I wish the Political Messiah, Kwame Nkrumah had the means to wage a war against Ivory Coast and Togo to form the United States of Africa.
United States is the Global Power it is today because Abraham Lincoln went to war against the Southern Colonies to enforce America remained a country, and not divided into weak smaller countries.
FYI, Nkrumah saw the entire Africa as one family. To call Ivory Coast and Togo as his neighbours is to be a colonialist apologist.
If you're not African, I pardon your ignorance. If you're African, you're a shamelessly unpardonable.
Long live United States of Africa.

I'm sorry, but talk is cheap and if wishes were horses, beggars would fly. Nkrumah spoke of a united Africa but did he know how to achieve it? The answer is No, judging from the way he couldn't see eye to eye with his neighbours in the Ivory Coast and Togo.

Did you even listen to what the man said? Does one man with a magic wand make people unite on a silver platter? People unite with reason and come to understand the purpose of what it is to be gained when united... Did you write talk is cheap? My goodness! This is a man who work his ass out investing to the tune of sometimes 1% to 10% of his country's annual budget just to ensure that those dummy African leaders could discern and forecast what is to befall the African continent if they fail to heed the clarion but demonstrated call to unity long before the Europeans did it practically... Is your statement as a result of hatred or propaganda?
Did you also write Nkrumah never saw eye to eye to Togo and Ivory Coast? God help us, no wonder we will forever remain at the bottom of nations... Did you know what Togo and Ivory Coast stood for in those times when Nkrumah was doing everything possible for these dummies to understand the essence of unity without prejudice? Wow! God have mercy on our dummy souls indeed.

Did you actually listen to what the man said? Uniting people doesn’t happen with the wave of a magic wand or on a silver platter. People come together when there's a shared purpose and a clear understanding of the benefits of unity. And yes, you wrote "talk is cheap," but do you realize this is a man who worked tirelessly, investing up to 1% to 10% of his country's budget to help African leaders see the urgent need for unity? He foresaw the challenges Africa would face if we didn’t unite, long before Europe demonstrated it in practice.
Is your statement based on hatred or just misinformation? You also mentioned Nkrumah not seeing eye to eye with Togo and Ivory Coast. Do you even understand the political landscape of the time? Nkrumah did everything possible to convince those leaders of the importance of unity, despite their resistance. This kind of ignorance is why we continue to struggle as a continent. Please, let's educate ourselves before spreading misleading narratives.

Fickle minded. Did you know the traitors were in the neighboring Ivory Coast and Togo to thwart his efforts.?

if you would spend time to read about Félix Houphouët-Boigny, the first president of Ivory Coast, you will know why. There were puppets just like the ones we have today who were doing the bidding of their colonial masters. The French loved Félix Houphouët-Boigny so much so that they called him the grandpa of Africa, you spend time to read about him and you will get to understand more.
