  • Sometimes, there are modules that you don't know how deep they are until you make a video about them, and Warps is one of them...
    The Meta Modulator from Audible Instruments, AKA Warps from Mutable Instruments is a lean mean crazy sounds machine, capable of adding those weird glitchy sounds to any patch, and it's even equipped with a built-in oscillator and a few vocoder modes. If you're looking for something to spice up your patches, add yourselves some Warps.
    In this video, I go through all of its section and algorithms, building a couple of patches from scratch, and having me some fun.

    Dude, this is amazing! I love how you get the most creative use out of every module in the screen.
    Thanks once again for explaining one of those modules that I never figured out by myself.

    Omri, your tutorials/demos are the best. The patches you setup are always interesting and musical, which can’t be said about many modular demos. Great stuff!

    Cheers, Omri! No way in hell I want to sit there at my computer testing all these Audible virtual modules when I have the actual Mutable hardware modules, but what I do like about the videos in this series you've done is that you explain things differently to other tutorial/demo videos. I learned more about Tides from your VCV walkthrough than from other demos of the physical hardware by other presenters.
    Nice work! Salut!

    Man you must be tapped into the mainframe. Today I started messing around with the meta modulator, and went to see if you or divkid had done videos, and you had just posted yours. What the fuck man!? You keep posting on the exact modules I need help with when I need it! I FUCKING LOVE YOU MAAAAAAN

    Can anyone tell me what "cross modulation" is? It can't be another term meaning Ring Modulation, or it wouldn't be a separate function. Is it some sort of AM?

    • @OmriCohen-Music
      @OmriCohen-Music  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, it just means that they will modulate each other.

    • @macronencer
      @macronencer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OmriCohen-Music Yes, I understood that :) But my assumption is that it's amplitude modulation. I don't think FM would be possible for real time audio. "Cross modulation" on a synth usually refers to FM, though, so I was a bit confused!
