I had gs 1250 because I thought it is top of the top. But somehow I didn’t enjoy it. Now I have mg stelvio and I am much more happy. Even though gs was better on the paper.
I think these are a great bike. Very underrated. I am seriously thinking of getting one of these after I am finished with my 1100 Tuono. I am getting a little long in the tooth for Hyper- nakeds now and will want something more comfortable but still fun and sporty. And shaft drive is a bonus. I am not into Adventure bikes at all and would much prefer something like the Mandello. Fortunately here in Normandie, France ,where I live, we have a Guzzi dealer near us.
Tuono 1100 Factory to V100S is the journey I took, probably for the same reasons. V100 is a pleasure and not quite so intense as the Tuono. Terrific bike, zero regrets
I’ve always wanted to buy a Moto Guzzi but, there are now zero dealerships in Atlantic Canada. The closest is over 700 kilometers away and there’s next to zero chance to snag a demo ride. The dealership I liked in Georgia (where I ride a lot) is closed. In my imagination, I’m presuming in Europe and Britain there’s no problem finding dealerships . . . or, is it an issue there too? It’s a pity because the more videos I watch like this, the more I want to ride and possibly buy one.
I don’t understand why the s can’t have the gold wheels like the regular version, it’s there when they first announced the bike and I thought it looked absolutely fantastic and now you get this boring black wheels.
I have the red and gold V100 and it’s a sacrifice worth taking not having the electronic suspension for the looks over the V100S, plus, the savings at purchase and simplicity for reliability makes the V100 the canny buyers choice
I`m still in love with my Ducati Multistrada 1000 DS 2004. I’ll never change it to all this stupid mods. I am the boss of of my tour and all this tech i handle betwin my right hand and my brain! My Ducati has more character then any of this modern bikes will Come close to 😎👨🏼✈️clever you anyway ❤
When I was buying Mandello, guy from dealership told me that Stelvio is more comfy. I am 184cm so was quite curious. It was more Aprilia dealership and since they sold last model he allowed me to sit on his bike 😅. I sold my VFR800X few years ago so Stelvio is not my cup of coffee but I have to admit that position is very comfortable and the quality feel is there 👍
I tested this bike twice and really wanted to by one. I also tested the R12 ninet twice and made an impulse decision to buy the BMW at the last minute. I love the BMW but miss the wind protection on the motorway and I do agree that the engine sound is better. But the R12 does sound sweet between 4-8k revs and pulls a little harder. I did have concerns over reliability on the Guzzi too and the heating in the city where I often ride. I might at some stage switch to the Mandello S, if I start touring more!
Remember when all bikes had throttle cables? How did we survive! 🤣 Maybe I missed it, but no mention of the flaps? Now that's gimmickry I get worked up over. To me it was a waste of labor, coming up with those.
Long time watcher first comment, this is kind of a gripe. Of all of the times I needed to see the bike in your non moving intros and with drone shots and you didn’t do it 😢.
That's simply because this is just the "S" update, I did the full review last year when it came out, it's a tag or card in the video, in the upper right. Also it's a business case, I will make 50 euros on this video, in total after one year on youtube, so I'm not spending time on it.
Stelvio, Mandello and now Mandello S… Have you noticed that you laugh more in these tests than in other tests? 🤟😁
I'm really surprised you haven't bought a Guzzi, you seem to get a lot of fun out of them, Guzzi do things the Guzzi way..come and join us.

The review I was waiting from you. 👍👍
You make me wish I had gotten the S. I liked the Navale which doesn't offer that suspension. Great bike.
I ordered navale as well. I wish it had the ohlins.

Shaft drive over chain for me. Enjoyed your review as much as you enjoyed riding the bike. Well done.

I had to change mine to gold. Could not stand the black ones
It means you are ready for Stelvio S

I love the suspension and the engine on my V100 Mandello S!
No buyer's remorse! In my opinion, the S model is definitely worth the extra expense!
Question is which MG???? V85 Stevio or Mandelo? Or v85 / stelvio with the electronic suspension?
Your rough roads are better than the best roads in the uk
Similar in NSW Australia…brutal on my s1000r.
Going to trade in my EV for the new cruiser hopefully.
What helmet are you using, if you don't mind me asking?
I've managed 135mph so far on the M18
the song came to my head probably be there awhile now
Is the 16500 euro ride away price, or are there other cost when you purchase it? Thankyou.
Talk to your dealership, they are all different.

Cool story bro

The wire on the throttle is for the heated grips. Since it is extra option, is not that well integrated directly to the handlebars.

When the Stelvio gets this suspension, it will be a breakthrough bike for Moto Guzzi.
Seems directly comparable with the tracer 9 gt plus.
Interesting machine from a niche brand. The OCD in me saw that throttle wire as well☹️
My 2022 Ducati Multistrada V2S also has the throttle wire...
i have the standard V100 Mandello and the throttle wire does not do that
@@johngoodlass Mine neither.
S has heated grips, that's the wire for heated grips

Biggest problem is dealer network in Australia. I'd love one but would have to travel 200klm for servicing😮💨
I have a dealer within 8 km! But they are sparse outside large cities.
