I thought if I was a realtor, as a woman, I would carry a weapon. So I wondered if you carried one. Then I saw your last tip which was "make sure you are not telling anybody that you are carrying a weapon." Very smart! You need that element of surprise. Great tips! Thank you.
Girlllll!! As a female, we have to be more alert anyways, but you can tell your parents taught you well!! My dad was military and taught us soooo many of these tips!! The eye contact, quick mental description of the person and vehicle, know where all your exits are. Your parking tip was 🤌🏽 chefs kiss

I use the forewarn app to look all people up prior to meeting them to verify their info and criminal history.

My real estate course actually informs you about this, attacks on realtors. One of the tips was carry pepper spray or mace. I'll be carrying more than that, but I shall not walk in fear. #realtormcdade
My mom always told us to walk with purpose too... But it was usually when we walked past people at mall kiosks who would try to sell you something 😂😂😂

I’m interested in real estate, but I’m worried about my safety, being in an unknown neighborhood with strangers.
Follow all these tips and you'll be just fine!
My number one fear is worrying about my safety. I've always thought it was a dangerous job, which is why I dabbed in being an investor. Investors normally don't show homes. They allow the potential buyer to enter and look alone. However, I get it why agents show most properties because often times the home is still occupied and the family still have their personal belongings inside.
Correct, a lot of people don't consider that side!
