That tea pot...was amazing....loved the colors
I wish you had picked up the rabbit head casserole. It was made to look like an 18th century game pie dish which was made to look like a real game pie of the time, complete with decorative raised crust. I agree that the rabbit head peeking out is a bit off-putting, but it is very true to the look of original, period dishes of this type.
Omg.. I know the lady that made the Christmas elf house. She makes the coolest vintage Christmas collectibles. I bought a darling vintage green toy truck that she bedazzled with vintage Christmas.
I 100% agree with everyone else who is requesting a tour of your Christmas Decor!! Pretty please…(insert a pouty Hillbilly Hound here)! It’s great that you were able to go back to a shop & have a positive experience vs. the last trip. It’s crazy I’ve been watching your videos for a couple years now and you almost always come across a fairy light and I haven’t found even one anywhere yet. That’s something I’ve been keeping an eye out for.
The thing with the Rabbit Head is probably for making Terrine (A kind of layered meat dish like a very fancy meatloaf.) Rabbit Terrine is delicious.

I’m so happy you had a positive experience. They have beautiful things. The ceramic Christmas trees were the top for me I just love Santa’s and the trees.

The rabbit terrine would have been for a rabbit-based dish, (casserole or pie)
They make a product called snow tex you can buy it at a craft store and dab it on any ceramic Christmas trees that have chips it looks like snow I have rescued and repaired you can also make your own snow paint adding flour to white acrylic paint and mixing till good consistency thanks as always for taking us along via our armchairs to thrift with you and friends🎄

I have a collection of talavera frogs, ranging from small to large. I Hange them going up the side of my 2 story house! They are fun!
8:45 a bit later than Nippon I reckon, the contemporary lines are more Showa period than Taisho. Probably 1940-1970's and unmarked. Kind of last part of the Satsuma era when modern designs and glazing techniques started to be phased in. How much do they want for it? I prefer the bowl with the hairline and the rounded vase with gilded handles tbh. If the four sided one were made by Kusube Yaichi and signed, I would def buy it for $195 ! It is a nice big one, you should make a profit and have enough change for a coffee lol. Good luck :-)

At 4:40 the rabbit terrine is a covered casserole. Popular in France. That is an unusual one from Italy. There is one on EBay for $100. Not as pretty as most. They are quite the collectible.

Omg , you have 7 of those trees? I've got to see your collection. I tried to get one for my daughter for her hospital room but when I saw the price I about I immediately put it back. I had no idea they were sooo expensive. They wanted over 200.00 for it and it was a smaller tree. Anyway, I'd love to see your Christmas decorations if possible. Perhaps you could get your daughter one of the new / old looking trees from Walmart. They have white and pink and green. There battery operated. At $25 dollars , can't go wrong!❤️

Those fairy lights are Fenton's Birth of a Savior set. I believe the set is 3 or 4 pieces. I have one. Would love to have another; ideally complete the set but I cant hang with the prices.
