Milim has access to Infinite Energy, she can also use a power that is not based on Magicules called "Stardust" energy.
This puts Milim on a Star Destroyer level of power.
They change the quote from the written material to anime what Great Sage says about Milim's power is. It says Milim is more than 10 times to Infinitely more power than Rimuru. Great Sage couldn't really comprehend how strong, just that she is at least 10 times stronger.
Also, Milim is MUCH smarter than people give her credit for here, which is something they leave out of the anime. In the written material, the Demon Lord meeting, they show her outsmarting Clayman and him grudgingly admitting to himself in his head how smart she is. While Rimuru is arrogantly thinking he is manipulating her, she is the one who is manipulating him when you pay attention. If you go back to the Demon Lord meeting, her goal from the start was to investigate the town, not to fight. She easily got Rimuru to invite her into the town.
P.S., another thing they never get to mentioning in the anime that they basically mention in the Demon Lord meeting. Milim is not at all an adolescent girl, she was the oldest person at that Demon Lord meeting, being over 2,000 years old. There is a reason why she was the only one who knew how Veldora's pact worked, even though it was made hundreds of years ago.

The anime chose to not give us as much information about her intelligence to set up the tension for future arcs, especially the first couple of season 2.
A translation of Great Sage's appraisal of Milim that I like was "The lowest estimates of her power are at least 10 times greater than your own." She also said the attack on her would of killed a demon lord, but that demon lord is not her.

She comes off that way because of two reasons primarily. One, it's her basic life motto to have fun in life. Which is essentially why she seeks out fights with strong opponents, and also came interested in meeting Rimuru but had no interest in fighting him as he was no match for her.
Secondly, though she is perfectly capable of being serious, having the outward appearance of not taking things seriously makes people drastically underestimate her. It's obvious when you really pay attention to what happens that she was manipulating Rimuru. Remember, he would have had to be her subordinate had she won. Meaning he would have had to give her the honey regardless.
To be specific, it is not that Gabiru was not given a real name, but the name's power increases depending on the strength of the one that gives it. Obviously Rimuru is far stronger than Gelmud

This has to be my least favourite episode, I just don't get the thought processes on how hw won, it makes me wonder if they missed something out of the light novel or Manga that explain why he thought honey would work like that.
Two things. One in a medieval setting sugar would be a scare resource. Two Slime was a teacher in his previous life. Slime likely has a lot of experience dealing with teens.

@@benmcelwain5301 he wasnt a teacher he was an architect/civil enggineer that's why tempest turn into a modern city cause he knows how to make/design one. Rimuru personally made the tempest layouts and supervise the whole construction himself. That's why people ofthen see him stroll around the town
