I am several months out of Freemasonry after over a decade in. Began attending TLM for the last few years of membership in the lodge and when masonry began enforcing the c19 vaccine for attendance at the lodge, it was no longer for me. I began hearing about the generational curses associated with membership of the order, so began watching videos on YT. I came across a Christian expert on such matters called Dr Selwyn Stevens, however he holds Catholicism with the same contempt as he holds Freemasonry, stating also that if Catholicism was ever in a family - it too brought about generational curses. Very confusing as to what to believe.

@Suppressio Hibernicis, I have found the video series "Explaining the Faith" by Fr. Chris Alar at the "Devine Mercy" TH-cam channel to be extremely helpful to myself (a cradle Catholic) to learn the truth of our faith. So many faithful Catholics are believing so much misinformation about our faith that this video series has been a long time coming. I think there are over 70 videos in the "Explaing the Faith" series. Each about 1.5 hrs per episode and continues live every Saturday morning at 9am eastern standard time.

Father Chad Ripperger has videos about spiritual warfare including generational curses. I have consumed so much information about spiritual warfare that it’s hard to attain it all, so I might be wrong, but I think one way to break a generational curse is to attend mass and receive the Eucharist for 33 days straight. Obviously you have to be in the state of Grace during that time.

Does it have less effect if the Masonic line comes through the matriarchal side? I know of a good Catholic family that was pretty much destroyed and these parents were very authentically pious. The matriarchal grandfather was a Mason, all but 2 of 9 children apostacized, clerical abuse, sudden onset of "schizophenia" in one, you name it. Prayers against Masonry were recommended and done but only the adult child that said the prayers benefitted of course. Very sad.
