CHILI NACHOS | EASY HOMEMADE BEEF CHILI RECIPE

Today I’m going to be sharing with you how to make the best chili nachos! Seriously the best!!!! You can top them with your favorite toppings! You can even try the chili on a hotdog seriously soooo delicious! The hardest part of making this recipe is making the nacho chips 💕 you can short cut and use store bought, I personally don’t like that but you do what works best for you 😊💕

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (you can also use pork)
Medium cheddar cheese
30 corn tortillas
2 cups of beans I’m using red kidney
3 Chile California or guajillo pods
1 Chile ancho
1/2 white onion chopped
1 red bell pepper chopped
3 garlic cloves
1 cup diced tomatoes
7 oz tomato sauce
1 package chili spices & seasoning mix
Salt
Black pepper
1 serving of love 💕

No offenss here at all. Looks great! However, it brings me way back to the 70's when my "Mom" made something similar. It was called "Open Faced Taco Salad". I guess that is what we know as "Nachos" today, but still, really bad-azz...
Recipe:
Fritos Corn Chips... Back in the day, they were the fingerling chips. Now, Fritos Scoops. This avoids any cooking of corn tortilla's in oil and having to clean up the mess later.
1 Lb (ior more) Ground Beef seasoned with Schilling's Taco Seasoning...
Lay out the Fritos on each plate and ladle the the cooked seasoned beef on top.
Then, top with shredded Cheddar Cheese,, shredded Lettuce, diced tomato's, diced white onions, fine chopped Cilantro and diced Jalapenos.. Sour cream on the side.
That is how I remember "Open Faced Tacos" back in the 70's, delicious, yet a cheap way to eat even today.
