You make my days better. I am an old disabled woman and I can't walk really well. So I go shopping with you. I loved the hoaders house clean out also. Thank you and your lovely family.
Oh dear. That was a really great price on the Somayaki tea cups you put back. They aren't Otaguri but are Somayaki which is characterized by the running horse and double walled cup. They are really neat because with the double wall you can have your tea super hot in they cup. You don't burn your hands due to the extra wall and the tea stays warm considerably longer. My set is from the 80's. If you look up comps you will see the cups are higher under their real name. Just a friendly fyi. Love watching your show. 😁
Wooden cat face would mount on wall or cabinet and you could slide your kitchen towel up inside it to hang. There are many versions of this type of kitchen or bathroom hand towel hanger.
My granddaughter is named Jocelyn. Picked her up one night to take her to dinner, told her we had a surprise for her, her response was "Are you taking me to Goodwill?" She loves going. We do yard art and find cool stuff
Thank you so much Jocelyn I really really enjoyed watching you pick up that cool stuff at the goodwill. And I hope you get very good prices for your stuff. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
My mom had a set of those somayaki double walled mugs back around 1960. She probably got them at the old Cost Plus store in San Francisco where we lived at the time. Brings back memories!
The little fawn-colored, black masked dog (did you say maybe chalkwear?) is a Boxer. Great Dane tails are not usually docked. In fact there is a movement to stop cropping ears, too. 😃
You would be totally proud of me. I found a Fitz & Floyd French Market lidded pig candy dish for $2.70 at a local Goodwill. I think it is discontinued but found couple on Etsy selling for $60-68.
That little car planter you got is from the late 1950s to early 1969s (my mother collected them). Also, the porcelain butterflies you left on the steps were, vintage home interiors dating to the late 1970s (my sister used to sell it back then via home parties).
Italian trinket dish is neat, cu p and saucer with the smiley faces were cute! The dog toy adorable with the tongue😄 I’m always buying weird different bouncy balls, dog cup. That lam looked like a giant pickle. Lol! Love the pie plate and the planter. Oh my, I’m writing a novel.🤗
I went to your ebay store and several of the items you found in this video were there. I had no idea you could see things you just bought and bid on them so soon. Yay!
@@jenniferstout468 exactly. You Tube is like advertising for her shop. Maximizing opportunities is essential for success, and she’s really good at it. I think she’s an amazing business woman!
Those cups are somayaki not otagiri. They are made in the Fukushima area of Japan. The history is super interesting. The running horse is a good indicator that they are somayaki.
I inherited a big set of Somayaki glasses & teapot from my Mother in Law after she passed. The set is from the late 80's I believe. They are truly beautiful imho and have exceptional details. I love them.💜
@@kimmurphy6864 They are so much prettier in person. I love mine. They were very expensive even in the 80's. I think that's when my mother in law purchased them. She was from Tokyo. She left me all of her Japanese collectibles. Some made by her. Sure really love the Somayaki tea set. I was so surprised when it was the items she left it to me.
On a antique programme here in the uk they bought some thing called end of day glass it was two walking sticks I did notice on eBay that there where a few for sale in the USA I couldn’t believe when I heard the history of how they come about
My condolences. Jocelyn has been a calming presence to many of her viewers and a very informative distraction from the hardships of daily life - therapy at its best!!
I had to give up a beautiful capidimonte basket at my local thrift store....flowers were too chipped,I hate leaving stunning pieces like that,I don't resell but can only hope someone bought it and gave it a good home.😭
I'm staying in the Eastern part of the World and first thing in the morning after doing my breakfast and having a cup of coffee black in my hand and before taking my first sip,my enjoyment is fulfilled when I follow you together browsing the goodies in each store!.❤️👍😊
the french flowers in a metal vase are probably from the 1960s when the art form became popular again. I'm not sure what they sell for, but i make these now and sm always looking for victorian or 1960s frenc flowers
oops..i hit send by mistake. excuse the typos please. some people repurpose these and maybe Michael could incorporate them into his wreath assemblages.
The clothes pins ahhh wooden clothes pins are expensive. Some places bag them and sell them in lots. They’re great for crafting. Always good to have on hand. Especially for scavenger hunts. Lol.
I think that mould was from Britain 🇬🇧 celebrating Scotland and England 🤝 Union Thistle being Scotland and Rose 🌹 England You can find clay pipes in the Thames London River mullarking With the same picture. Iam sure it's from the 1800
What was the name of the chicken salt shaker you found I'm trying to learn about all these names you're saying and what they mean and very interesting to me thank you

I love that it's sorted by color
3:18 i found three red exactly like those! I got them as they were just 99cents a piece. Still don't know who makes them though either. Wish I did.
You gotta give props to the mom who collects glass and still buys her kids an ENTIRE bag of bouncy balls! I would have done the same thing🤣
😂
6:10 Otagiri Somayaki Soma Ware double walled cups. Just sold a set of 5 on Etsy for $60.00. I paid 25 cents each for mine at a yard sale.
The yellow McCormick teapot is made by Hall !!
I am glad your back at Good Will. I am hoping soon you'll go back to the hoarder to dig through upstairs. Such interesting house.
My siblings (4) & I had one of those little dog toys when we
we're kids. So cute
Girl…I wish my Goodwill’s were half as nice and stocked as yours. I like the color coded shelves as well. 😁.
Not only that, but all of our Midwest goodwills are triple these prices.
Our Goodwill is like a dump
The GW’s that I visit have signs on the cart not to touch items, wait until they are placed on the shelf. I do wait but a lot of people don’t.
That blue snowman thing is for cheese balls I believe.

That springerle mold is from the House on the Hill. I have the same one!
That Tupperware is a creamer that has a matching sugar bowl.
You left the “back scratchers” behind! 😉 The ones next to the driftwood.
Yunomi is the name of those Otagiri or other stoneware handless cyclinder shaped tea cups and can sell for a good profit
Dog cup has a Italian greyhound on it love it
Oh I so needed the tea cup and saucer to match my set

Early 1960s (not 1969s)...dumb auto-correct.
What is special about anthropology? I am confused by the high resale value of it.
Me too but that dog mug is currently sitting at $47 on her ebay site. Seems crazy to me!

I love art pottery, especially rustic and also drip glazes
I love the dog mug
The cute kitty in the bag of Christmas things is a Kitty Cucumber and is likely to be worth the purchase.

Thank you for taking me along😘
I was there a week or 2 ago and they had a huge box of salt & Pepper shakers with Jimmy Carter on them! We were losing it. 😂
I just want to say Thank You! I am a dealer and I have my own knowledge base, but you keep expanding it.
Oh yeah, a burrito sounds so good!! I'm a burrito girl so you spoke to my appetite! Lol
Should have picked up the McCormick teapot! It was complete with insert! Very collectible.

I think thd McCormick teapots are collectable.
our goodwills in new york are a mess no pattern at all and only 1 or 2 small isles of glass ware
I think the pottery items might be soap dispensers. I have one similar with a plastic corked pump that fits in it.

The wooden cat face…….purpose be darned.
That doggie anthropology cup is sooo cute!
The green vase?
🎉great finds
Passed up the mugs after resin press.😣😣
Love the nails!! You are phenomenal!!
Blow dryer on the packing tape will get it off without damaging gold.
If you soak the dishes/things with packing tape on them in dishsoap and warm water, the tape will melt right off.
You’re a goodwill stores are amazing in the Philadelphia suburbs we have rinky-dink small stores thank you for taking us along🤑🤗
heya, still no green fairy lamp, been checking perhaps your keeping it and who’d blame ya lol 😂
Love the dog mug!!
Beautiful pottery. I would probably have gotten those pieces, but glad I can't because I have no room to display it right now.

With selves done by color, what happens with things that are multicolored?? Just curious.
Hello,
Your nails look very nice! 💖
Did you buy the honeycomb vase with the bee and flower on it? Don’t see it listed in ebay store.
Need help identifying a lamp base…?? Where do I look..??? Help please💕
Another great video!
You have to buy the bag?
Not sure but I think one of the “Boyz Bears” could be a Muffy Vandabear.
Is that dog from the banana splits tv show back in the day?
Tupperware sells very well.
Love the videos.. be good to see you do a live sale
Have to say...the dark hair color you have now suits you.
