Thank you, I saw your earlier comment and questions but for some reason it didn't show here so couldn't reply. Shipping to Switzerland is not a problem, the mount was designed around the Garmin XT, but I have a customer with one of our KTM mounts and TomTom Rider 550 fitted (both use the same mounting pattern). The only thing to comment is that if you are using a £xx series Garmin the cradle mounts vertically for which we have just developed an adapter to manage this.
That looks like the one I had on my F900XR. A better solution than mounting on the handlebars. That said, I find the built in satnav is enough for my needs.
Hi Joseph, the mount is designed around the XT, for the 3xx series Garmin the cradle mounts vertically as opposed to horizontally. To get around this we have produced an adapter to for use with the 3xx and I will add one to your order.
Very nice product. It fits and sits so well in situ. The only thing I would is an aperture so that the Garmin Zumo lead could pass through the mounting and be totally hidden rather than trying to push between the mount and instrument panel and then it would be brilliant.
@moto-mate. Thank you. I hope you will let me know when they are available. The aperture has to be large enough to take the socket on the end of the Garmin Zumo lead. Howard
Looks good Phil! I test rode the V100, and it's a very good bike, but the R1250RS shaded it for me. If my memory serves me well, aren't you working on a "mark 2" version for the RS? Cheers.
That looks like a very good bit of kit for the V100 but with the superb multi-Media package on the V100S model navigation information is sent to the bikes instrument panel via Bluetooth from your phone. I would see little use for such a device unless you are particularly wedded to your particular GPS unit.
I understand your comments but turn by turn from your phone is fine if you just want to get somewhere but imho a tour is better planned on a pc and uploaded to a dedicated nav where you can pick the roads you want to use and stops etc. Horses for courses and all that.
Unfortunately, the MIA system used by Guzzi is not the best and, linked to the phone navigation, it gets shocking reviews, particularly for iPhones. Until then, it’s a Garmin for me.
@@cynicaldodgyknees6248 I can understand your attitude but after a good deal of help from my M-G dealer we got the MIA working very well with my iPhone. But as a Garmin ( aviation ) dealer I am not going to criticise you choice of navigation product.
Great ‘how to’ video! Any chance you could do one on how/where to run power from the battery to the cockpit area - ie - taking the tank/fairing panels off??
Hi there, That wasn't covered in this video as it was a customers bike and he had already run his power and also different people have many preferences for how they power their accessories and trying to cover all the options woouldn't really be possible. Sorry
Hi there, I do not know the techmate device so cannot comment but the mount is designed to work with Garmin and TomTom devices, if you unit is a similar sze and weight then it should be fine but I cannot confirm this.
Thanks for the video. What is the maximum weight you recommend, for devices put onto the GPS Mount? Devices vary from roughly 340gr. (Garmin XT2) to max. 840gr. (Carpuride W702).
@@moto-mate. Actually no need to worry. The Carpuride W502 is almost 100gr lighter than a Garmin Zumo XT2 and the W702 is probably the same like the Garmin. The product info on Amazon was completely false. It should be no problem to mount even the W702 to your mount 👍
As we are not Chigee dealers I cannot comment, the mount is designed to take the Garmin XT2 / TomTom rider, you can compare dimensions of your Chigee unit with these models to see how it compares. I hope this helps
Connecting the nav power was not covered and different people do it different ways, some people just got straight on the battery, others via a USB port or accessory power module. There are simply too many options to cover themn all. Sorry
Nice place to mount but the moto mate is flawed. Numerous v100 owners myself included have had it split and break where it curves over the tft. The plastic is too thin. Needs to be made from metal. Mine lasted 100 miles and thats road riding with a galaxy s24 on it. I would avoid this product.
Thank you for the feedback, on the first run of products we did have some material issues which have long since been addressed with a change of material and technology used to produce them. Where we received feedback from customers we addressed it and replaced or refunded the units as customer service is a priority for us.
Great video, just ordered it from you guys! Greetings from Switzerland!

Sorry the above should of read 3xx Series Garmin
Hi, thank you for your quick reply, I noticed you mentioned the Garmin XT which I'd been eyeing anyway 🙂 many greetings from Switzerland@@moto-mate.
Perfect! Except I’d lose that screw somehow!

Ordered last week and do hope that it works alongside my Garmin Zumo 346LmtS

Hi Howard, Thank you for the feedback, we will try to accommodate something when we do the next set of tooling

Hi Andrew, Yes a MkII is on the cards but we're not there as yet unfortunately

Good day, can I use it for my techmate carplay 5 inch device? Thank you, good work. Do you ship to Turkey?

Amigo esse suporte dá para telemóveis?
The Quadlock rectangular mounting plate will fit straight onto this and our other mounts

7:18 good morning, like to know where to order that mount; I’m in Canada , just bought V100s. Looks to be a great mount
Shipping to Canada is not an issue. When you check out on the webshop and enter your address the shipping is applied.
I have the genuine touring screen, does it still work for that. The one in video is standard screen.
I believe it will fit fine, take care when installing and if it doesn't fit I am happy to refund your item purchase
How are you wiring the garmin mount to the bike? Thanks
Connecting the nav power was not covered and different people do it different ways, some people just got straight on the battery, others via a USB port or accessory power module. There are simply too many options to cover themn all. Sorry
Enviam para Portugal?
No problem, when you check out the shopping cart and enter your address the shipping costs are applied based on your location.
Do you sell to customers in the USA?
Yes, sure.
You just have to choose USA at the checkout for delivery.
Let us know if you need any help.
Does it work for carpuride 5"????
I do not sell the Carpuride so cannot comment but if that has the AMPS standard mounting points then it will
👍👏👏👏👏
