We heard about the plans for this incredible community back in 2015 and we knew this was where we wanted to raise our family. In 2020 we made our dreams come true and now call Babcock Ranch home! We are so grateful for Syd’s determination and tenacity to make Babcock Ranch truly the most amazing place to live and work!! We are forever grateful to Syd for everything he has done and all that Babcock Ranch has afforded our family and we look forward to being here a very long time!!
@@happyjohn1656 One of BC's 7 initiatives was to build homes and other buildings to accommodate Florida weather, including hurricanes. It did not break a single window, no resident lost internet or power, no home flooded and basic clean-up took a day or two.
This is amazing. I really admire this vision and I feel a sense of envy for the residents, particularly after reading how well the town withstood Hurricane Ian. But I noticed in the videos that no one looks like me. White, white, white...I know it's Florida but I would also love to see my kids and grandkids in a "generational hometown" but would people of color be welcome 😕?

Of course they would. It's not racial but a class thing. If you can afford it, hop right in.
What a visionary this developer is. Ahead of his time.
And you can add to that proof that it stands a Cat 4 (bordering a Cat 5) Tropical Cyclone.
Developers and hoa s are so out of touch with the way they treat buyers
