was very plain interior wise. Cutwater is nicer. I get a ton of compliments at my marina
@tomdrummy4984 we noticed the headroom! I was very comfortable in there! They make an amazing boat enjoy it!🤙
@@tomdrummy4984 I love the Cutwater but even if I wanted to roll the dice and cash out the 401, so few of them come up in my area. Glad it is as nice as I thought it would be.
Great boat show
Definitely one of the better ones! 🤙
i love PILOT HOUSE BOATS
We do too! We wish we could see more of them here in sfl. We’re gonna have to take a trip to the pnw or New England boat shows! 🤙
Thanks you guys! I was really wanting to see that 29 Explorer.
At $245k, it's a little above my budget, but still close enough to make me strive harder to raise my budget. But I'll likely just have wait til next year and buy a used one that someone else took the biggest hit on. Lol
And maybe interest rates will go back down a little by then. 🤞
Youre very welcome! Glad our vid was able to help!
Might be better off waiting and getting a slightly used one! It’s an expensive! Now that I think of it, check out our video at the Sarasota boat show. There was a Turkish made boat that had a crazy good price on it and was huge! It’s called VENTO. That might fit the bill! 🤙
I set my standards by a 1987-89 268 Searay Sundancer. With a 454/Mercruiser out drive. A lot cheaper, about 48-50 mph WOT. If I had the money to buy any of the boats you showed, I’d still get the sea ray.
Those old sea rays are sweet boats and definitely a bargain! I think if you can find a clean one and even convert it to outboard you’ll have a sweet ride for a great deal! 🤙
This Solara probably has near zero wood in its structure
@@markdimaio8396 that’s correct!
Quicksilver is the lubrication line for Mercury. Like moter oil, gear oil. Bayliner is owned by Brunswick Marine Group which also owns Sea Ray and other lines of boats. Also Mercury Marine.
It’s not just the lubrication line for Mercury. They make boats like the quicksilver pilot house 605 that’s is the same boat as the trophy. This is from their website
“Quicksilver boats are manufactured in Brunswick's own factories, but for the European market several models are produced under license from Balt-Yacht shipyard, which is located in Poland.”
I've researched this type of boat and been on a few and for me I like the Cutwater's the best.
We love the cut water! It’s an awesome boat!
I’m not surprised you favored the Solara, it seems like a little higher end Ranger or Cutwater, and is the best choice for overall usefulness.
We thought so too. It’s basically a top of the line cut water with all the bells and whistles. 🤙
One year and two weeks from planned retirement, I could write a check for any of the boats you featured, but it’s just too great a percentage of my net. I’ve dreamed all my life of a boat that checks all the boxes you’re covering here, but the dream will remain just that, I believe.
Congrats on your retirement! We’ll give you our 2 cents. In a year from now, boat prices should be down another 20%. And that means the used boat market will be even lower. I think you can find something that fits the bill when you’re ready to retire.
We think you’ll be able to live out that dream, friend! Time will tell but we’re optimistic! 🤙
Wow brother. 20% you think? Well, I’ve got some time to wait, but not much. I’m mechanically inclined, and could manage a good deal of repair or refurb on a used boat, but just don’t want the hassle, so for me it’s gonna be pay the new cost up front or not at all. I’ll keep my eyes open.
Love the channel. Glad I came across it. Subbed.
@melodymakermark I Truly believe the prices will drop significantly by the end of this year. Maybe even more than 20%. You’ll get something you’ll see.
And thank you so much for the kind words and for subscribing! We appreciate you! 🤙
Pay a 1/5 of the price for a used Pursuit. Go have fun man.
I bought a 41 foot mainship and a 45 foot dock in North Carolina for 80 thousand,,we walk to dinner and live music,,,Think used always
Thr Solara cut water and ranger tug I do believe all come under the same ownership umbrella.
190 plus at least 8 or 9 for a good trailer no generator no solar means shore power for the ac a lot of money keep looking maybe in the slightly used market.
Oh we were just showing the cabin style boats. We’re happy with our boat and we won’t be changing anytime soon. Youre correct they’re all under the same umbrella. 🤙
"Thr Solara cut water and ranger tug I do believe all come under the same ownership umbrella."
Correct: Fluid Motion, LLC.
Yep that’s correct! Super nice people! Family owned!
Boston whaler has the 285 conquest
That’s true although I don’t think I remember seeing it at the show. I know they had their bigger models but I could be wrong. 🤙
At what cost? Other than the Nimbus the rest were around $260k or below. I think the Conquest, nicely optioned is north of $350. I like them but just too expensive for the ordinary persons budget
That's funny, because I thought the T29 with two seperate berths so you had room for the kids, was the clear winner.
Definitely a spacious boat. We thought the quality and the price just didn’t make sense. 🤙
Good choice…I am 6’ as well and have metal in my back…stand up head is almost a must have if you are serious about overnighting…shouldn’t have to be a contortionist like most “cuddy/overnight” type layouts
Totally agree. Comfort in the head is a necessity! 🤙
Nice video , We didn't make it to Miami this year . Two things that you should compare is Warranty ( get detailed information ) and Fiberglass layup . Is the hull being made with new techniques ? ( resin infusion / vacuum bagging , epoxy resin etc ) . Most manufacturers are building thinner hulls these days , Old school techniques can have issues . Check for customer reviews and overall satisfaction .
That’s very true! You know we tried to find a directory of what manufacturer was going to be at the show and they didn’t have a list anywhere. We literally went in blind. But you make a great point because those are huge selling factors. Many companies skimp on the glass to save money and their hulls are very thin. Thanks for the comment 🤙
Lo mejor del video fue la camarografa.😊
💯💯💯
Axopar! The best one.
That’s a great choice too! 🤙
Well you can go new if you want..an some are nice..but i'll stick with my 30 foot 88 Avnti..Bayliner..love it!
I would never go new lol. And that’s a sweet ride you have. Plenty of space. 🤙
@@perfectfitboating thanks matey!
Have you seen the Targa line of boats?
Funny you brought that up, my last comment on here was someone asking the same thing. Those are really nice boats! 🤙
Although another more pricey, I'm thinking about the Targa 37 model. Mike Porter and East Coast yachts in ME. have it and the 32 footer available in their showroom. Good luck in your search and great videos!
Thank you Robbie! 🤙
Bayliner is a Trophy owned by Brunswick who makes aftermarket Merucury engine parts called Quicksilver. Mercury is also owned by Brunswick
Correct. But in Europe, they have a quicksilver line of boats which is the trophy here in the states. It is subbed out and licensed to them. This is from their website
"Quicksilver boats are manufactured in Brunswick's own factories, but for the European market several models are produced under license from Balt-Yacht shipyard, which is located in Poland."
You're looking at low end stuff when you could spend your money on something way better slightly used PLUS, that Bayliner will fall apart after a few crossing's trust me. Im finishing a 28 Albemarle outboard conversion that I will be island hopping in. I love the trustworthy Carolina built hulls that are designed for that stuff. Take your time and a "killer" deal will come around soon with this economy. Its a boat buyers dream.
Hey brother thanks for the comment! We’re actually not looking to buy. We enjoy doing these videos to show people what’s available out in the market. We have a Grady 24 offshore and that’s the boat our channel was started off. We also have a 16 zebra flats skiff we’re restoring. But your advice still stands to anyone reading! 🤙

Everyone seems to like the concept of an affordable towable pilothouse cruiser so , where's Sea Ray's ?
If I remember right, the sea rays at the show that would’ve fallen in this size category were bow riders and anything with a cabin was much bigger.
We’re going to another boat show this month, hopefully searay has some of them there we can show! Thanks for the comment! 🤙
Bayliner , Quicksilver is all part of Brunswick Marine who also owns Searay.
Bingo! That is correct! 🤙
If i remember the second boat is the best , loose the twin out board motors and put a single diesel out board , better fuel economy and put a decent freezer in it same size as the fridge also plumb in Propane great for the oven and stove also a cooker out back 👍its an Australian thing 🙂and its trailerable 🤘yep didn't get to see the last boat properly tho but that looks good too but needs what i said about the second one , would be great live aboards expesily for 1 or 2 people easy , will need lots off solar up top tho and a few batteries inside
That was a nice one too. Diesel option would be sweet! 🤙
Having seen the options available on trailer sized cabin cruising bosts , if you value the room you get , i would seriously concider a power cat or twin hull option
Wish they had some at the show to walkthrough! They do have great space!
Did you see any Sea Ray Sundancer's. The 29 foot model is trailerable and is an awesome boat.
No unfortunately we didn’t. Sea Ray only had their big hitters or smaller bow riders. We’re headed to the Palm beach boat show in a week hopefully they’ll have something there we can check out! 🤙
I liked the second "Bayliner" better. It seemed more spacious.
That was a very nice boat too. Just fit and finish wasn’t as close to the solara for the price. Solara did have a 31 ft that was comparable but we thought it was too big for this comparison and THAT blew everything out of the water! Thanks for the comment! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating ..... The solara is definitely nicer finish wise. Bayliner was never known for "fit and finish".
What half ton truck are you using that can haul that boat.
We use a Tahoe. But you can use your sleigh, Santa. That pulls plenty!
Ranger tug seems like the best value. But thanks for sharing 👍
We love those ranger tugs too! ♥️
Makes my Bayliner look like a pinto 😂 beautiful boat though! Looks like a good show
It really does! It was a lot of fun!🤙
I’m 6 4 I could not fit on a trailerable boat. I would need a 34 to a 36 ft. I need a full head and small galley. A would need a small live aboard . But nice video.
I hear ya. Alieys did is 6’6” and he has a hard time finding anything under 40 to live in!

Oye...thats the perfect niche. We are looking for this size under 40' that we can tow with our 3500 and sleep over night. Out top contender will be cutwater cb30. Will be looking at more of your reviews.
Gracias por el video🤛💪
Thank you so much! The cutwater 30 is a monster! Now THAT is a boat you can spend a few weeks on if you wanted to. Top quality, great features and they’re built well. The whole ranger tug umbrella is solid! Good luck with that and thank you for the kind words! 🤙
It is a nice boat but staring at that bar in the windscreen would get to me.
I didn’t even notice the bar but that would annoy me too!🤙
Did you do a segment on fishing and family out type boat 26’ and above ?
We did another video on the best family boats under 60k. There was a couple good deals and some decently outfitted boats. The show huge so it was hard to film everything. We only made it to the convention center and that took all day. Between networking and filming what we filmed our day was gone. Next year im going to try and film for two days to get more footage. 🤙
5200 3,000hp red black baot 👍😎👍⚓️⚓️👍😎👍
The Axopar is by far the best boat you viewed, the quality of Axopar is far superior than the others.
We loved that one a lot too! Very cool layout! 🤙
Make Axopar demo the boat will so 60 MPH. Get a demo on that.
Who has 250 to drop on a boat though? Not everyone that’s for sure.
That first boat was cool for a day boat. I wouldn't want to sleep inside the cabin, and the head was really small. Boat two was way better. It also cost 100K more. I gave you a sub. Great video.
We really loved the styling of it. And for a day boat it would be great. Just way too much money and that head is for kids.🤙
Wow the 29 Bayliner Explorer didn’t even try to hide the fact that they copied the Beneteau or Jeanneau almost exactly
I’ve been on those before and they’re definitely a step above the bay liner. They tried their best to copy it but I think they fell short 🤙
@@perfectfitboating absolutely agree. I just went on the Bayliner this weekend at a boat show and they fell short. But they copied almost everything to the letter just fell short for sure. I’m just amazed how the layout is exact. The only thing they did was swap toilet and sink in the head.
I like the Solara 250C the most. It would put twin Yamahas on it tho....
We talked to someone at the show who seemed high up there in the company and he said with this 300 it’ll get to 50mph 😳. I hear ya though.
I would want a demo to confirm that.
We’re going to the Palm beach boat show in two weeks. Solara invited us to see all their models. Maybe they take us out for a spin.
9.5 wide needs special tow permits
Correct! In Florida it’s anything over 8.5’
I’ll just keep my 97 232 Rinker Captiva thanks.
I agree. I’ll stick to our Grady. She’s old but she doesn’t have payments for 180k either! Lol that’s a sweet ride. I/o and a cabin right? Do you use the cabin often?
@@perfectfitboating mines got the 454 with Bravo II out drive it’ll do 60 mph. I’m in Michigan so have a short season but I use the cabin several times a year.
Jeanneau wasn't there? Seems like an 895 would be in the mix here.
No, not in the convention center. But we did a video at the Palm beach show and that one was in there! Might want to check it out! 🤙
It seems that these boats have a high center of gravity. Do you think that they will roll excessively?
That’s a good question. We’ll be headed to the Palm beach boat show and we’re going to try to ride in a few of these so we’ll report back on that for sure! 🤙
The best is a Sea ray 35 sundancer 1997 twin 350 Chevy shaft drive and 52 thousand dollars and 16 thousand pounds
live well....how about an ice box/cooler
Price of these boats are RIDICULOUS,,its Laughable 😂 but they are new😂😂,,
I’m with you on that Joe! After talking to a lot of manufacturers, the one common thing driving cost of boats up is labor. But I also have suspicions they’re keeping prices higher on purpose. 🤙
You should def check out the Jeanneau 795 and 895
Hopefully there at the Palm beach boat show in two weeks! We’ve been wanting to review those too! 🤙
How me understand, what would you use this boat for ? traveling?
It’s a weekender style boat. You can travel in it, fish in it, cruise in it etc. You can spend a few days on it as well 🤙
I don't know about nowadays, but in the early 90s, Bayliners weren't great boats.
You’re right about that. This line is made by another company under the trophy name. It’s a polish company. So it’s really a European boat. I don’t know much about the quality of them.
Owned by Berkshire Hathcash🤑
For some reason I like the axopar boats but they are pricey 😅
They’re very nice as well. But you’re right they’re very pricey compared to the others and for what you get. The styling is probably the coolest! 🤙
Only pricy in the US, the importer jacks up the price. And it’s not a 60 mph boat with twins, they are twin 200’s, not 300’s. You can do a single 400, makes it a mid 50’s boat.
@@mjw930 we watched Alfred montaners videos of boat shows in Europe and they’re significantly cheaper you’re correct.
The issue I have is the Axopar seems more of a day boat that can do some limited overnight. On the other hand the Solara seems more of a true weekend boat that can also be a day boat.
I like both options but I have to say that the $60K saving on the Solara seems s hard to ignore.
I agree. That’s why we chose it. More of a true weekender boat. Thanks for commenting!
150-200k for a boat is crazy haha. Can’t justify that
It’s insane. We can’t justify that either🤷🏻♂️
I bought a high performance boat in the late nineties. 30 foot twin with cuddly under neath. Was around 140 thousand. Twin engines. We did overnight in it a few times. They are just meant for daytime flying around. The boats you are looking at today are much more effective for family outings. And those prices are comparable to what I bought. Hey boats are expensive toys. You do need a truck with 4 wheel drive to tow it mainly to get it up the ramp when pulling it out. So include another 50 thousand for that.
@@jimmcc2543 I’m curious what boat it was you bought because 15 years ago you could buy a 31 competition (which I believe they offered a small forward cuddy) with twin Yamaha fourstrokes and trailer for 99k.
Now the owners manual tells you not to drink the fluids!!
But you need a dodge 4x4 4500 diesel truck too tow it
Idk what the total weight is but it’s up there. I think a 3/4 ton will do it just fine 🤙
Hi I am 6ft tall. Do you think I can fit in the toilet of the T25 pilot house?
Absolutely not! I’m 6ft. Not happening lol
@@perfectfitboating not ideal for sure, but if you had to do your business you can cram into there, right?
If you absolutely had to, yes you’d find a way to cram in there and go about your business.
Bayliner Trophy has been around for a long time, years. Bayliner's line has always been providing a very large amount of room for the size. You don't seem to have to much knowledge of boats though
No, i have zero knowledge of boats. I know absolutely nothing. You can clearly see that in the video.
Yes, the bayliner in this video had plenty of space… for kids. I guess if youre child size, I can see how you say this bay liner had space! Thanks for the comment! 🤙
I'll be dead honest. If I went into there with a blank check, I would probably be spending my money on an Axopar.
We really liked that one too! Cool boat!
Only thing is NO SHOWER…. For $190k…… I would need a 28-32 definitely need a shower and A NICE ONE!!! The head should be one of the most important things on these type of craft!!!
I agree! Thanks for the comment! 🤙
What about the Regal 26xo 🤔
We like that boat a lot. One of the channels we follow “ adventures of happy ours” have one. I don’t think that one was at the boat show though. I may be wrong but if I remember correctly they had the big dogs at the show and some bow riders. That would’ve been a great choice tbh. Thanks for the comment! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating the Regal isn't built for fishing tho. So I guess the Solara is your perfect fit. I hope you get it. God bless
26xo is the boat we are strongly considering. Beautiful boat!
That’s a sweet boat!
Not many for sales around me, especially used ones. I think the first year they made it was 2019. It appears to be a copy of Express but with an outboard engine. Hopefully in a couple more years used ones will start showing up in volume.
? No Jeanneau NC 695 or 795…
No unfortunately. Not in the convention center at least. 🤙
If you buy now you are buying 1 of the biggest boat bubbles ever. And we know what happens when you buy in a bubble Especially a boat bubble.
You’re right. We won’t be buying any new boat any time soon that’s for sure. 🤙
what do they consider to be "mid class" now $180k?
Apparently! It’s the price of a new house in some places! Crazy!
What, no Candela electric boats?
Not at the convention center. 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks ... some new boats on my list
No prob!🤙
How much?
Which one?
Cant wait to pay like 60k for these in a few years after the first buyers neglect them.
In a few years you can get them for a great deal for sure! Might take a few years but they’ll come down! 🤙
How tall are you?
5’11 7/16’s
Drink every time he says”nice”.
You’ll get alcohol poisoning

We don’t control the ads brother. That’s all TH-cam. If youre getting alot of ads that’s because Google thinks that youre a good candidate for ads.
We don’t max out ads on our videos.
And whatever it is we’re doing is gaining us more subs now more than ever. Thanks for the comment! 🤙
