The biggest part of this for me is the camera update. I stopped playing because I hated manually rotating my camera and always looking in the corner of the screen to see as far as possible.

Logis are now in massive amount of pain
It’s my first war so I tried logi. I played the last few days of the previous war to learn infantry so I figured why not?
I am having a blast. It doesn’t take too long to get where I need to be honestly; and I get so many commends when I drop stuff off.
I enjoy the long drives and easy paced refining/factory gameplay. Pulling up to a factory/refinery and seeing 10 other logis all piling in (yet going to different places) is so much fun.
Idk what it used to be like but as a first time logi driver, I don’t have many complaints besides the lag in some of the areas where there’s not even any people.

Every location important to logistics got shuffled around. I'm sure some of these people were moving just by memory, now they have to relearn the routes. You being new saved you this pain. In that sense, you were especially useful; well done!
So, here are a couple suggestions:
Some vehicles if the next update is a naval one:
1) Speedboat - slightly larger than the standard motorboat, armed with a machinegun, 2-man crew (driver - gunner).
2) Patrol Boat - slightly smaller than a gunboat, armed with a 20mm autocannon, 3-man crew (driver - gunner - commander).
3) Heavy Barge - a bigger version of a barge, has a deployable ramp on either end. May also have some integral armament.
4) Logistic Ship - smaller cargo capacity than a container ship, but has integrated crane.
And something else for logistics:
5) Truck Flatbed - a smaller Flatbed made on the chassis of a logistic truck, can only carry small containers and material pallets.
6) Bunker Crane - just a stationary crane you can build on top of T2/T3 bunker pieces. Nothing special.
7) Empty Sandbag - an item that can be used with a shovel to make a sandbag. Slow and clumsy, but needs less logistics than shipping full bags.
No. Boats just don't work well because of view ranges and balance issues. Foxhole should focus on getting the land game right before they break it more with ships we can never use because they are up against "must have" vehicles in the tech lottery. I'd be fine with ships being their own tech type - BUT the map quite literally does not have anywhere to use most naval assets, between naval guns and dropped bridges.

the wardens did not appreciate us taking their bridge, at all. So much blood.

well. guess its time to jump in.
that camera alone is convincing me to join and play again. have very little free time and it wasent worth playing foxhole for maybe 2 hours when i could barely see what i was doing/ shooting at.

I know that this is a joke, but just so you know, I tested it in the dev branch and you cannot build them on roads, just like trenches!
@@gilodis23 I've seen some foxholes in the road in the resistance mode (with new update on), but then when I tried by myself i couldn't place them

The one and only thing that I don't like about this update is that the backpack is on the engineer instead of being standard issue. I think that should be the other way around. Besides that fantastic work! Its been a long time sense iv gotten a game that I really don't want to stop playing.

Oh god bridge defenses will make bridge battles even more painfully slow
@@cumunist2120 tbh I'm not sure how much they would matter considering bridges almost always gets destroyed when the front reaches a stalemate.
Building anything on the bridge defensively also means putting them in clear sight of enemy tanks that can roll up at leisure. If anything buildable bridge defenses would probs make bridge battles more dynamic, since establishing offensive bridgeheads would give the attacker a better chance than pre-update, at least until a tank QRF responds.

Have to say ... player number imbalace, Collie tanks before Wardens have AT, and gas grenade spam kinda makes all these really nice updates irrelevant. Base maintenance decay rates are utterly savage, meaning players build a base one day, sleep and go to work, come back to find it falling down. If you want us to really enjoy these changes, back off the decay rates, and make bunkers gas proof-able!

Yes, all uniforms except Grenadier/Specialist and Oilcoat available for both factions
The only faction specific uniforms are the Rain coat only for collies. Then for munitions, the Wardens get a uniform dedicated to carrying shells and heavy ammo, while the collies get a grenadier uniform that allows one to carry a good number of grenades.
Then some differ in:
Winter uniform is better on the Warden side (makes sense).
Warden scouting uniform also provides light protection to cold environments.
@@ileryon4019 I still giggle a bit at Warden scout uniform providing cold protection instead of rain protection. Partisans are usually expected to operate behind enemy lines, so logically they should get gear that's good for enemy lands' weather. However the implication of Warden scouts having cold protection is that they're expected to operate in Warden territories that has been overrun by Collie.

I had an issue where I had to re-install my game to a whole other drive all my data transfered over thoe
Fixed my problem by running command promt as admin and putting in netsh winsock reset

Steam has a very generous refund policy of 2 hours of playtime within 14 days. I've never had my refund denied while within this time period. While I try not to abuse it, it's been really helpful when I had to refund games that I can't run.

It's nice to see this update... but.. at first glance it looks like "automated" Bunkers are still not accessible, which is my most important problem. First of all most if not all Player Bases look terrible. 2nd, They abuse the inaccessible Bunkers to make any trench fight pretty much impossible.
The very best thing, in my mind at least, would be to put AI Soldiers into the "automated Bunkers, than can be killed by Player but otherwise have an auto heal, if not in Battle.
wait really? I havent logged in yet so I cant verify this myself, but in the dev stream they did mention accessible bunkers (in the sense that you can walk through them like a part of the trench network, still no AI soldiers tho)
