    Wow !!! This is so, so timely for me. I was talking with the father of my daughter's fiance a few days ago. He is a good guy but he is a lapsed Catholic whose wife (the fiance's mother) is Protestant and somewhat anti-Catholic. He told me a few things that unsettled me a lot that I pushed back respectfully on. The thing he said that bothered me the most, and still bothers me, was that there is no basis in the Bible for the Sacraments. I told him that there is rock solid basis for the Sacraments and all the Church's teachings. I couldn't speak to specifics unfortunately due to my lack of knowledge regarding the theology behind the Sacraments. But, I thought, wow, that is very bad news for my daughter to hear her future father-in-law talk that way about the Sacraments. Spiritual warfare!!!!!!! Thank you, Jesse and Dan, and God bless you. Ave Maria!

    I bought this book it’s amazing. But, you have to be ready (battle ready) be in a state of grace, discipline and persevere. QUESTION can any Catholic can do it? Or I have to be part of a deliverance team?

    Fantastic discussion! I would add one small detail: Yoga and chakras are real and in conformity to the one true creator God Yahweh-eloah-allah. sadly, many western and eastern teachers mix paganism or hinduism with yoga. i was taught jani yoga and astanga yoga is the standard model ( also called Raja yoga) all others are false forms such as kundalini or kriya yogas. Yoga means union of God and man which is essentially the holy spirit or divine will, exactly as in western notions of saints. I was taught by such a true guru and all true gurus state that God grants perfection and it is not an act of self attainment, per se, it is the razor's edge of doer and non-doer. Please keep in mind that God and faith are central to yoga, properly taught and practiced. Patanjali's yoga sutras, 32 aphorisms, are the true heart of the written teachings. Salaam to my Catholic brothers.

    Some devout Catholics I've talked to have told me that they would like the opportunity to witness an exorcism because they think the experience will strengthen their faith. I don't know if that could be true or not.

    • @Crusader33ad
      @Crusader33ad ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah. It’s not a spectator sport. If one is not in a state of grace, the demons could infest the bystanders. Remember when the demons Jesus cast out went into a nearby swine herd.

    • @michellemcdermott2026

      I don't think that's such a good idea

    • @DavidRodriguez-cm2qg
      @DavidRodriguez-cm2qg ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If they want to strengthen their faith, pray
      "lord I believe, help my unbelief."
      Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it is yours. Both of those are from Bible.
      An exorcism is a sign that points to something that is holy, but has no power in itself (sacramental), but confession is a sign that does what it points to, effects what it signifies, sign instituted by Jesus to give grace (sacrament). Confession is infinitely more powerful than exorcism.

    He already recently came out in support of the SSPX. Has he now gone further and adopted sedevacantism?

      @@JamesPetrycia-zj7yq Jesus's words not mine about the passover meal of the new covenant. The meal of passover right before death entered Egypt and Moses told them to paint the blood of the lamb over their doorways so when the spirit of death entered the city it would pass over them. I'm sure there were some who didn't listen then too. This Pope is compromised. He lost me at Pachimama.
