I've always been a fan of Nikon cameras. My first experience with Canon was when I used Canon Rebel. It was averagely good but below my expectations. So, I made up my mind from then on that, it'll always be Nikon or Samsung. And, if in the nearest future I can afford it, I'll switch to Leica.

Well the non IS Len is the same as the Image stabilized Lens.. just lacking stabilization. Where you'd need IS is if you'd be doing a lot of hand held photography but if you're going to be doing mostly tripod shots, then the IS lens is really not a deal breaker... If you choose to go for this camera however, you'd be getting a good deal
