As someone in the mental health field, I think you'd appreciate their songs: Magic Shop (all 7), Zero O'Clock (vocal line), Epiphany (Jin), Abyss (Jin), Lie (Jimin), The Last (Agust D "Suga"), and Love Myself (all 7).... to name a few. :) BTS is all about positive self image and mental health and they aren't afraid to share their vulnerabilities through their music.

Yes sir, this is one song from a specific body of their work that I refer to as the "nanny nanny boo boo" group, lol. It's a response fueled by very hurtful comments over the years but even more so, people they used to be colleagues with. Pissed off BTS is so creative and fun to listen to.

Hi, I am back. Nice reaction, ty. Umm, if you read the lyrics you will see this is a diss track to their haters. I am not a big hip hop or rap fan but I love this song. It's so catchy. Yes, it is an older song but their old stuff is fire to me. This is a very clear response fueled by very hurtful comments over the years to their haters. they have a few diss tracks. It’s fun to watch you experience and enjoy the wide range of BTS’s music. I am a fan of music in general and these talented, hard-working guys really stand out. Their music, lyrics and genuineness have helped me through some tough times. Thank you for being in the mental health field. I know it’s hard work because I have been hospitalized a couple of times since my 20s. Here’s hoping the American health system gets better and better. Good luck with your channel!

Excited to see another reaction from you. Yes their songs have alot of styles and tons of influence from US artists from MJ to the whole R&B industry. RM the leader, has a fantastic rap/song collab with Wale called Change if you want to see a collab with a US artist, he’s got a bunch of collabs. JHope has Chicken Noodle Soup with BeckyG. Suga has a collab with Halsey in her album called “Sugas Interlude” and he has co written and produced for a bunch of artists. It’s sooo good and all in English. Glad you enjoyed this hype song where they are flexing and having fun, while dancing their butts off. Enjoy the variety in styles there is more content and sings than you will ever get to.

I think it's wild how many mental health pros have found their way to BTS. Several have been preaching BTS is good for your mental health etc. I can't wait until you get into Suga's rap song called Shadow. Your Carl Jung alarm will go OFF! MIC DROP is a clap back at the jerks in the world. BTS has always been great but they started off without funds. Other groups would make fun of them because they didn't have the resources like expensive clothes to perform. BIG HIT had a hard time promoting because they lacked the contacts and also the funds to promote the group. BTS made to make it on their talent. They never got the breaks, like being an opening act for a bigger group. They had to make their own way.

As a mental health professional BTS is a gold mine. Start out with something early, DOPE. A road map for what it took to get them to their debut. Although I like cold reactions sometimes I think they work out better when the lyrics are reviewed. For a deep dive into mental health try FAKE LOVE. Stay well.

I'm sorry if this is repeat information, the fanbase for BTS is called ARMY. Love your reaction. Since you seem to love their dancing 😁 definitely check out ON Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima -the dance break will knock you out. For the psychiatry part of your brain, Blood, Sweat and Tears, so much symbolism, based on Hermian Hesse's Demian and Carl Jung's theories on shadow selves. Plus the video and dancing is just banging. Also for a more R&B vibe Back Swan which is about losing ones passion and fighting the shadow within. Have fun going down the rabbit hole. 😘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

In Korea, there are 3 major entertainment companies that produce idol groups. They have a lot of power. Basically, they control the industry and the media. Big Hit was a tiny company…almost bankrupt. BTS wasn’t supposed to be successful. And they did start to see some success, those 3 companies pushed back. I’m sure Armys don’t even know the half of it. But accusations began to appear. Plagerism, sexist lyrics and buying their own records to boost sales, etc. All of which were lies. Then they were sometimes not allowed stage time at music shows.
So as they got bigger, Mic Drop was one a few songs pushing back!! Our Tannies are fighters!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This is a diss track to their heaters.....gotta check out some of BTS' history to understand better some references. But basically to the heaters who said they would never make it and now they're on top of the world, more or less that's what it means.

This was a song directed to all there haters it was more or less to B Free who disrespected RM and Suga on a talk show of rappers.
They said they were not hip hop due to them wearing make up and looking and dressing up like girls. Bet you B Free would love to take his discussing rude words back. All he did was light a huge fire under BTS'S already lit songs. And now it's like BFree who. You have to watch that interview. As much as you can see Suga wants to slap the taste out of his mouth. He remained professional and answered him with respect. Then chewed him up and spit him out. In his rap. They played him with there intelligence with 4 cypher's Mic drop Suga's solo August D . And all the vulgar language they could have used they spit bars with the truth and it's rare but they don't have to be main stream and cus they cut them down with.as Suga would say they're tongue technology.

Bapsae is a great song and concept. DkDktv did a great explanation of the images. BTS and younger people being born at a disadvantage to the earlier generations. I used to just watch the dance practice. It’s essentially a big eff u to the man. But just go where you want. I realized there were a lot of sings when I saw a “top 20/BTS songs of 2020”. Suga also records under the name Agustd. Agustd is a rapper. Daechwita is a newer work. The flows change every line and the video is beautiful as well.

It's a relatively simple bragging song, in which they let go of justified anger. "I am rising above all this hate, I don't care about what you said or may say in the future, not anymore. Live your own life, I will keep doing my thing." This diss-track was supposed to be a little satirical. The original version of MIC Drop sounds more like 90s hip-hop, and has more Korean lines (they translated/re-recorded 2/3 of the song to English for this remix). This song was partially inspired by one of Barack Obama's speeches, in which he dropped his microphone at the end.
Some lines are simplified for the MV subtitles (they use figures of speech or sociocultural references that sometimes can't be translated directly without a long explanation)... For example, one of SUGA's lines direct/literal translation would be "We never have grapes in our concert"... Normally, when you buy concert tickets online, in Korea, the empty seats are shown in purple color, which they call "grapes" in Korean slang. This phrase in the MV is paraphrased as "We never have empty seats in our concert".
I don't know what you feel like reacting to, drama and strings? Lie by Jimin or House of Cards. Symbolism and Renaissance anesthetic? Blood Sweat and Tears, or Truth Untold. Hip hop stuff? Ddaeng or the cyphers.
I initially thought you would want to go for the more psychology related tracks considering your career, and I would really want to know your take on these tracks, but you are completely free to react to what you want on your own terms. If you do intend to try these tracks, I would ask for Magic Shop, Persona, the Last, or even Run/I need you (the mental health focus is in the video, not the song though)
