SSgt. Tyler Waters, a loadmaster with the 9th Airlift Squadron at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, gives us a tour of the C-5 Galaxy. (U.S. Air Force video by Jimmy D. Shea)
Brings back memories of my Space-A flying, in which the C-5 was always my favorite to fly in from Travis AFB, CA to Hickam AFB, HI and Andersen AFB, GU. My favorite part of the C-5 is when the TF-39s throttle up from idle to takeoff thrust.
When I was in Germany one of these crashed five miles from where I was staying, and I did not even wake up. Unfortunately, the crew died in the crash. I later read that they were from a reserve unit in Louisiana or Texas.
that was actually pretty awesome
I'm glad I found this. I've always wondered what was inside the C-5, other then the cargo compartment.
2:53 in the Air Force, even the planes have to do push ups.
