- We caught up with Matt Maier @_bigbearoverland at Overland Expo and he showed us his latest build. Not only is everything funcitonal, it's neat, tidy and painted to match! Most impressive was his completely custom camp kitchen slide out. It has everything. Built-in tables, gas stove and tons of storage.

I work in rural areas all over the country and camp as often as possible so I'm building my '22 Tacoma into an overland rig with an M416 trailer to hold my tent and kitchen.

On the KC Hi-Lites wire hider, how did you install that? Did you have to remove the windshield and remove the oem windshield side trim?

So who made your slide kitchen? It's a very nice design.
In the video Matt mentions it was made by Finn Fabrication, but we don't have their contact info.
Super kitchen.. I like to build similar one, but i want to place water tank 80l, on top of it , any suggestions?
We're not sure. 80l would be a lot of weight.

Haha. To each their own, I guess. That slide out is an exercise in space utilization, but obviously not for everyone.
