  • In this episode, I take a look at the PC version of "Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition," the recently-released incarnation of the classic, asymmetrical co-op/competitive board game, and try to explain why it's awesome!

    Thank you for this video. I've been debating on getting this on Steam. Think this will be my birthday present to myself, lol. Very good video review.

    As Dracula how can you see path of all your previous locations? I see no overlay that shows your path.
    Clicking card does not take to you too map.
    Cards fall of after 6, I you can review the whole trail!

    Can you play hot seat on the same PC locally and how does that work with not seeing each others cards? I have the physical game.

    Just played this last night with computer controlled hunters. Gotta say, the computer is not too bright. Was following one hunter and slipped through a hole in their net. While they were searching Austria-Hungary, I was in Iberia. All in all, computer hunters are too easy to win against, you need human players to make it interesting.

    Hello sir, awesome video. Thank you. One question, does it play out differently each play through? Replayability
    Thank you

      There's definitely some variation in the strategies the AI uses, both when playing as Dracula and the hunters. That said, its performance can be a little predictable, inconsistent, and/or sub-par at times. Nomad (the developer) has stated that AI fixes and improvements are one of their top priorities for future patches so this will likely improve with time but it can be a little hit and miss at the moment. In terms of reliability, I haven't seen any technical issues (freezes, crashes, lockups, etc.) in any of my playthroughs, so I'd say that the game is pretty stable and reliable from a technical standpoint based on my experiences with it so far.

      @@MichaelShotter thank you sir. Would you say it’s still worth getting?

      @@Engineer_Eric_59 I'd say it depends. If you're planning to play with/against other people, I would say yes for sure. If you're new to the game and are looking to learn how to play by playing against the AI, I think it's also a solid yes. If you're really familiar and experienced with the board game and you only want to play against the AI, you'll likely be disappointed with the level of challenge it can provide and may want to wait for the developers to make some improvements there.

      @@MichaelShotter never played the board game so I guess it will be a cool experience. Thank you for your feedback sir.

    DraculNOOB! Even Adolf ``Renfieldson´´ Hitler went farther on controlling Europe than a vampire count? 🤔

    Talisman was very qwick/easy to learn.. is this easy to learn?

    • @MichaelShotter
      @MichaelShotter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The basic rules are easy enough but I would say the strategies required to win as Dracula or the hunters are generally more complex than playing most Talisman characters. The game is also more slowly paced in my experience.
