I am not a Catholic, but want to become one. I am dealing with what I believe to be demonic possession because of sin #1. I am now 4th generation to this sin. Going to my first Mass tomorrow. Please pray for me.

I went to mass for the first time in years, and it was a dry, hollow experience. It felt as tho God packed up and left. Eastern Orthodox was better but it is so far away. Lately I've been going to a Hasidic temple, reading from the old testament has been enriching.

Was abused as a child and in former marriage. My brother and I played once with a ouija board, thinking it was just a game, not knowing any better. I went through a period of intense attacks, met with my SD, then was sent to local Exorcist. I went through a prayer session with Exorcist, Our Lady appeared, and I have been a completely different person since. I am still under attack, but have been told by SD and Exorcist that it's a gift. God is continuing to allow these attacks on me. I hope to help others by telling about my experience. Virgo Potens, surround us with your power and protection.

Years ago as a child I remember being warned by my parent to never, ever have anything to do with a ouija board. First time, listened; not so second time. Fast forward to young adulthood & the “in” things were tarot cards, horoscopes, palm readings by friends. Years later and unable to “shake” a feeling of “something being off/ not quite right or peace-filled”, even after the sacrament of Reconciliation, I’d mentioned this to a priest In Confession this year. He immediately retrieved his smartphone, pulled up prayers (kind of lengthy, arm extended ) relevant to my concerns; and, can honestly say that negative “feeling” of mental heaviness left. So far, so good. Immensely grateful to have this young priest acutely aware of my concern and act on it; as in prior times when had mentioned this a well meaning priest listened, provided general feedback and confession continued.

I'm lucky too, considering some former friends and I actually were attacked by demons in the woods and I went to a Wiccan ritual. However, I was skeptical at that ritual and held, openly, going in, that there was only one God who I worshipped and I was just seeing what it was about. These experiences, I think me believing more than I realized at the time, actually strengthened my faith. Though even while having faith, I certainly TRIED to break into 'occult lite' on my own to try and use my own energy to curse or harm those who I felt were hanging me out to dry/did not give me the time of day I gave them. Maybe keyword there - "my OWN energies"... a Catechist told me that it's ok actually to be angry with God while talking to Him/praying, so I actually think these 'curses' were redirected by God, protecting me, as more like prayers or simply nullified.

Wow! I have occult (I Ching & Tarrot) practices to confess. I believed in Jesus, but I did the occult things.
For Lent this year, 2023, I stopped Tarrot. (I Ching became weird, so years ago I abandoned it). Something in the news so upset me, and I looked on TH-cam for a card reader, found one and watched.
But since Lent, that has been my one occut sin. (Oh, horroscopes ... I weaned myself, now I try to avert my eyes as I turn the newspaper page.)
Lots of my occult practices were before I converted!
The point: I have to go to an extra confession just for this. It's good that a day at a time I kept Lenten vows (against Tarrot) not only for Lent, but ever since. (But I have exceptions written above!)
This video really touched my heart.
Thank you so, both of you for this video. I will seek out a priest for confession.
I was raised Episcopal (USA). They don't even believe in Satan nowadays. That's one reason why I converted to Catholic.
    God bless you both!!

@gracedomingo4935 They did, unfortunately. It was Eve's pride that made the idea of "being like God" seem like they were missing out. Adam failed to have the backbone to even question her -- which was his job.
They got what was promised: they saw good and evil, like God. Since then, humanity has never stopped chasing anything that would destroy us just because we're told it's valuable. If that's not pride, I'm not sure what is.

I can plainly see that Godless people are drawn to the occult. Halloween for example. It’s now the second most celebrated “holiday” behind Christmas. Easter was knocked out to third place. Taro cards, horoscopes, crystals, evil eye charms, hamsa charms, ouija boards…just say no. I was getting my granddaughter a jewelry making set and there were hamsa charms and evil eye beads included with the set. I didn’t get it. Our church kitchen had an evil eye on a silk cord on the door handle going out. I took it off and threw it in the dumpster immediately.

Halloween is the vigil eve of a holy day- all hallows eve. It is originally a Christian holy day. November 1st is one of the few holy days of obligation left in the church. People have taken it and twisted it but they have done that with many things including marriage-that doesn't mean the original isn't still a holy thing.

Trust your moral compass. And remember "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone!"
      There is a difference between making a mistake, realizing it was wrong and seeking true forgiveness;
as opposed to making a mistake, scrambling to cover it up, seeking forgiveness for your own ego! in the hope God does not know the truth and forgives all, even the liars/charlatans who hide in plain sight.

I vaguely remember reading something that Padre Pio said about the introduction of tv. He lamented its invention because of all the evils that it would bring. He believed that it was a portal for the devil to enter people’s homes. I don’t think that it’s all bad, but generally it probably brings more darkness into our homes than good. Ditto, the same for the internet. There’s some good things that I learned on the web that I wouldn’t have been able to learn about without, mainly religious spiritual things, and like watch Dr. Taylor Marshall, Dr. Anthony Stine of Return To Tradition, Xavier Reyes Ayral, John Henry Westen, Father Mark Goring, and other religious leaders, on the internet. So I don’t believe it’s all bad. But I figure there must be more bad than good on the Worldwide Web.

You are one of the few who understands exactly what Jesus said.
In ALL the Esoteric texts, essays and documents Jesus has one consistent message.
MESSAGE: learn to discern. Discernment is the key.
He or she who discerns cannot make any error.
WHY - One can only truly discern if they have the Holy Spirit within them.
      Vanity and Pride
We need to be very, very careful when talking about the Holy Spirit.
Everyday I read carelessly written comments.
e,g. I am Saved because I believe in Jesus and am guided by the Holy Spirit.
First up, people who are guided by the Holy Spirit do NOT spend their time writing comments about how great Jesus and the Holy Spirit is.
As Jesus said, my Father is NOT a demon. He does not need praise from man.
Saying out loud how magnificent my Father or myself are are examples of Pride and Vanity. Ba'al and Moloch were worshipped in this way.
We praise my Father and the Chrisr by helping the person next to us. We help those who require assistance.
      Again . . . this requires. . , Discernment.

➨CONFESSION: Why confess to a Priest? Jesus gives power to the Priests to forgive sins:
    ● JOHN 20:23 He breathed on them & said, "recieve the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven, Whose sins you retain are retained"
    ● JAMES 5:16 Therefore CONFESS YOUR SINS TO ONE ANOTHER and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

14 Is any sick among you? let him CALL FOR THE ELDERS OF THE CHURCH; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Perhaps you could clarify a dilemma in which I find myself. I am a 70 year old cradle Catholic, raised in a Catholic home, convent educated. I used to go to Mass every Sunday, sometimes every day, do adoration of the blessed sacrament, etc. Then the following happened. I went for confession at the time designated by our priest and after waitng half an hour, ( and I was the only one waiting), a deacon approached me and told me Father was too busy to hear confession and my sins would keep another week. The following week I tried again. This time the priest himself literally berated me for not attending a penitential mass during the previous week . I was working at the time it was held. Would you be comfortable confessing mortal sin to such an individual? Would you have confidence that he had the power to absolve you. What he did was unholy!! I was made to feel like a nuisance by my confessor. The crunch for me came when at the last mass I attended not even the Confiteor was said, so everyone in that gathering who received communion did so without showing a hint of repentance even for venial sin. Now I watch the Latin mass online. I will not desecrate the Holy sacrament by trying to receive it unworthily. Where do Catholics like me go for help? I am from South Africa and this is the state of our beloved faith here.

All humans who are Baptized with water in the Name of the Father, thé Son, and the Holy Ghost, are CATHOLICS... until they willingly deny something or things that God teaches. If they deny everything, they become agnostic, if they deny one or more, they are protestant heretics.

He said that Satan will trick you into thinking you can sell your soul, but it's a huge lie. But mainly because we don't own our souls and we can't sell it to the to the devil. God owns the soul which is why we can't supposedly make a deal with the devil. It would be difficult but not impossible for one get out of it even if you are not baptized. There are more than just a few ways and that's why we have exorcist priests who do what they are called to do. They teach us in many ways in understanding spiritual warfare. Over fifty percent of cases that required exorcism are non catholics according to Father Vincent Lampert another Catholic exorcist priest. Very few were Catholic. Father Chad Ripperger has a video explaining the prayers in his book called Deliverance Prayers for the Laity. It's a must have in your arsenal in spiritual warfare.

As a Christian, in prayer, I confess my sins, I repent and Jesus to forgive me. That is sufficient. Never take Communion if you have not held up your sins to Christ ,, then you may take Communion. My baptism was glorious.

Baptism and the sacraments do not save us or protect us unless they are done with sincere understanding that leads us to Christ, because only Christ saves us.

Look up the actual meaning of "fetish" and you will see it is synonymous with "idol". "Fetish" refers to an inanimate object or fixation of DIRECTED FOCUS, aka 'worship'. Idolatry is way more insidious than we know, it is present in our sexual fetishes. The dark forces use our creations as masks to extract that worship. We have the creative power from God but the Devil loves when we use it to craft these portals, masks, extraction devices for worship. They're so addictive because they're literally sucking our energy out like a magnet. I want to put this finding out there.

I’m Catholic (7 years convert). My ex-Protestant sister got into the occult and now has “schizophrenia “. Pretty sure she is possessed. Question-can Protestants be exorcised by a priest and released from these demons, or do they have to be a catholic seeking it? I don’t think she would willingly submits to it, nor would my Protestant family (although they agree she is possessed). No schizophrenia in my family line.

He mentioned being present at a fortune reading or psychic reading can bring demons...what about a kids magic show? My daughter and I were invited to a birthday party during the summer that had a magician. I was unaware of he'd be there, otherwise we wouldn't have gone. I was extremely uncomfortable during the magic act, and when he asked for volunteers, I told my daughter she could not volunteer. I prayed over her after the party and explained why I didn't want her volunteering in the magic acts. Can being present at a kids' magic show bring demons?

Hey. I’ve seen plenty of “ magic shows” that were simply slight of hand with special tricks. No devils involved. I’m old now, and I’ve only seen about two that looked like they were using some supernatural help. Later, I saw a documentary explaining the methods of the most hocuspocus spooky guy’s “ magic tricks” he liked dressing up in red and black, so he might be dark. But, his tricks were just a combination of tricks, technology and cameras.
I know a Catholic mom who thought a woman was a witch because she sold “ Herbal Magic” products....😅

When the nuns told me I am the devil's spawn, because I am left handed and beat my hand black and blue, or when I asked for clarification on a verse to better understand and had my head slammed into the wall, accused of questioning the faith, did the nun curse me and damn my soul to eternal hell?

Only rejecting Jesus as your Lord and Savior would do that (John 3:16), that nun has no such authority, and was dead wrong to ever say and do those wicked things to you🙏

We can. But I like the accountability of another person hearing my confession. It's just practical for pruning those pesky sins from my life. Plus, priests are required by law to keep my thoughts to themselves. And the good ones don't judge. So I don't see a downside.

When you hear the priest absolve you, you can know for certain through the authority that it is so, because that’s the authority Christ gave them. There’s real sanctifying grace in that.

    • @idalinadepina9408

Denying confession with a priest, is denying the power of the Holy Spirit. God breathed on the priest and gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit and authority and power to hear one's confession and absolved their sins in the name of Jesus Christ. If one's rejected confession and die with their sins is not good. That's why all sins can be forgiving except the sin against the Holy Spirit.Jesus instituted the Sacrament of reconciliation and we must obey it or less we die in our sins. Not to good at all. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

No, Yoga is not evil as long as the teacher is of good character, and any other class members are good. Always talk with the person teaching and observe their character, ways and humbleness.
If they give you a feeling of good and trust, then you should partake if you wish to. Evil presents chaos in all areas, if we let it! But it is simply a case of using one's mind to ask God of Heaven to guide you and protect you. Trust what you feel as long as it feels right to you. Anything that makes you question or makes you uncomfortable is best avoided. God bless you and all other good, honest and decent people 🙏 👍 😊

Whenever someone who is connected to me uses a ouija board..I am aware of it. I have certain nightmare dreams. They are distinct and odd. So I haven't had those dreams since my mother used an ouija board 40 years ago...but finally had them again...so I asked my niece who was 17...out of nowhere ( we don't talk everyday) we were on the phone and I said.." are you and your friends using ouija boards?" She started getting animated...oh my gosh..how did you know that Joey? For real...how did you know that??" Because secretly she was and she is a regular girl...no goth or weirdness. She's very normal. I told her stop being around that stuff it's bad. So she stopped.

8:04 says certain meditation techniques.... there was one I think is harmless called progressive muscle relaxation. You star like with lifting you left leg up while lying down until it gets tired and sorta numbing it... and then progressing to other parts doing relaxation of the body.
So that transcendental one is, I think where you try to leave your body as a spirit. So you are doing something unnatural.
There are also relaxation breathing exercises.... where you try to relax your breathing and letting go of your worries.... is that one okay?

I used a Ouija board once when I was nine years old. I’d never heard of it before. My friend and her kid brother went into her closet, sat cross-legged around the board on the floor. We tied a flashlight to a sash for light and a spooky atmosphere. When I heard what we going to do, I laughed, thought it was plain silly. But okay, let’s have a little fun. My friend’s brother obviously controlled the cursor. We asked “the spirits” who my friend would marry. “The spirits” spelled out the name of an unpopular boy at school! My future “husband” was another boy in the neighborhood who was “retarded.” When it came to Marty’s future “wife” a battle ensued trying to dominate the cursor. It ended with Marty quitting the game in a fit of temper. We girls ran after him proposing different girls he disliked, which, at age seven, was all of them!
I wasn’t impressed. The Ouija game was stupid. My friend proposed we resume our Chinese checker tournament and that suited me fine.
I later mentioned the Ouija game to my mother, mainly to express my dislike of having to look after my friend’s little brother. He was annoying and spoiled everything by babyish behavior. He left us to tidy the closet. He could dish it out but not take it. He had tantrums.
My Mom could see nothing untoward had actually happened. None of us believed we were going to hear from “the spirits.” She tell me, however, that there were adults who did take it seriously, and that Ouija could be used against God. It was a sin to get involved in spiritualism. That I understood. Mom said I had not sinned because I hadn’t known. Just don’t do it again and tell my friends why. Run along and play. The Ouija board was chucked in the closet and eventually thrown out, like most of the toys in the Cutler household.
I forgot about it until high school when a girl proposed to have a séance in her room after lights out. She had an Ouija board that she’d sneaked in. I declined having seen actual occult practices result in evil. We’d lived on a military base in Asia. Lots of natives were employed on base, so it was common to find weird objects in odd places, natives saying spells over vehicles, buildings, Creepy, unexplainable things happened. I knew better than to involve myself.
