Detroit River Walleye Season Opener 2024

Greg and I head on out to fish the Detroit River for Walleye on Good Friday. We had a rough start in the morning but eventually found the pod of fish we were looking for. Dark colors tipped with minnows in roughly 30 feet of water was the ticket. We only fished on the American side of the river this day.
Fishing will continue to get better, so make sure to find some time to head on out soon!

I was on the D on Good Friday as well. We ended up with a 4 man. We are about done on the D for this year, St Clair river is next. Nice video, good luck! 👍🏻

Nice video. Get a copy of all boat keys for everything you need for a day out and find a good spot in the boat kinda secret like and leave them there. No going back for keys
