- Today I attempt to play Splatoon 3 while ONLY using swim speed up! Every gear slot is filled with this single ability, and while it may seem helpful, is it really? Let's find out!

I use a full kit of swim speed up with splatana wiper and it's super fun, I think it vastly depends on what weapon you use
Gotta say its a shame he did not add in a sonic ball in the corner every time the swim speed ability was useful. Very cool video though. can't wait for more painful challenges.

just gana slide here my little randle about gears and reeflux, swim speed up is crazy good on reeflux, it allows you to play that agrresive playstyle on the front line, it's not a easy weapon to master but when you start tasing it, it's good, i like to play with full speed with it, but also like to add a ninja squid with 3 chunks or ink recovery that allow me to use more curling bomb to move more easely, and on a side note, reeflux deco is memeble has shit but one thing that splash wall and reef slider do well toghether is when you toss a splashwall you can use it has shelter afther a reef, you just got to be smart when using that technique and on a final note i find it verry nice to play reeflux deco with a double bomb built, mine is has follows, 4 out 6 is sub saver, 1 out of 6 is ink recovery and 1 out of 6 is swim speed up cause it's always nice to have some, the sub saver is self explanatory and the ink recovery just allows it to be more spamable so when in a fight or somehing i can constatly toss my wall has i move making it not so easy to aproch, i only have 3 stars on the deco atm but i'm still getting the stategy down, even if i know it's not the best it could of gotten, i came up with the best way i could use it to it's fulles potential, cause i like this weapon because of how it feels in my hands

Full swin speed is good with squiffer amd with the new splatana stemper (2 of my fav gear weapon combs
Instead of octobrush, should use inkbrush for this kit. Swing speed is faster and you can really mash fire for swimable surface

I can’t tell if you’re just bad, or editing for comedy. I’ve used max speed in more matches than I can count. You’re playing it all wrong. You need to support the long to mid range teammates by darting in while they have the opponents attention and finish the splats they can’t. If you swim directly into a wall of shots it’s not gonna go well.
For these videos I don’t necessarily use these gear sets with the intention of playing amazingly. The goal is to see how much of an effect these gear abilities have at max power. I couldn’t care less if I make these to make me look good at the game. As long as it’s entertaining, I’ll gladly edit these to make myself look terrible.
