My cat Neil is very handsy, he will come bounding over, grab my hand with both if his hands and force me to pet his head 😂🥰🥰. He's also always showing me things that he wants or is curious about by tapping on it or next to it with his little feets. If his dry food bowl isn't full enough he will smack it with his feet while expectantly watching me. He also loves to cuddle while we watch TV before bed...so after I take my bed time shower I will do my skincare and make my way to the bedroom, and he's waiting lol. Sometimes on the TV stand tapping his foot on the TV screen or remote staring at me and meowing, or on the bed tapping the pillow doing the same thing 🥹🥹. So freaking adorable.
Yes they do. SO much more. My Kitty is the same way. If someone is in the house that, my boy understands many phrases. The one that let's him know that all is clear when I say "It's Just us" He knows the coast is clear and he is safe

I got my very first cat three years ago. All the others I've had have been family cats. I will never understand how people live without them. My little guy has brought so much live and joy into my life. I don't know what I ever did without him 🥰

My response to my parents was: "This asshole has been deliberately trying to make my life miserable, I don't care how old you are, how much you think you're right, I'd rather die than hug that asshole. Ground me, scold me, hit me, try it, see what happens." After a while of being my own person, I got kicked out, and it was worth it. Screw those narcissists.
@kaynteekeylcee300 Cats been my fave since I was fourteen, 34 years ago. By 32, I was no longer big on dogs. I don't hate them, I gotten to not be a big dog person. And all the more now realize how codependent they are and will literally whine and bark when away from someone. But then some dogs do that because people teach them to be codependent and want to train them to be around them 24/07 ( not counting people who are blind or have seizures and classic reasons back in the day where assistant dogs were truly needed ) There can be some codependent cats as well, but I rather a codependent cat than dog. But I love that most cats enjoy their space at times and lets you have yours.
Yup I met a ginger when I moved here. I know who his Dad is now but I still see him, give him scritches, sometimes a hug and treats. But i have my own kitten now so can't have him in so much. Plus he's rather demanding but I love the guy. He's greeted me outside our alley when I come home or been to the shops.
This made me smile, it's very sweet. I am currently heartbroken, I lost my heart kitty 3 days ago. Dexter was 12 years old and half Norwegian Forest cat. Huge paws, big mane like a lion would have. He suddenly became ill, on Thurs night he had a bit of a bad tummy and a couple of accidents. Nothing else. Then Fri afternoon he started refusing to eat. By Fri night his stomach had swollen up quite alarmingly on both sides, and he kept vomiting and wouldn't eat anything, Sat morning I called and got him an emergency appointment with the vets. It was the worst news possible. The vet could feel a large mass in his stomach, there was fluid in his abdomen area, his kidneys had enlarged and he started vomiting that had blood in it whilst we were there. When I asked her to give it to me straight she said, he was suffering and very very ill, and I asked if it was kindest to let him go, and she said yes. So at 12:43 Saturday Dexter was put to sleep and passed away in my arms. I am absolutely devastated, but I know I did the right thing for him.
